"Tatsuya, are you alright?"
Aina's concerned voice echoed in her son's ears, her words laced with a mix of relief and worry. Tatsuya's chakra had seemingly calmed down, but the aura surrounding him still sent a shiver down the spines of those around him. It was an unsettling feeling, one that a five-year-old child shouldn't be capable of emitting.
Tatsuya, now partially conscious, responded with his eyes still closed, his voice strained and barely above a whisper. A weak chuckle escaped his lips, "I think I'm good... Who knew opening chakra pathways would be such a disaster... Hihi."
The sound of his fragile laughter sent a wave of relief through the group.
Akira and Aina exchanged a worried glance, their faces etched with concern. The other residents, who had been holding their collective breath, slowly began to calm down. Akira, trying to keep his voice steady, asked, "Can you control the dense chakra you're releasing, and why aren't you opening your eyelids?"
Tatsuya's response was laced with a hint of frustration, "Give me some time, Grandpa... I'm not actually able to control anything right now, everything seems to be working on its own." His voice was still restrained, a testament to the turmoil raging within him.
Aina shot Akira a warning glance, her eyes flashing with a mix of worry and protectiveness. "Don't question him, keep quiet," she scolded, her focus solely on her son as she continued to try and help him chakra calm down.
Mito, still visibly shaken, clung to her mother's clothes, her eyes fixed on Tatsuya's frame. The heavy fumes of blue chakra still clung to him, casting an eerie glow around his small body. The aura surrounding him was terrifying, and Mito couldn't help but feel a deep-seated fear as she gazed at her friend.
Slowly but surely, Tatsuya began to regain control of his body, though his eyes remained stubbornly shut. He could now harness the chakra that had been pouring out of him unchecked, his pores no longer leaking the vibrant blue energy.
"I think I'm able to move now," Tatsuya informed Aina, his voice still laced with a hint of strain. Aina's gaze remained fixed on her son, her eyes searching for any signs of improvement.
"That's good, but what about your eyes?" she asked, her brow furrowed with concern. Tatsuya's eyelids remained closed, the dense chakra still swirling around them like a vortex.Everyone could still clearly see the dense pressure radiating from whatever was present behind those closed eyelids.
Tatsuya didn't respond, his focus solely on trying to reclaim control of his vision. He attempted to open them, but it was as if an invisible force was holding them shut. The darkness surrounding him was oppressive, and a growing sense of unease began to creep in.
But Tatsuya persisted, his determination slowly paying off. His eyes began to stir, the chakra surrounding them starting to dissipate, though it seemed more like that control was being given to him rather being taken by him.
As Akira, Aina, Mito, and her guardians watched, a collective shiver ran down their spines. The air seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly energy, and the hairs on the back of their necks stood on end.
Tatsuya's eyes flickered open, and the group was met with a sight that made their blood run cold. His eyes seemed to shift and change, like the shadows on a moonlit night.
One moment, they were a deep, foreboding blue, like the abyssal depths of the ocean. The next, they were a pure, snowy white, the surrounding sclera turning a deep, inky black.
The weather seemed to reflect the unease that settled over the group, the dark clouds gathering above like a specter of doom.
Though Akira, Aina, and the Grandelder were all battle-hardened war veterans, the same couldn't be said for Mito and her parents, who were members of the Sealing Force, far removed from the continuous warfare ravaging the Warring States.
As Tatsuya's eyes continued to shift and change, they felt an intense, crushing pressure emanating from him, as if the very air around them had grown thick and heavy.
Mito's parents became a bit stiff, their bodies frozen in place, their breaths rugged as they started to struggle little bit to breathe, though their bodies quickly became accustomed to it.
Mito, however, was in an even more precarious state. She fell to her knees, her eyes rolling back in her head as she lost consciousness, collapsing onto the ground with a soft thud.
The unified voice of the three war veterans echoed through the air, their faces pale with shock.
"""WHAT THE HELL???""", they exclaimed in unison.
The Grandelder's voice was barely above a whisper, his words laced with a mix of awe and trepidation. "How can a child, who has neither participated in battle nor stained his hands with blood, release such pure terrifying INTENT?".
His eyes remained fixed on Tatsuya, his gaze a filled with fascination and the unexpected anomaly taking place in front of him.
In the world of ninjas, "Intent" was a mysterious, spiritual force that was intertwined with chakra and fueled by emotion. Chakra itself was a combination of spiritual and physical energy.
Intent, on the other hand, was a mind force or conscious energy that was formed by a delicate balance of spiritual and physical energy, with a ratio of 2:1, respectively.
Only those who had faced the harsh realities of battle, who had walked the thin line between life and death, could tap into and control this elusive force. There were three known types of Intent:
The first was Pure Intent, a raw and unrefined energy that often signaled its wielder's awakening to this power or served as a warning to others. This was what Tatsuya was releasing currently.
The second was Innocuous Intent, also known as Peaceful Intent. This rare and subtle energy could only be released by those who genuinely harbored no desire to harm others and possessed exceptional control over their Intent. This intent was the hardest to master and it's true practice remains unknown.
The third, and most feared, was Killing Intent. This dark and malevolent energy was the domain of those who had taken countless lives, and its presence could cause even the strongest-willed individuals to falter, succumbing to darkness or suffocation.Usuallly it only either affects newbies ,those who haven't experienced war, or those who haven't trained their minds to a suitable level.
This was the same Killing Intent that Zabuza had unleashed upon Team 7 during the fateful events of the Land of Waves arc.
As the minutes ticked by, the flickering of Tatsuya's eyes finally subsided, and his iris settled back into its original blue hue , the white pupils and black sclera no where to be seen.
This transformation marked the cessation of the Pure Intent that had been emanating from him, casting a palpable sense of relief over the gathered group.
However, as they gazed into Tatsuya's now-stable eyes, they couldn't shake off the feeling that something was fundamentally different.
His blue eyes seemed to have deepened in color, shining with an unsettling brilliance that sent a shiver down the spines of those who dared to meet his gaze for long period. The chill that radiated from his eyes was unnerving, leaving an unspoken sense of trepidation in the air.
"I feel pretty light," Tatsuya muttered to himself, his voice barely above a whisper, yet audible to everyone present. He stood up, a look of curiosity on his face, and then, in a movement that defied expectations, he jumped into the air.
The group watched in stunned silence as Tatsuya soared an astonishing ten meters into the sky. It wasn't that the feat itself was impossible for a shinobi, but for a five-year-old who had only just opened his chakra pathways, it was unprecedented.
Aina scrambled to her feet, her eyes fixed on her son as he began to fall back down. She rushed forward, catching Tatsuya in mid-air and pulling him into a tight hug. "Are you okay, boy? Does it hurt anywhere? Do you feel suffocated?" she fired off a barrage of questions, not giving him a chance to respond.
Akira's face creased into a wry smile, relief etched on his features as he realized that, against all odds, nothing catastrophic had occurred.
Mito, who had been lying unconscious in her mother's arms, began to stir, slowly regaining her senses as she took in the scene unfolding before her..
