Silver sighed, rubbing her temples as she stacked the last of her documents. The day had been long, and all she wanted was a moment of peace before she went home. When Henry knocked and stepped inside, she barely glanced at him.
"You didn't go for lunch with Lorenzo?" Henry asked, crossing his arms.
Silver scoffed, leaning back in her chair. "Of course not. We're already trending all over social media. If anyone saw us together again, it would just confirm whatever rumors they're spinning." She exhaled sharply, shaking her head. "I am not in the mood to have my life turned into a circus more than it already is."
Henry smirked. "So, you're worried about rumors now?"
Silver shot him a sharp look. "I don't care what people say, but I do care about my peace. Dating a man like Lorenzo would be like setting my life on fire. And I've had enough flames to last me a lifetime."
