Chapter 51 - Meeting Odin

"...."

Coulson, caught off guard by Tohka, clearly didn't plan to ask these questions anymore. Now, he really regretted not bringing Tony over. After all, he wasn't Tohka, and with his abilities, he could have probably identified some key technologies from the situation. After all, this was something entirely outside Earth's system.

At that moment, the group finally arrived at the place where Thor was sitting. He was there with Jane, summoning Heimdall to open the Bifrost. Unfortunately, because of Loki, Heimdall's condition didn't seem great, and he hadn't immediately opened the Bifrost.

"Yeah, it seems like you've got a problem over there." As for whether Loki's actions had truly trapped Heimdall or if he was just following Odin's orders to act along with Loki, Tohka didn't know. However, she couldn't help but admire Loki's cunning. He actually dared to joke with his life. After all, if Loki had gone mad and failed to kill that Frost Giant, it would have been a joke.

"Yeah, seems like there's trouble. Heimdall, are you there? Answer quickly!" After responding to Tohka, Thor continued shouting. He knew Heimdall had the ability of far-seeing and far-hearing, so as long as he was there, he would surely hear him.

However, with Thor's call, the Bifrost finally appeared again. At the same time, this informed Thor that Asgard had a new crisis. So, this time, Thor didn't allow Jane to go with him, and instead took a few of his subordinates directly back to Asgard. As for Tohka, she didn't take the initiative to help. After all, this was a matter between the two brothers, full of love and rivalry, and Tohka didn't want to get involved.

Of course, Thor didn't invite Tohka either. As the heir to the throne of Asgard and Odin's eldest son, he had his own pride. Though Odin had sent him here to train, it didn't mean he should forget that pride. Otherwise, Thor would never be able to rule Asgard in the future.

"He's gone. Are you leaving too?" Seeing Jane standing alone, Tohka walked over to her and asked. She knew that Jane and Thor's relationship would definitely face some bumps in the future. However, if she remembered correctly, in the universe of wholehearted devotion, Jane seemed to inherit Thor's role and became the new female God of Thunder. Of course, Tohka was just thinking about it because of the complicated setup... it's just too frustrating.

"No, I'm going to wait for him to return." As expected, Jane didn't choose to leave, but instead decided to stay and wait for the person she loved. Of course, Tohka also didn't leave but chose to stay with Coulson.

Coulson stayed to have further negotiations with Thor. After all, this was humanity's first known contact with extraterrestrials, and they were ancient gods.

As for Tohka, she was simply staying here based on her intuition. She felt that Thor wouldn't be like in the original story and not return, and that he would return for her. Why? There was no reason, just a woman's (foolish) intuition.

Time passed slowly, and eventually, bored, Tohka just sat in Coulson's car and yawned. Coulson and Jane continued to stand on the remains of the teleportation circle, still waiting. After all, one was waiting for her loved one, and the other had been professionally trained to be patient.

Just as Tohka was dozing off, a sudden surge of energy woke her up. She opened her eyes and saw Thor, clad in a red cape, appearing in the midst of the energy shockwave. He then swiftly pulled Jane into his arms. But next, he walked over toward Tohka, who had been dozing in the car and was now awakened by the energy surge.

"Could you come with me? My father wants to meet you." Looking at Tohka, who was still groggy, Thor couldn't believe that the King of Asgard himself wanted to meet her. And he said it with such a serious tone, something Thor had never experienced before in all these years.

"No, you must give a reason." After hearing Thor's words, Coulson immediately stepped forward to stop him. After all, Tohka was still the strongest known force in S.H.I.E.L.D. If something happened to her while going back with Thor, it wouldn't just be Fury who would have a problem—Tony would be furious as well. After all, Tohka had saved Tony multiple times and helped him out quite a bit.

"Don't worry, if my father ever wants to harm Tohka, I'll risk my life to get her out." Hearing Coulson's concerns, Thor understood what he was worried about and immediately pounded his chest, reassuring him. After all, Tohka had just saved them once, and it wouldn't make sense, either emotionally or logically, to go back on that now.

"This..."

"Wait, I'll go with you." Before Coulson could say anything else, Tohka stood up on her own. She had always felt a connection to Asgard, something she had sensed when interacting with a few people before. Additionally, she realized that the difficulty she experienced when lifting Mjolnir was because it contained Odin's divine power. And it was Odin who had stopped her—he was the one causing Mjolnir to resist her, either testing her or trying to stop her.

"Alright, come with me. Also, be sure to protect yourself." After hearing Tohka's words, Thor stood with her and then turned to Jane, saying: "Sorry, but because the Bifrost was destroyed, the passage between Earth and Asgard has been temporarily blocked. We're using another method now, but there will be a huge energy storm soon, and I won't be able to protect you. Also, I've been ordered by my father to take Tohka back. We can't stay here too long."

"It's fine, go ahead." After hearing Thor's words, Jane, though a bit disappointed, nodded.

"Alright, let's go. Heimdall, please help us out." At that moment, Thor shouted to the sky. Then, a magical array appeared beneath their feet, and Tohka quickly used her own spiritual energy to protect herself. As the array appeared, Tohka felt a noisy energy storm. If it were an ordinary person, they would have been torn to pieces by now.

Then, after a wave of energy, the two disappeared from their original spot.

When Tohka opened her eyes again, she found herself in a dazzling palace. She never expected that Thor would take her directly to the palace. Looking around at the surrounding architecture, Tohka saw Odin sitting on the throne.

However, Odin didn't wait for her to greet him. Instead, he directly said something that sent a chill down Tohka's spine.

"Which point of the Kabbalah Tree are you?"
