Wang Yin sat in a small, dimly lit hotel room, her back against the cold wall. The curtains were drawn shut, blocking out the city lights. She had lost everything.

Her phone sat on the nightstand, buzzing with notifications she didn't dare check. She already knew what they would say—more bad news, more brands cutting ties, more doors slamming in her face.

Just a week ago, she had been on top of the world. Wealthy, famous, admired. Now, she was nothing.

She clenched her fists.

Zi Ning.

That name burned in her mind like a curse. Everything had started going wrong the moment Zi Ning returned.

Wang Yin grabbed her phone and scrolled through the news. Her face was plastered everywhere, but not in the way she wanted.

[Wang Yin's scandal deepens—industry insiders reveal more secrets!]

[Former colleagues expose Wang Yin's cruel behavior behind the scenes!]

She clicked on one article and felt her stomach turn. Several people from her past had spoken out against her. Old assistants, makeup artists, even a director.

"She was impossible to work with," one person had said. "Always throwing tantrums, always making ridiculous demands."

"She sabotaged other actresses," another revealed. "If she felt threatened, she'd spread rumors or bribe people to ruin their chances."

Wang Yin's hands trembled as she scrolled further. Someone had leaked private messages of hers—proof that she had planned to frame Zi Ning.

She screamed and threw her phone across the room. It hit the wall and fell to the floor with a dull thud.

She was done. Finished.

No one would hire her now.

No one would stand by her.

Not even Guo Bao.

She had called him over and over, but he refused to pick up.

The last time they spoke, he had made it clear—he wanted nothing to do with her anymore.

Tears streamed down her face.

This couldn't be happening.

She refused to accept it.

Somehow, she had to turn this around.

But how?

At the Lu Group headquarters, Zi Ning sat across from Lu Yichen in his office. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave a perfect view of the city skyline, but Zi Ning's focus was on the stack of documents in front of her.

"Wang Yin's downfall is complete," Xu Jia reported, handing over a file. "Her debts are piling up, and she has no way to pay them. She's been blacklisted from the entertainment industry, and now even the high society circles have abandoned her."

Zi Ning flipped through the pages. Every single one detailed Wang Yin's collapse—canceled contracts, lost sponsorships, unpaid debts.

"She'll try to fight back," Lu Yichen said. "Desperate people always do."

Zi Ning nodded. "I know. But there's nothing left for her to use against me."

Xu Jia smirked. "That's not all. Remember that luxurious apartment she was staying in? The studio officially kicked her out yesterday."

Zi Ning raised an eyebrow. "And?"

"She's staying in a cheap hotel now."

Zi Ning leaned back in her chair, tapping her fingers against the table. "She must be losing her mind."

"Completely," Xu Jia confirmed. "The paparazzi caught her leaving the hotel in disguise last night. She looked terrible—no makeup, messy hair, wearing old clothes. No one would recognize her as the glamorous Wang Yin."

Zi Ning took a deep breath. She should have felt satisfied, but there was a part of her that still felt restless.

Destroying Wang Yin wasn't just about revenge.

It was about justice.

For everything Wang Yin had done to her.

For every humiliation, every scheme, every lie.

Zi Ning glanced at Lu Yichen. "What about Guo Bao?"

Lu Yichen smirked. "He's barely keeping his position in the Guo family. His father is furious about the scandal. His reputation has taken a hit, and the Guo family can't afford any more bad press."

Zi Ning wasn't surprised. Guo Bao had always relied on his family's power to get away with everything. But now, with the public against him, even his father wouldn't be able to protect him for long.

"He won't escape this either," Zi Ning said. "I'll make sure of it."

Lu Yichen reached over and gently took her hand. "You don't have to do everything alone anymore."

Zi Ning met his gaze and smiled softly.

She knew that.

But some things, she had to finish herself.

That evening, Wang Yin sat in the hotel lobby, scrolling through her contacts. There had to be someone left who could help her.

Anyone.

But every call went unanswered.

She was about to give up when a familiar name appeared on her screen.

Guo Bao.

Her heart pounded.

He had finally called her back.

With shaking hands, she answered. "Guo Bao! I knew you wouldn't abandon me!"

His voice was cold. "Wang Yin."

She swallowed. "Listen, I know things are bad right now, but we can fix this together. If we fight back—"

"There's no 'we,'" he interrupted. "You're on your own."

Wang Yin's blood ran cold. "No… Guo Bao, please! I did everything for you! I loved you! I—"

"You're useless to me now."

Tears welled up in her eyes. "You can't do this to me!"

"I already have."

The line went dead.

Wang Yin's breath came in short gasps. Her vision blurred.

Guo Bao had abandoned her.

She had nothing left.

A bitter laugh escaped her lips.

She had fought so hard to win.

And in the end, she had lost everything.

She staggered to her feet and walked out of the hotel into the cold night air.

No destination.

No future.

Nothing.

Zi Ning stood on the balcony of Lu Yichen's penthouse, staring at the city lights. The air was crisp, carrying the distant hum of traffic below.

Lu Yichen joined her, placing a warm hand on her back. "It's over."

Zi Ning nodded. "Yes. It is."

She had won.

She had reclaimed her name, her dignity, her place in the world.

And most importantly—

She had finally erased Wang Yin from her life.
