Noah watched as Silver blinked up at him, her delicate features twisted in confusion.
But then, to his immense relief, she smiled.
"I remember you," she said softly.

"Are Abraham and Natalie here too?" she asked. "What about Lucas Gray, Ethan Rivera, Adrian Scott, Daniel Frost, Leo Carter, Marcus Ray, Hunter Blake, and Vincent Cole? Are they all outside my ward?"

Not Cici.
Not Grandpa Cooper.
