While Tony and the rest of the team were going to grab Loki, who had long since been incapacitated by the Hulk, I landed on the roof of the tower. Selvig was already gone, most likely he'd gone down, because being at such a high altitude doesn't add to anyone's health, and neither does a hole in the sky right above your head. Disconnecting the device from all the power cables that help to activate the teseract I bent the holders a bit and pulled out the cube. Immediately after that I opened the armour and partially getting out of the front I took out from my spatial vault my design, created to solve my problem.
Tethering a tiny piece of space measuring a metre by a metre I got a micro billet for my domain. Usually to develop a personal fragment of space you need a sea of energy, which is often polluted, and before becoming clean and usable, you have to wait several months to get a reserve, which will be enough to increase the space by one more metre. Teseract itself is a producer of purest space energy, which acts like manna from heaven on such personal domains. But there are a few problems here as well. The first is the method of activation that can make the artefact quietly spill out its energy with all its facets. The second is a critical lack of time, because the artefact can't just disappear like that, and I have it in my personal use for 20-30 minutes at most.
Thanks to a lot of lost time and luck, I was able to get around these two problems. Using a combination of magic and technology, I created a special construct that looks like a model of a spider's web with a diagonal of forty centimetres. When you attach it to thesaract, it immediately covers the entire cube, partially growing over it. In the middle of this web there is a white ring, which I got on one of the missions with Blow. The ring itself, as I was later able to identify it, is one of the ten Mandarin rings. These are extremely powerful alien weapons lost on earth in ancient times. The rings themselves possess simply magical powers, such as the one that fell into my hands can speed up the flow of time for its owner. Unfortunately, for some reason it refused to recognise me as its owner and for activation it required just a sea of energy from an external source. But the most amazing thing about these rings is not their power, but the fact that they are not related to magic and for their creation was fully responsible for science.
Having received a boost from the terrorist attack, the ring increased the speed of time flow around the artefact tenfold. After activating the artefact, I immediately placed it in my personal piece of space and began to go down to the defeated Asgardian.
Only Stark was downstairs, but the flashing red sign above the lift and the lightning flashes a block away from the tower clearly indicated the imminent arrival of guests.
-And the Hulk did a pretty good job of breaking our deer's antlers. - Stark grinned as he looked at his enemy, who was slammed into the floor.

Two days had already passed since that trip together. During that time, Shield got his hands on two Infinity Stones and lost them almost immediately. Thor took the Tesseract with him, and Hydra got the Mind Stone. Stark, on the other hand, along with Banner, went on sabbatical to one of Tony's many homes with a personal workshop. There they'll likely start making some interesting, yet risky shit like Altron. Bruce on his own is a pretty calm and risk-averse person, but in tandem with Stark and his energetic, crazy-as-hell nature, they could make a mess of things. Me, Natasha and Barton got a few months holiday, we saved the world. Although the world itself was shaken, most people couldn't fully realise the scale of the threat. The attack didn't make it out of the city, and for many countries it was a wake-up call, but it remained somewhere across the sea as a minor threat.
I, on the other hand, had gained many valuable things from the attack. Firstly, I was able to acquire a small but valuable sample of Thor's blood that did not carry Odin's curse. I haven't analysed it yet, but the first experiments showed that it's a sea of energy and compared to the previous data it's like heaven and earth. I also got a portion of the blood of a hybrid of an ice giant and an Assgardian. My men were able to take out a sea of alien technology and even half undress one of the Leviathans during the battle. Another dose of good news was the increased popularity of Ulyana and Sam. They just as much as the Avengers got into people's lenses and got a weighty portion of fans. This, in the first, when I release them to spread goodness and justice will act as a pretty good shield from the press, not particularly fond of leftist heroes. And in the second, Foggy and Murdoch have long since prepared the most elaborate contract for the mayor's office, which will allow my mutants to legally repair their destruction and maim criminals, who of course will be out of the category of habitual opponents of the police. I wanted to get Matt involved in teaching the kids, but given the favourable ground he'd have a lot of work to do against gangsters and not-so-honest people.
Right now I'm sitting in my flat, not sure what to do with myself. According to my calculations, the domain will stabilise completely in a fortnight and then I will be able to use a gigantic reserve of pure energy.Since magic wasn't available to me, I could use the super soldier serum, the key to which I'd obtained by stealing the captain's helmet with traces of Rogers' blood. But I didn't want to go to the lab and fidget with the flasks, even if I only needed to take one step through the portal. So, after weighing all the cases, I settled on the most urgent and the simplest.
During the battle my father saw my armour, which showed itself well even against the Warrior and Mark-3 Stark. So the very next day I received a request-order to give him the drawings of such a promising technique. Well, I did not resist, and promised to give everything in the next few days. I'm not cold or hot from his request. The only change in them was an older engine based on two drone batteries. The design itself will be almost useless to them. In the creation of my brainchild was used hardening by hellfire, because of which even the most fragile and unreliable parts became several times stronger, which changed 70% of the whole idea of the design. So even if Hydra could perfectly replicate my armour, they would still get extremely fragile crap capable of staying in the air for no more than two hours, and you could forget about the same lasers. One shot and the batteries are dead. And if they have any questions for me, I'll just rub my face in the fact that I ordered all the parts from Stark, and let them figure out the secrets of production with him.

After almost completely wallowing in apathy all week, I finally came to my senses and was able to breathe easy. Perhaps it was some sort of side effect of the mind stone's effects I don't know, but I can only hope that it was all gifted to me from repeated contact with the stone. When the system reboot timer finally finished counting down I was immediately flooded with a bunch of messages about quests, rewards, and level ups.
