"You had better pray nothing bad happens to her, otherwise…" He didn't need to finish the sentence but the threat hung thick in the air. 


He walked past the doctor and brought out his phone. 


"Get someone to search everywhere for Ms Hale."


"The damned doctor left her alone and went out, and now, she is nowhere to be found."


He turned to the doctor, and tried to keep his voice as controlled as he possibly could. "Before you left, did you notice anything strange about her behavior?"


The doctor hesitated. "Mr. Domango, I—"


"I'm not asking for an oath. I'm asking for the truth. Please don't lie to me."


The doctor swallowed hard and gave a stiff nod. "She asked me to get her what she'll use to conceal the exposed part of her skin so you wouldn't see the part of her skin that was exposed. That's all. She was already in the bathroom when I left and she promised to go back to bed afterwards."
