The morning sun streamed through the large glass windows of Silver's extravagant bedroom, casting a warm glow over the plush pink bedding. Silver stirred slightly when she heard someone calling her name, but she groaned and pulled the covers over her head. She wasn't ready to wake up yet.
"Silver, wake up," Noah's voice rang through the room, but she only buried herself deeper into the soft comforter.
Noah sighed in frustration, hands on his hips as he stared at the unmoving figure of Silver. He had been trying to wake her up for the past ten minutes, but she refused to budge.
"You have an appointment at the company today, remember?" he tried again, but all he got in response was a sleepy murmur that sounded suspiciously like, "Go away."
Noah narrowed his eyes. If she wouldn't wake up normally, then he had no choice.
