Lorenzo sat on the luxurious couch in his penthouse, a glass of whiskey in his hand, as he scrolled through the trending news on his phone. His lips curled into a smirk as he read through the comments, most of them speculating about his relationship with Silver. Some people were cheering them on, calling them the power couple of the century, while others doubted Silver would accept his advances so soon after her divorce.
It didn't matter.
She would accept him eventually.
Even if he had to take her to make it happen.
Lorenzo's fingers tapped idly against the side of his glass. Silver was different. A challenge. He wasn't used to women rejecting him, and yet, she continued to act like she was immune to his charm. He admired that about her. But admiration would only take her so far. If she refused to see reason, he wouldn't hesitate to take matters into his own hands.
Possession was a dangerous thing.
