Chapter 19 - Awakening

[A/n:- That was a long break, forgive me for that 😅😅. Though I can't exactly promise this won't happen again.

A question... What type of doujutsu would you prefer that Tatsuya have.

1) Jougan(pure eyes) ( honestly not much is know about it even in wiki)

2) Shizen'na me gan (Natural eyes) [ This was what I was originally thinking to let Tatsuya have. An original dojutsu]]

The dining room was filled with the sound of clinking utensils and lively chatter as the family gathered for a meal together. Mito's mom, with a playful smirk on her face, asked her daughter, "Hihi, Mito, why do you tease and make fun of Tatsuya so much, huh?"

Mito, anticipating a lengthy and embarrassing conversation, quickly rejected the interrogation. "I don't, humph!" she said, her face scrunched in defiance.

The room erupted in chuckles and laughter as everyone continued eating. Tatsuya, now old enough to feed himself, carefully avoided sitting on his mother's lap, knowing that Mito would never let him hear the end of it.

As they ate, the group engaged in light conversation, with Mito and Tatsuya often becoming the focal point of jokes.

However, the atmosphere quickly shifted when Mito let out a small shriek. "Uhhh, ma... I can't breathe!" she barely managed to say.

The room fell silent, with all eyes on Mito except for one. A faint clattering sound of spoon falling followed her cry, and instinctively, everyone turned to look at Tatsuya. He sat frozen on his seat, his face contorted in pain, as a dense blue layer of chakra began to envelop his skin, which was visible to everyone present in the room.

As Tatsuya's condition rapidly deteriorated, the air around him began to vibrate with an eerie, electric tension. His small body stiffened, his eyes glazing over as he struggled to cope with the sudden influx of chakra.

Aina's instincts kicked in, and she swiftly rushed to her son's side, followed closely by Akira. Tatsuya's grandfather looked on, concern etched on his face, as he took in his grandson's distress.

Before anyone could ask what was happening, Aina scooped up Tatsuya and bolted outside. As they left, the others noticed a significant decrease in the chakra present in the dining room, leaving them with a sense of unease and worry.

Mito's sensitive childlike senses had picked up on the subtle fluctuations in the surrounding chakra, her eyes widening as she felt the energy levels plummet. It was due to this she had felt hard to breathe.

Though the others had noticed it too, they barely gave it a second thought, dismissing it as a minor anomaly.

The moment they emerged into the open air, Aina placed her hands on Tatsuya's back, pouring her own chakra into him in a desperate bid to regulate the wild fluctuations coursing through his tiny body.

As of now even if someone was half blind, they could still see and sense that something very irregular was going on here.

The sky, once a brilliant blue, had transformed into a deep, foreboding grey, with clouds that seemed to twist and writhe like living things. The air was heavy with electricity, and the hairs on the back of Aina's neck stood on end as she fought to keep her son's chakra in check.

The surrounding chakra clung to Tatsuya's body like a shroud, some of it seeping inside to reach his delicate chakra pathways. Aina's heart racing with fear, she tightened her grip on her son, her eyes locked on his pale face.

If she hadn't been there to intervene, the consequences would have been catastrophic. Even now, Tatsuya's small body shuddered with the force of the chakra, threatening to overwhelm him at any moment.

As Aina struggled to stabilize Tatsuya's chakra, the other occupants of the house emerged into the open, their faces etched with worry. Akira's eyes locked onto his daughter, his brow furrowed in concern.

"Aina, even you're not able to completely guide his chakra... Will he be okay?" Akira asked, his voice laced with anxiety.

Aina's face remained grim, her eyes fixed intently on her son. "It's alright, Dad. I had a feeling this would happen. His chakra pathways have opened on their own, without any external interference."

Akira's expression turned skeptical. "But you're not regulating the chakra in his heart, brain, and eyes... Why is that? Sensing it from here, it seems like those areas need even more help."

Aina's hands moved swiftly, her fingers weaving intricate patterns as she tried to coax Tatsuya's chakra into submission. "Something is blocking me from guiding the chakra in those organs.Even now it's as if his body is undergoing some kind of metamorphosis... His chakra levels are already equivalent to a C-rank ninja, and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon."

The group exchanged shocked glances, their faces pale with concern. The clouds above seemed to be growing darker by the minute, the air thick with electricity. Lightning struck down nearby, casting an eerie glow over the scene.

The atmosphere was heavy with tension, the only sound the distant rumble of thunder and Tatsuya's labored breathing. Aina's eyes never left her son's face, her expression a mask of determination as she fought to save him from the turmoil raging within his body.

[Tatsuya's pov]

I felt like I was being consumed by an unrelenting swarm of ants, their tiny legs crawling relentlessly across my skin. Someone was trying to help me, to calm the chaos raging within me, but their efforts only seemed to scratch the surface.

The sensation was unbearable, especially near my chest and head, where it felt like my pores were opening, unleashing a torrent of sensations that threatened to overwhelm me.

My body temperature skyrocketed, and I felt like I was burning from the inside out. But the pain, the discomfort, and the disgust weren't even the worst of it. It was the crushing urge that threatened to suffocate me, the feeling that I was full to bursting, but still, the air kept pouring in, refusing to let me catch my breath.

The whole ordeal felt like an eternity, but in reality, it had only lasted a few minutes. And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, everything stopped. I found myself transported to a strange, serene realm.

I floated in a clear, light blue space, surrounded by a checkered pattern of white and blue hues. The room was silent, devoid of even the faintest whisper of air. And I... I wasn't even sure if I was still in my body. It felt like only my consciousness existed in this place, untethered from the physical world.

As I struggled to stabilize myself, I realized that I was gazing up at the ceiling, my awareness slowly coalescing into a sense of self. But where was I? And how did I get here?

As I struggled to steady myself, my gaze darted around the unfamiliar space, flickering towards the eerie, white eyeballs encased in the white and blue checkered patterns. The air seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly energy, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.

Taking a tentative step forward, I was hit with an instinctual wave of fear that seemed to seep into every pore of my being. It was as if my very soul was etched with terror, warning me to flee from this realm.

For a fleeting moment, I wondered if I had died, but I quickly pushed the thought aside, refusing to give in to the fear that threatened to consume me.

Summoning a fragile sense of courage, I took another step forward. That's when the white eyes, all of them, turned to gaze at me.

Their collective stare was like a cold wind that passed through me, leaving me shivering. But in response, a dark, protective light emerged from within me, shielding me from the piercing gazes.

" A Threat?? "

A deep voice resounded though it didn't reach Tatsuya's ears.

Before I could even process what was happening, my spirit vanished from that spot, and the familiar tingling sensation returned, though it was significantly weaker now.

The discomfort slowly dissipated, and within a minute or two, everything returned to normal. I was back in my own body, gasping for air, as if I had been underwater for too long.

A starined voice sounded behind me, as the discomfort of previously lingering on my body decreased to a non existent level, " Tatsuya are you alright ?".
