"What are you doing? Aren't you going to take care of your uncle?" As Spider-Man had expected, Tohka didn't do anything to him. Instead, she found a very tall building and set him down. There were no people here, and no reporters. So, it was a perfect place for the two of them to talk, and neither of them was worried about how to leave.
"Ah, this is much better." After arriving, Peter Parker removed his hood and mask. He sighed in relief. It was uncomfortable wearing them, and as for his identity, he had already guessed that Tohka knew about it, so he didn't bother hiding it.
"Well, I have to thank Harry for that. He found someone to look after my Uncle Ben, and Aunt May is also there. Plus, Uncle Ben is out of danger now. Although he'll still be in the hospital for quite a while, so I don't need to stay there with them anymore." Upon seeing Tohka, Peter Parker immediately excitedly shared the news she had asked about. Then, he did something that surprised Tohka, as he pulled out a piece of paper and a pen from his clothes. "Can you sign an autograph for me?"
"...."
And just like that, Tohka gave her first autograph to a fan, though she was looking at Spider-Man with a face full of disdain. She couldn't help but think that ever since Peter Parker gained his spider powers, he had become a completely different person—more... shy and reserved.
"Ah, hahahaha. Don't be like that. You're a celebrity at school now. I heard from Harry that everyone is talking about you, and if you went over there, you might get surrounded." Feeling a bit embarrassed from Tohka's gaze, Spider-Man awkwardly scratched the back of his head. "You saw it yourself; I have my own powers now. Honestly, I really admire you. If I had been in those two battles, I probably would've made a mess of things."
Spider-Man wasn't lying here. He had just taken his first steps, and since Uncle Ben didn't die, he didn't have that much resolve yet. He probably wasn't even as capable as the latest Spider-Man from the Homecoming movie, so of course, he would be helpless against a monster of Hulk's level.
"But I've noticed that you've been catching car thieves. Are you trying to find that one car thief?" At that moment, Tohka was looking at Peter Parker's records and realized that this guy had been catching car thieves for the past couple of days.
"Yeah." After hearing Tohka's words, Spider-Man's originally cheerful expression disappeared, replaced by a somber look. "You know, my parents disappeared when I was very young. I've always been with Uncle Ben and the others. If it weren't for you, I might have lost Uncle Ben for real. So, I'll definitely find the killer and bring him to justice. You see, over these past few days, Uncle Ben has been guiding me to be a responsible person. It's because of him that I've decided to walk this path."
Spider-Man truly appreciated Tohka for this, because he had a feeling that if she hadn't been there, he would have lost his uncle forever.
"Yeah." After hearing Spider-Man's words, Tohka nodded. It seemed that Uncle Ben had already discovered Peter Parker's powers, and now, even though he was bedridden, he still had to guide his nephew.
"By the way, don't you have a title? Also, do you really plan to wear this suit forever? You know, when facing powerful enemies, this suit will really affect your performance." After all, almost every superhero has a title, and even Tohka isn't an exception. The media seemed to unanimously call her "Princess," but Tohka didn't mind. At least it wasn't something like "Ripped Suit Hero." She wasn't a Saint Seiya character, so how could she be one of those whose power increases when their suit gets torn?
"Well, I guess I'll go by Spider-Man. This suit is temporary, though." After hearing Tohka's words, Peter Parker thought for a moment and then said the title. As for the suit, he was a bit helpless, since he hadn't had time to make a proper one.
"Forget it, I'll help you out." After thinking for a moment, Tohka decided to lend a hand. She had always liked Spider-Man as one of the most pure heroes in her previous life. In this world, he was one of her few friends. "Jarvis, help me contact Tony and see where he is." So, Tohka decided to contact Tony and introduce him to Spider-Man. As for whether Tony would mentor Spider-Man, Tohka wasn't expecting much. After all, Tony hadn't experienced enough, and although he was better than before, he wasn't quite there yet to be a proper mentor. If he ended up mentoring Spider-Man, who knew what kind of guidance he'd offer? Of course, in Tohka's opinion, Nick Fury would be the best mentor for Spider-Man, especially since he had mentioned that the world was becoming increasingly unstable, and he lacked the necessary manpower to deal with super-powered criminals.
"Oh, what's up? You suddenly contact me. Also, I know what you did in New Mexico. I heard you even went to space. Did you make any special discoveries?" Sure enough, when Tohka opened the conversation, Tony immediately asked about her previous encounter. It was clear that having contact with aliens was something that made Tony incredibly jealous. As a scientist, such an opportunity was truly rare.
"Yeah, it's alright. By the way, what are you up to?" Startled by Tony's enthusiasm, Tohka could only give an awkward smile. However, she quickly noticed that Tony was wearing a white lab coat, completely different from his usual attire.
"By the way, do you remember that guy in the red tight suit and the arm he left behind when he left?"
"Don't mention that, I want to throw up." Upon hearing this, Tohka felt a bit disgusted. She had almost picked that thing up back then.
"That guy is truly amazing." Ignoring Tohka's expression, Tony looked astonished. "He has two kinds of factors inside him, one is an alien mutation healing factor, and the other is cancer. These two things form a perfect balance inside him, and if either is lost, he will die. Unfortunately, I'm not very skilled in biology, so I can only know this much."
"Alright, alright, let's drop it. I need your help with something for a friend of mine." Tohka looked at Tony helplessly. She wasn't here to discuss Deadpool's cells with him.
