Chapter 50 - Untitled

"As for the hammer? Hmm, yes, that was me."

Tokisaki showed no surprise that Thor had recognized her. After all, when she forcibly tamed the power of the God of Thunder earlier, it would have been strange if Thor, the rightful owner, hadn't noticed.

"Really?" After hearing Tohka's words, Thor looked at her thoughtfully. He could sense that the power within Tohka was very similar to the power in his own system, but still different. Not to mention Tohka's strength, but that power was causing a bit of blockage to his own thunder god's power. At the same time, he didn't sense any malice from Tohka.

"Catch!" At that moment, Thor did something that surprised everyone. He actually threw the hammer to Tohka, though not as an attack to hit her, but as if handing over an object to someone.

"Ah!" Clearly, Tohka was startled by this guy. She hadn't expected him to suddenly throw his weapon at her. But Tohka instinctively caught it. Soon, she realized that this time, the Mjolnir wasn't that heavy. No, it was incredibly light. As she twirled the hammer like Thor, the hidden power of the God of Thunder began to stir, causing the winds and lightning around her to shift.

"Okay, here you go." After playing with it for a bit, Tohka felt that the hammer wasn't right for her. Losing interest, she handed it back to Thor. However, at this moment, Thor's expression became incredibly interesting, essentially looking like he had eaten something unpleasant.

He had expected Tohka to be able to lift the hammer, but he hadn't anticipated that she could directly tap into the power of wind and thunder. This wasn't the worst part; what really frustrated him was that the God of Thunder's power seemed to obey Tohka so easily.

"Uh, are you all okay?" Seeing Thor with a look of disgust and the four warriors of Asgard (cannon fodder) stunned, especially Thor's four subordinates, who looked like they were about to drool, Tohka couldn't help but feel confused. Why were they reacting so exaggeratedly? She hadn't done anything, so why did they all look like they had seen a ghost? Aren't you Gods, immortal creatures with years of experience? Look at those Earthlings; they're so calm. Stop acting like country bumpkins.

However, at this moment, the sound of an engine roared. Then, a black sedan drove through the chaotic streets and stopped in front of the group. Of course, several white cars followed, and a few agents jumped out. However, they didn't approach; instead, they quickly sealed off the area. There was no need for this though; after the recent battle, everyone had either run away or was hiding in basements, too scared to come out.

"What a great battle. And I didn't expect you to be the Legendary God." Getting out of the car, Coulson smiled as he looked at the scorched streets and the oddly dressed people, walking up to Thor, the God of Thunder.

"Hello there. Last time I came to pick up this girl, I didn't get a chance to talk. I didn't expect that by the time I returned, you'd already be gone. Looks like you have quite the background." Needless to say, Coulson's charisma was definitely the strongest in S.H.I.E.L.D. Coupled with his friendly tone and chubby smile, Thor couldn't help but feel unable to show any hostility.

"In the future, I..." Thor's negotiation skills were still impressive for a future heir to the throne. At least when facing Coulson, he easily got all the equipment back for his girlfriend, Jane Foster. Of course, it was also because Coulson didn't want to offend Asgard.

Of course, Tohka had no interest in these matters. She turned her attention to the Destroyer armor, which had now been destroyed into pieces by Thor. However, Tohka didn't underestimate it. After all, this armor was created by Odin to fight the Cosmic Pantheon. If it could be destroyed by Thor's hammer, Tohka wouldn't believe it, no matter what. Sure enough, as Tohka approached, she noticed that the divine power within the armor hadn't dissipated; in fact, it was still incredibly strong. Of course, it was in a dormant state right now, and Tohka certainly didn't want to wake it up. If she couldn't handle it, she'd be in trouble. And if she really destroyed it, Odin might come after her for retribution.

"Miss Tohka, I'll repay you in the future, but I must leave now." At that moment, Thor, with his girlfriend Jane Foster, flew off. As for where they were going, it was definitely the place they had reached via the Bifrost. Only from there could they directly reach Asgard; otherwise, they'd be stuck on a space journey that would take forever.

"What's wrong, Tohka? Aren't you coming with us?" Seeing Tohka lying there, studying the Destroyer armor, Coulson called out to her to join them.

"Yeah, forget it. I won't look anymore. Wait for me." This thing might inspire Tony, but for Tohka... to her, it was just a pile of junk imbued with divine power. She really couldn't make anything of it. As for taking it, she thought better of it. Otherwise, once this was all over, Thor—or possibly even Odin—might just come knocking. That would be a problem, so she chose to leave and walked off with Coulson.

As everyone left, the fragments of the armor slowly gathered up into a magical array in the eyes of the agents left behind to handle the scene. Of course, even the agents, being ordinary people, had no way of dealing with such a situation.

"Tohka, the armor has disappeared. I saw you studying it earlier. Did you notice anything?" Sure enough, in the car, Coulson received the report and turned to Tohka. After all, this was great material. If they could bring it back to study, it could help them understand Asgard's weapons. But now, Tohka was the only one who had come into contact with the armor, so he had to hope she could provide them with some useful information.

"Yeah, that armor is valuable, but it's useless." Without thinking, Tohka immediately shared her previous conclusion.

"..."

However, after hearing this, Coulson decided to focus on driving. He realized he had been foolish to ask Tohka that question. While the armor was indeed valuable—after all, there was nothing like it on Earth—it was useless. It had no use for Tohka, at least based on observation. But the real issue was, could she give them any useful information?
