As I stood there, frozen in confusion, the guard turned its head toward me, its expression concerned. "Hey, are you alright?" it asked.
Serena, who was standing beside me, also looked at me with worry. "Kieth, what's wrong?" she asked.
But I ignored them both, my eyes fixed on the system notifications still flashing before my eyes. I had more pressing questions that needed answers.
"Hey, Metatron!" I called out, my voice firm. "What's all this about a hidden tutorial quest? Why am I suddenly a player and not a user?"
There was a pause before Metatron responded, its voice dripping with pride. "Ah, Kieth, you've finally discovered the truth. You see, after you received your class, you were given a special privilege to choose your path. But, due to circumstances, you ignored the selection process."
Metatron's tone turned boastful. "So, I, in my infinite wisdom, decided to analyze your desires and create a customized experience tailored to your needs. I mean, let's be real, who needs a weak, junk class when you can have a God-like class and arsenal?"
I remembered that night, falling asleep and dreaming of guns, Gundams, and other fantastical things. Metatron continued, "I, or rather, my predecessor, created an analysis based on player's desires. And, as a result, you received an unparalleled class and arsenal."
Metatron's voice took on a hint of smugness. "And now, with the completion of the hidden tutorial quest, the system will revert to its original function and adjust to your playstyle. Congratulations, Kieth, you're now a true player."
I stood there, my mind reeling from the revelations. The guard and Serena looked at me, concerned, but I just shook my head, still trying to process the truth about my journey so far.

I took a deep breath, trying to wrap my head around everything. I had so many questions, but before I could ask any of them, the guard spoke up.
"Um, Kieth, are you okay? You've been standing there for a while, staring off into space."
I turned to the guard, then to Serena, who was watching me with a worried expression. I nodded, trying to reassure them. "I'm fine. Just...just got a lot to process."
The guard nodded, seeming to accept my explanation. "Alright, well, if you're ready, the Dragon Queen awaits."
I steeled myself, nodding. It was time to face whatever lay ahead. I pushed open the doors to the throne room and stepped inside.
"Alright, here goes nothing!" Keith said as the guard opened the door as the giant door opened. I can see a couple of people who are currently discussing something with the dragon queen whose faces turn soft after seeing me. And the people in front of her slowly turn to face me. As I slowly recognize them. I just utter a word.
"Man, long time!"

Chapter 1: meet up!
As we stood before the Dragon Queen, Valeria Eragon, in her grand throne room. Our team, consisting of Princess Lyra, Keriel, Lariel, Grath, Air Aleric, and myself, had been discussing the terms of their deal with the demon kings with the other alliance that the goddess made.
Valeria's piercing gaze swept across our group. "So, we have an agreement: a five-year ceasefire with the demon army, during which time you will undergo rigorous training to prepare for the impending war."
Princess Lyra nodded, her determination evident. "We understand, Your Majesty. We will not waste this opportunity."
Keriel, our team's strategist, spoke up. "If I may ask, Your Majesty, what kind of training can we expect?"
Valeria's expression turned enigmatic. "You will be trained in the ancient arts of magic, combat, and diplomacy. You will learn from the best instructors in the realm, and you will be pushed to your limits."
Lariel, our team's mage, looked intrigued. "Ancient arts of magic? I've heard rumors of a long-lost spellbook hidden within the dragon's hoard."
Valeria's eyes seemed to gleam with amusement. "Ah, yes. The spellbook of Eldrid. It is indeed hidden within our hoard, and those who prove worthy will have the chance to study its secrets."
Grath, our team's warrior, grinned. "I'm looking forward to getting my hands on that spellbook."
Air Aleric, our team's archer, nodded in agreement. "We'll make sure to prove ourselves worthy, Your Majesty."
I, Josh, spoke up, my voice firm. "We won't let you down, Your Majesty. We'll work tirelessly to become the strongest versions of ourselves."
Valeria's gaze lingered on me for a moment before she nodded. "I expect nothing less from the heroes of this realm. Now, go. Your training begins immediately."
As we turned to leave, I caught a glimpse of the doors opening behind us. We saw a familiar silhouette, and that moment I knew it was him. My old friend, my brother not in blood. Kieth, the other hero, stood in the entrance, a look of determination etched on his face. As his expression softened. "Man, long time no see!"
But before I could reach him, a figure darted past me, rushing towards Kieth with a joyful cry. Princess Lyra, with her long, golden hair flowing behind her, leapt into Keith's arms, embracing him in a tight hug.
"Kieth!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement. "I was so worried about you! What happened?"
Kieth's expression changed from determination to surprise and then to a warm smile as he wrapped his arms around Lyra, returning her hug.
I chuckled, feeling a sense of amusement at the sight. It was clear that Lyra had missed Kieth dearly. I approached them, a grin still plastered on my face.
"Hey, Lyra, give the guy some space," I teased, trying to hide my amusement. "He's just gotten here."
Lyra pulled back, her cheeks flushing slightly, but her eyes sparkling with happiness. "Sorry, Josh. I just missed him so much."
Kieth smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's okay, Lyra. I missed you too."
I rolled my eyes good-naturedly. "You two are something else."
Valeria, the Dragon Queen, watched the exchange with a hint of a smile on her face. "It seems that our heroes have a strong bond. This is good. They will need each other in the trials to come."
Valeria, the Dragon Queen, nodded, her expression warm. "In celebration of our new alliance and the reunion of our heroes, I decree that a grand banquet shall be held in their honor."
The throne room erupted into a flurry of activity as servants and guards scurried to prepare for the banquet. The Dragon Queen gestured to a large, ornate door on the side of the room.
"The banquet hall is prepared. Let us proceed."
We followed the Dragon Queen, Lyra still clinging to Kieth's arm, as we made our way to the banquet hall. The room was filled with long tables laden with all manner of delicacies: roasted meats, steaming vegetables, and exotic fruits.
The Dragon Queen took her seat at the head of the table, with us gathered around her. Josh and I sat to her right, with Lyra and Kieth to her left. The rest of our team, Keriel, Lariel, Grath, and Air Aleric, filled in the remaining seats.
As we sat down, the Dragon Queen raised her glass. "To our heroes, may their bond and strength bring us victory against the forces of darkness."
We echoed her toast, clinking our glasses together as the banquet began. The room filled with laughter and conversation as we enjoyed the feast.
I leaned over to Kieth, who was busy devouring a roasted turkey leg. "Hey, man, what's with the weird look on your face earlier?"
Kieth's expression turned serious, and he glanced around the table before leaning in close. "I'll tell you later, Josh. It's about the system notifications I got earlier."
My curiosity was piqued, but I nodded, knowing that Kieth would fill me in when the time was right. For now, I just smiled and clapped him on the back. "Enjoy the banquet, man. We've earned it."
The Dragon Queen's voice rang out across the banquet hall, her words filled with conviction and determination. "Let us celebrate, for one of our heroes, Kieth, remains with us! We will not lose this war!"
The hall erupted into cheers and applause, with our team and the Dragon Queen's guards pounding their fists on the tables and shouting in agreement. Lyra threw her arms around Kieth's neck, tears of joy streaming down her face.
Kieth's face turned bright red as he laughed and hugged Lyra back, a huge grin spreading across his face. I clapped him on the back, grinning from ear to ear.
"We're not going to lose this war, Kieth! We've got your back!" I shouted above the din.
The Dragon Queen raised her glass, her eyes shining with determination. "To Kieth, our hero! May his bravery and strength inspire us all to victory!"
The hall fell silent for a moment as we all raised our glasses in a toast to Kieth. Then, as one, we drank and cheered, the banquet hall erupting into a joyous celebration that would last long into the night.
"So you mean you've been trapped in your own system pocket dimension all this time while we fight that demon lieutenant?" Josh asks.
Kieth nodded, taking a sip of his drink. "Yeah, that's right. I've been stuck in there, fighting for my life, while you guys were fighting the demon lieutenant."
Lyra's eyes widened in shock. "That's terrible! We had no idea."
Kieth shrugged. "It's not your fault. I was trapped in a different dimension, a pocket universe created by the system. I had to survive on my own, fighting against the system's monsters and trying to find a way out."
I, Josh, shook my head. "I can't believe we didn't know. We thought you were just...gone."
Kieth smiled wryly. "Yeah, I know. But I'm back now, and I'm not going anywhere ,and this time I'll make sure to beat those bastards"
The Dragon Queen, Valeria, spoke up, her voice warm. "We are glad to have you back, Kieth. You are a valuable ally, and we will need your strength in the battles to come."
Kieth nodded, his expression serious. "I'm ready to do my part. I won't let you guys down."
The banquet hall erupted into cheers and applause once again, with our team and the Dragon Queen's guards shouting in agreement. The celebration continued late into the night, with Kieth's return being the cause for joy and relief.
The next morning, I, Josh, woke up feeling refreshed and ready to go. I stretched, yawned, and swung my legs over the side of the bed.
Kieth was already up, sitting on the couch in our quarters, sipping a cup of coffee. He looked up as I stood up, a hint of a smile on his face.
"Morning, Josh. Ready to start training?"
I nodded, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "Born ready."
We headed down to the training grounds, where the rest of our team was already gathered. Lyra, Keriel, Lariel, Grath, and Air Aleric were all chatting and laughing, looking eager to get started.
The Dragon Queen, Valeria, stood at the front of the group, a stern expression on her face.
"Today, we begin your training. You will be pushed to your limits, tested in every way imaginable. But I have no doubt that you will rise to the challenge."
She nodded to a group of instructors standing off to the side. "Your trainers will guide you through the process. Listen to them, learn from them, and you will become the heroes this realm needs."
With that, the training began. We were put through a series of physical and magical tests, designed to push us to our limits. Kieth and I worked together, using our unique skills to overcome each challenge.
As the day wore on, I could feel myself growing stronger, my abilities honing to a fine edge. I knew that Kieth was feeling the same way, our bond growing stronger with every passing moment.
We were in this together, and nothing was going to stop us.
As we took a break from our training, Kieth's expression suddenly changed from relaxed to surprised.
"Wait a minute..." he muttered, his eyes widening in realization.
I looked at him curiously. "What's up, Kieth?"
Kieth's face lit up with excitement. "I almost forgot! I got a bunch of rewards from the system earlier!"
He quickly pulled out his device and checked his notifications. His eyes scanned the screen, and a huge grin spread across his face.
"Yes! I got my rewards!" he exclaimed.
He showed me his screen, and I whistled in amazement. "Wow, Kieth, you got a ton of stuff!"
Kieth chuckled, still grinning. "I know, right? I got a bunch of experience points, some new skills, and...oh, yeah! I got my Fix Tool!"
He selected the Fix Tool from his inventory and chose the Masked Rider Suits (Faiz) as the item to repair. The suits, which had been damaged in a previous battle, began to glow with a soft blue light.
As we watched, the suits began to repair themselves, the damage disappearing before our eyes. Kieth whooped in excitement, pumping his fist in the air.
"Yes! My Faiz suits are back in action!" he exclaimed.
I chuckled, shaking my head. "You and your love for Masked Rider, Kieth."
Kieth grinned, unrepentant. "Hey, someone's got to represent the heroes of Japan!"
He paused, a sly glint in his eye. "Just wait and see, Josh. Sooner or later, I'll summon a Gundam."
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A Gundam? You mean, like, a giant robot?"
Kieth nodded, his grin growing wider. "The very same. And when I do, we'll be unstoppable."
I chuckled, shaking my head. "I'm looking forward to it, Kieth. Just don't expect me to be the one piloting it."
Kieth laughed, clapping me on the back. "Don't worry, Josh. I've got that covered."
As Kieth continued to explain, his eyes sparkled with excitement.
"According to the system, I can summon a Gundam by collecting the required shards. The shards are specific to each Gundam model, and the number of shards needed varies."
He pulled out his device and showed me the list of available Gundams:
- Black Barbados Lopus Rex: x10 shards
- Flame Kaede: x10 shards
- Gundam Shinobi White: x10 shards
- Gundam RX-78-2: x5 shards
- Cosmic Freedom: x15 shards
- Gundam Wing Zero: x20 shards
- Aerial Gundam: x10 shards
"Each Gundam has its unique abilities and strengths," Kieth explained. "And the number of shards required reflects its power level."
I whistled, impressed. "That's a pretty extensive list. Which one are you aiming for?"
Kieth grinned mischievously. "I've got my eyes on the Gundam RX-78-2. It's a classic, and with only x5 shards required, it's within my reach."
I nodded, intrigued. "And what happens when you summon a Gundam? How does it work?"
Kieth's eyes sparkled with excitement. "From what I understand, when I summon a Gundam, it'll appear on the battlefield, ready to fight. I'll be able to pilot it, using its unique abilities to take down our enemies."
I shook my head, amazed. "That's insane. I can't wait to see it in action."
Kieth chuckled, clapping me on the back. "Don't worry, Josh. When the time comes, I'll make sure to put on a show."
With the Gundam summoning system explained, Kieth and I rejoined the others, who were busy with their own training.
Lyra was practicing her magic, casting intricate spells with ease. Keriel was sparring with Grath, their swords clashing in a flurry of steel and sparks. Lariel was meditating, her eyes closed as she focused on her inner energy. And Air Aleric was practicing her archery, her arrows flying straight and true.
I watched them for a moment, feeling a sense of pride and camaraderie. We were a team, a family, and together we were unstoppable.
Kieth nudged me, breaking my reverie. "Hey, Josh. Let's get back to training. We've got a lot of work to do before we're ready for the battles ahead."
I nodded, grinning. "You're right. Let's do this."
Together, Kieth and I rejoined the others, our training session intensifying as we pushed ourselves to our limits.
The hours passed in a blur of sweat, steel, and magic. We trained until the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the training grounds.
As we finished our training, the Dragon Queen, Valeria, appeared before us. Her eyes shone with pride and approval.
"Well done, heroes," she said. "Your training is progressing well. But remember, there is still much work to be done. The battles ahead will be fierce, and you must be prepared."
We nodded, our faces set with determination.
"We won't let you down, Your Majesty," Kieth said.
Valeria smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "I have no doubt that you will not. Now, go. Rest and recover. Tomorrow, your training will intensify."
With that, we bowed and dispersed, our minds already focused on the challenges ahead. As we're on our next mission to conquer a dungeon and level up there!.
