Michael entered the room with heavy steps. Just a few moments back, he ended up scolding Nana like never. Nana was genuinely worried for Michael and he did appreciate her concern regarding the matter but he would not tolerate Nana confronting Layla just for a few tragic events.
Layla on the other hand was feeling heady after taking the pills. She heard every detail of the conversation that transpired between Michael and Nana. Opening her eyes, she put on a smile as she meekly tapped on the space beside her bed, her eyes looking intently at her Master.
However, the smile died down too soon when she noticed him turning his back as he advanced towards the door. Layla felt her heart squeeze at the sight of it. She was weak as she lost a significant amount of blood. Forget walking, she was not even allowed to move from the bed.
