Ryder sat in his sleek, modern office, the dim evening light casting shadows across the room. His fingers drummed against his desk as he reviewed the financial reports when his assistant knocked lightly before stepping inside.
"Sir, the Silver Fashion Company has approved our proposal. They want to schedule a meeting."
Ryder's fingers stilled. He lifted his gaze, a flicker of surprise crossing his face.
"Approved?" His voice was sharp, questioning.
The assistant nodded. "Yes, sir. After rejecting it weeks ago, they've now sent an official confirmation. They want to meet as soon as possible."
Ryder leaned back in his chair, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
