After defeating the second bigger widow spider the group is still caughting their breaths but something is slowly approaching.

"Only I can summon those!" Volume 2
Chapter 3: Dragon fear!
As they caught their breath, the group shared a laugh, relieved that the battle was over. But their celebration was short-lived.
A deafening roar echoed through the cavern, causing the ground to tremble beneath their feet. The group's laughter died on their lips as they turned to face the new threat.
A massive, three-headed dragon emerged from the shadows, its eyes blazing with fury. Each head was the size of a small house, with scales as black as coal and eyes that glowed like embers.
"What the...?" Kieth trailed off, his eyes wide with shock. "You gotta be kidding me?! We just killed the boss spider, didn't we?"
Grath's face was grim. "I think we just killed the spider's baby.then it's mother"
The group exchanged nervous glances. They had unknowingly awakened the true boss of the dungeon.
Kieth's eyes widened as his system alert flashed bright red.
"Ugh now what?!"
"Emergency Quest Activated!" the system announced, its voice urgent.
Kieth's gaze scanned the message:
"Quest: Valtorix Annihilation
Difficulty: Extreme
Target: Valtorix (Level 83)
Reward:
- Gundam Shards x2
- Instant Level Up x2
- Dragon Skill Rune x1 (Dragon Fear)
Failure Penalty: Level Demotion x1
Accept Quest? Y/N"
Kieth's eyes locked onto the reward. Gundam Shards, Instant Level Ups, and a Dragon Skill Rune? This was an opportunity he couldn't miss!
Without hesitation, Kieth accepted the quest...
The system confirmed his acceptance, and Kieth felt a surge of determination. He was ready to take down the Valtorix and claim his rewards!
"Well, this is just great," Josh muttered, readjusting his grip on his sword. "Just what we needed. Another boss fight."
Keriel's eyes sparkled with determination. "Bring it on. We've got this."
The three-headed dragon roared again, its voices echoing off the walls as it charged towards the group...
Here's the revised continuation:
"It's a hydra," Kieth said, his eyes fixed on the three-headed dragon.
"What's a hydra?" Lyra asked, her brow furrows.
Josh's expression was grim. "It's a creature from ancient mythology. A serpent-like dragon with multiple heads. But I've never seen one with three heads before."
Sir Aleric's voice was low and serious. "I think I know what this creature might be. It's a Valtorix, a legendary dragon from our world's ancient lore."
The group turned to Sir Aleric, intrigued. "What do you know about it?" Kieth asked.
Sir Aleric's eyes were somber. "The Valtorix is said to be a fierce and powerful creature. Its multiple heads make it a formidable opponent, and its scales are said to be as hard as steel."
The group exchanged nervous glances. They knew they were in for the fight of their lives...
Kieth grinned, trying to lighten the mood. "Well, I guess this is what they mean by 'three heads are better than one'... especially when they're all trying to eat you!"
The group groaned at Kieth's joke, but it brought a brief smile to their faces.
"Alright, let's focus," Grath said, his expression serious. "We need to take out those heads one by one."
"I'll take point," Sir Aleric said, drawing his sword. "My armor should be able to withstand its flames."
"Keriel, can you cast a spell to weaken its flames?" Lariel asked.
Keriel nodded. "I can try. But I'll need some time to cast it."
"Josh, can you provide cover for Keriel while she casts her spell?" Grath asked.
Josh nodded, readying his bow. "Got it."
Lyra drew her dagger, her eyes fixed on the Valtorix. "I'll take care of any smaller creatures that might come our way."
Kieth readied his shotgun, a fierce glint in his eye. "Let's do this."
The group charged forward, ready to face the fierce Valtorix...
As they approached the Valtorix, Kieth turned to the group with a mischievous grin. "Hey, guys? Can I summon my minigun for this fight?"
Grath raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure that's necessary?"
Kieth nodded enthusiastically. "Trust me, it'll be worth it. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve."
Sir Aleric chuckled. "Very well, Kieth. Summon your minigun. But try not to get too carried away."
Kieth whooped in excitement, pulling out a small device from his pocket. He pressed a few buttons, and a holographic display flickered to life in front of him.
"Minigun," a robotic voice announced.
A massive minigun materialized in front of Kieth, its barrels spinning menacingly. The Valtorix's heads snapped towards Kieth, their eyes fixed on the minigun with a mixture of curiosity and fear.
Kieth grinned, cracking his knuckles. "Time to show this dragon who's boss."
"hey sir ,aleric! Do this lizard taste good?"
Sir Aleric's expression turned stern, but a hint of amusement danced in his eyes. "I highly doubt that's a concern at the moment, Kieth. We're trying to defeat the beast, not cook it for dinner."
Kieth chuckled. "Just wondering, sir. You know, for future reference."
Sir Aleric shook his head, a small smile on his face. "I'll make sure to add 'dragon meat tasting' to our post-mission debriefing."
The Valtorix, seemingly annoyed by their conversation, unleashed a blast of flames that singed the air. Kieth and Sir Aleric dodged to the side, avoiding the inferno.
"Alright, enough chit-chat," Grath said, his sword flashing in the dim light. "Let's take down this beast!"
The group charged forward, their movements a blur as they clashed with the Valtorix. Kieth's minigun roared to life, spitting out a hail of bullets that ripped into the dragon's scales. Sir Aleric's sword sliced through the air, striking true and biting deep into the dragon's flesh.
Keriel's magic swirled around the battlefield, her spells striking the Valtorix with precision and power. Lariel's healing magic wove in and out of the fray, keeping the group's wounds at bay.
Josh, charged forward with a fierce battle cry. His sword flashed in the dim light, striking the Valtorix with swift and deadly precision. His movements were a blur, his sword slicing through the dragon's scales like they were paper.
Lyra's dagger flashed in the dim light, striking at the dragon's vulnerable scales.
The battle raged on, the group working together in perfect harmony. But despite their valiant efforts, the Valtorix refused to fall...
Kieth grinned mischievously as he summoned a rocket launcher, its sleek metal body glinting in the dim light.
"Hey, what are you planning? What's that metallic thing?" Sir Aleric asked, pointing at the rocket launcher.
Kieth chuckled. "Oh, this? This baby can blow that lizard to kingdom come if it hits it. I think."
Sir Aleric's eyes widened in alarm. "Kieth, are you certain that's a good idea? We don't know what kind of damage that thing could cause!"
Kieth shrugged. "Only one way to find out, sir."
Josh, the Sword Saint, chuckled. "I think Kieth's got this one covered, Sir Aleric."
With a roar, the rocket launcher fired, sending a blazing rocket hurtling towards the Valtorix. The dragon's heads swiveled, trying to track the incoming projectile...
Will the rocket launcher be enough to take down the Valtorix?
The rocket hit the Valtorix with a deafening explosion, sending scales flying everywhere. But to the group's surprise, the dragon's heads began to regenerate, growing back with alarming speed.
Josh shouted, "Hey! A little help here! This lizard has the ability to regenerate its heads, so we need to take them out fast!"
Kieth's eyes widened. "Tsk, I forgot its name... Hydra. It has that shit ability."
Sir Aleric charged forward, his sword flashing in the dim light. "We need to coordinate our attacks! Kieth, can you provide covering fire with that... thing?"
Kieth nodded, already loading another rocket into the launcher. "You got it, sir!"
Keriel began chanting a spell, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. "I'll try to slow down its regeneration with a spell!"
Lariel readied her healing magic, preparing for the worst. "I'll keep everyone topped up!"
Lyra darted forward, her dagger flashing in the dim light. "I'll take care of the heads as they regenerate!"
The group launched into a fierce and coordinated attack, determined to take down the regenerating Valtorix...
As the battle raged on, Keriel's eyes glowed with a fierce inner light. She raised her hands to the sky, and a brilliant flash of magic enveloped her.
When the light faded, Keriel stood transformed. Her body had shifted into a magnificent dragonic form, her scales glinting like polished gemstones in the dim light.
Her wings unfolded, casting a wide shadow over the battlefield. A mighty roar echoed from her throat, causing the Valtorix to hesitate in its attack.
Sir Aleric's eyes widened in awe. "Keriel, your dragonic form is magnificent!"
Keriel's voice rumbled, deep and powerful. "I will not hold back. Prepare yourselves!"
With a sweep of her claws, Keriel charged forward, her dragonic form breathing fire that scorched the Valtorix's scales. The group watched in awe as Keriel clashed with the Valtorix, her power and fury unleashing a maelstrom of destruction...
Josh chuckled. "I think we forgot something important."
Kieth rubbed the back of his head. "Uuuuhh... forget she's from the Dragonoid race."
Sir Aleric facepalmed. "Of course, Keriel's a Dragonoid. She can transform into a dragon at will."
Keriel, still in her dragonic form, shot Kieth a playful glance. "You'd think you'd remember that, Kieth."
Kieth grinned. "Hey, it's not like I'm used to fighting alongside dragon-people or anything."
The group shared a laugh, momentarily forgetting the intensity of the battle. But the Valtorix wasn't about to let them get away that easily...
Josh shouted, "Hey, got an idea!" The group turned to him, curious.
Kieth's eyes lit up. "Kieth, do you remember what they did in that famous Isekai anime... Mushoku Tensei or Jobless Reincarnation?" Josh asked.
Kieth finished the title for him. "What of it?"
Josh's grin grew wider. "Do you remember they fought a similar Hydra-like creature in Season 2?"
Kieth's eyes widened as realization dawned. "Man, that's not a bad idea, brother! Ok guys, we've got a plan, and this time we're having dragon dinner!"
Josh relayed the plan, explaining how they could defeat the Valtorix by cutting off its heads and burning the stumps, preventing regeneration.
Keriel, still in her dragonic form, nodded. "That's a solid plan. Let's get to it!"
Sir Aleric drew his sword. "Alright, let's execute. Kieth, provide covering fire. Lyra, take care of the stumps. Josh, you're with me. We'll take down the heads."
Lariel readied her healing magic. "I'll keep everyone topped up."
The group charged forward, determined to take down the Valtorix once and for all...
The battle resumed, with the group working together seamlessly. Kieth's rocket launcher fired, blasting away debris and creating an opening for Sir Aleric and Josh to charge forward.
Sir Aleric's sword sliced through the air, striking true and beheading one of the Valtorix's heads. Josh followed up, his sword flashing in the dim light as he struck down another head.
Lyra darted forward, her dagger flashing as she burned the stumps, preventing regeneration. Keriel, still in her dragonic form, breathed fire that scorched the Valtorix's scales.
Lariel's healing magic wove in and out of the fray, keeping the group's wounds at bay. The Valtorix thrashed about, its remaining heads biting and clawing wildly.
But the group held firm, their coordination and strategy paying off. Slowly but surely, they whittled down the Valtorix's heads, burning each stump to prevent regeneration.
Finally, with a last, mighty blow, Sir Aleric struck down the Valtorix's final head. The group cheered as the dragon's body slumped to the ground, defeated.
Josh grinned, panting. "That was one heck of a fight."
Kieth chuckled. "Told you we could do it."
Keriel transformed back into her human form, smiling. "Thanks for the teamwork, everyone."
The group shared a laugh, relieved and triumphant. But as they caught their breath, they knew their journey was far from over...
Josh grinned mischievously at Kieth. "You know, we did promise ourselves a dragon dinner."
Kieth chuckled, rubbing his hands together. "Time to fire up the grill, brother!"
The two of them set to work, expertly skinning and cleaning the Valtorix's meat. They built a makeshift grill, using the cavern's stones to create a makeshift barbecue pit.
As the meat sizzled and crackled over the flames, the aroma of roasted dragon meat filled the air. The group's stomachs growled in anticipation.
"Alright, who's ready for some dragon burgers?" Kieth asked, flipping the meat with a flourish.
Josh laughed. "I think we're all ready for that."
The group sat down to enjoy their well-deserved meal, savoring the taste of their hard-won victory...
As Kieth and Josh expertly flipped the dragon meat on the makeshift grill, the aroma of roasted Valtorix filled the air. The group's stomachs growled in anticipation.
Kieth's system alert flashed again, this time with a triumphant tone:
"Quest Complete: Valtorix Annihilation!
Rewards:
- Gundam Shards x2
- Instant Level Up x2
- Dragon Skill Rune x1 (Dragon Fear)"
Kieth's eyes widened as he received the rewards. Two Instant Level Ups!
His level skyrocketed, and his stats increased dramatically. Kieth felt a surge of power and excitement.
Josh looked at him curiously. "Hey, Kieth, what's up?"
Kieth grinned, holding up his hands in a victory gesture. "Just got my rewards, brother! Two level ups and some awesome loot!"
The group cheered, congratulating Kieth on his good fortune. Keriel smiled, impressed. "Nice work, Kieth. You're getting stronger by the minute."
Kieth chuckled, feeling proud of himself. "Hey, someone's got to keep up with you Dragonoids."
As they sat down to enjoy their dragon meat feast, Kieth activated the Dragon Skill Rune. A fierce, dragon-like aura erupted from him, and the group felt a shiver run down their spines...
"What's that?" Lyra asked, eyes wide with wonder.
Kieth grinned, feeling the power of the Dragon Skill Rune coursing through him. "Just a little something I picked up. It's called Dragon Fear."
The group nodded, impressed. With Kieth's newfound power and their combined strength, they were ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead...
