Michael's car came to a sudden halt before the mansion. Enraged and mortified at the same time, he exited the car and rushed inside the mansion. Thankfully, Frank managed to take her to the clinic in time. If she had lost a little more blood, things could have turned out to be grave.
"Michael…" Frank paused seeing his darkened expression. When he set foot into the mansion, the air suddenly grew thick and everyone found it difficult to even breathe.
He came to sit beside Layla and noticed her fresh wound close to her wrist. Her face looked so pale and her body couldn't even draw in the blood from the pouches. Michael closed the gap and even checked if the IV was working well or not.
"When did this happen?" He turned his head to face the whole gathering of maids, and guards; in them, Anna, Nana, and Frank were also present. None of them had the nerve to open their mouths other than Anna and Frank.
