The bathroom smelled of perfume and urine.
Regina stood in front of the full-length mirror, her chest heaving beneath the snug, silk bodice of her silk gown. Her nipples were still hard, aching and pressing against the inside of her dress, even as her breathing slowed. She pressed a palm against her chest, as if that could settle the erratic drum of her heart. But all she could feel was the lingering ghost of Daniel's touch, his warm mouth, his fingers, the way he had palmed her breast like he owned it, teased her until her body responded against her will.
She hated him for knowing her so well. Hated herself more for wanting it.
Her left hand trembled as she reached for the compact in her clutch. Lipstick. Powder.
She needed control. She reapplied with quickly but no amount of touch-up could erase what had just happened.
