Suddenly, Evelyn and James arrived at the doorway. Lily was right behind them, her expression filled with concern.
"What happened?" Evelyn asked, her voice sharp with worry. "Is she okay?"
Ryder didn't answer immediately.
Instead, he turned to Lily.
"You saw it first," he said, his voice dangerously calm. "Her hand. The blood. Do you know what happened?"
Lily hesitated, biting her lip.
She didn't want to betray Silver's secret, but at the same time…
"She… she broke a glass cup with her hand," Lily finally admitted, her voice low. "Earlier today."
Noah had sent the video and told her to keep an eye on Silver. She didn't know how or where the almighty Noah Centineo got her number but he did.
A heavy silence filled the room.
Ryder felt a strange chill run down his spine.
"She what?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Lily nodded. "She didn't even react when it cut her. She just… stood there. Quiet. Too quiet."
