"Have they started fighting? Never mind, let's not intervene yet." When Tohka sensed the situation, she realized they had already started fighting the Destroyer. But unfortunately, the four warriors of Asgard were just four high-level cannon fodder. After one exchange, they were knocked down, and as for Thor, he was still an ordinary man.
Soon, everyone was being chased around by this thing. Seeing this, Tohka frowned: "If I knew this was Odin's test, I wouldn't have acted... Forget it, I'll wait until Thor has this realization."
Having made up her mind, Tohka quietly landed and hid on a rooftop, starting to observe the situation without intending to intervene directly. Sure enough, everything unfolded just like in the movies: everyone was being chased around by the Destroyer armor. In the end, Thor took a hit head-on and was knocked down.
"It's time to make my move." Seeing this, Tohka decided to stop hiding. She threw her greatsword toward the Destroyer armor. The others, seeing Thor being hit, rushed toward him. But at that moment, a huge sword fell from the sky and slammed into the Destroyer's steel body, creating a shockwave. Then, a girl in purple armor, like a dream, descended from the sky, kicked the Destroyer armor, sending it stumbling backward, and pulled the greatsword from it. Immediately after, as she swung the sword, several large sword qi slashed through the Destroyer's body, leaving multiple holes.
"Who is that person?" The sudden appearance of Tohka startled Thor's subordinates. To be honest, it was the first time they had seen such a strong human. This was a common misconception in Asgard: in their eyes, Earthlings should be weak and powerless.
"Tohka, the young lady of the Stark family. I saw her in the newspaper this morning." Unlike other superheroes, Tohka and Tony hadn't hidden their identities, so everyone recognized her immediately.
"This guy really isn't so easy to deal with. This is a hassle." Tohka wasn't concerned with what the others thought. She was now standing in front of the Destroyer armor. The large holes she made earlier were slowly starting to heal, and then, under Loki's control, a beam of light shot toward Tohka.
"Get out of here, don't cause trouble!" With a few people still around, Tohka knew she couldn't just ignore it. If Thor and Jane Foster were killed in an explosion, things would get serious. One of them was the God of Thunder, and the other was the future vessel of the Aether particle, one of the Infinity Stones.
This thing... However, unlike the previous weapon attacks, the Destroyer's beam of light made Tohka feel real pressure for the first time. Not only did a crack appear in her energy shield, but she was also pushed back. But that was all. Tohka stomped one foot backward to stabilize herself and increased her energy output, causing the crack in the shield to quickly heal.
"Bad, we can't move him." After hearing Tohka's words, a few people hurriedly tried to lift Thor and move him elsewhere. But no matter how hard they tried, Thor remained completely still.
"Yeah." At the same time, feeling the rapidly increasing energy behind her, Tohka turned around and noticed Thor's power was quickly returning: "Get away from him, this guy's power is about to recover."
As soon as Tohka spoke, everyone hurriedly backed away. At that moment, a hammer fell from the sky and was steadily caught by Thor, who was lying on the ground. Then, the sky once again thundered and flashed, and a thick blue bolt of lightning descended from the heavens and struck Thor.
At this sight, both Tohka, who was resisting the attack, and Loki, controlling the Destroyer armor, instinctively stopped their actions. The two of them just stood there, staring at Thor being struck by lightning, and then saw armor slowly form around him. Finally, a deep crimson cape appeared as the God of Thunder fully armed himself.
"Ah, it looks like I'm not your opponent." Seeing this, Tohka smiled at the Destroyer, then jumped backward and landed in front of the others, leaving Thor to face the Destroyer. Just as Tohka expected, Loki lost interest in her as soon as he saw his dear brother, and the head of the armor once again flared with fiery light, clearly preparing to attack Thor with the ray again.
However, this time the God of Thunder was no longer an ordinary man. With a powerful swing of his hammer, he sent the ray flying. Then, he flew into the air, narrowly avoiding the second ray that followed. Next, Thor began spinning his hammer in the air.
At this moment, Tohka clearly felt the energy in the entire space begin to surge with Thor's movements. The dark clouds quickly spread across the sky, and the people around her watched in shock, while Tohka, from behind, muttered, "How many times is this now? Do these dark clouds cost nothing? Also, Thor, are you showing off? I know you can summon wind and rain, using the forces of nature, but you're just showing off now. Really, a single blow could have solved this, why make it so complicated?"
Tohka silently complained from behind, and the others had no idea. Just then, Thor used the pull of the clouds to physically drag the massive Destroyer armor into the air. After casually deflecting a few attacks, he slammed the Destroyer armor back down from the sky. When it hit the ground, the armor completely lost all movement, looking utterly destroyed.
In response to this, Tohka stared at the scene with a deadpan expression. She was sure that this attack was nowhere near as strong as her Hundred-Step Flying Sword. But when she attacked it, the armor had been able to recover; Thor's attack had completely drained it. Tohka was sure Odin had something to do with it, otherwise, the armor wouldn't be so weak. However, she didn't say anything and instead turned her gaze toward Thor and Jane Foster, who were hugging each other.
"Thank you, miss. And were you the one who almost lifted the hammer earlier?" After seeing Tohka, Thor took initiative extended his thanks. No matter what, Tohka had saved them. What they didn't know was that Loki had intended to stop after knocking Thor away and hadn't planned on killing them. As for the subsequent battle, that was purely Tohka's own doing—after all, Loki, being naturally proud, wouldn't have just let himself be attacked without retaliation.
"That's fine, I just happened to arrive." Of course, Tohka wouldn't say that aloud.
