Her eyes snapped open to the sound of Daniel's voice. It wasn't the soothing drawl that made her cum or aroused her. This was cold, sharp and clipped.
Something was wrong. Very wrong
"I said I don't care, Evan. I need her shares scrubbed off my company."
Regina's body jolted awake, her senses slowly coming back from the haze of sleep. Her mind was foggy.
She pushed herself up on her elbow, her head still heavy as she looked over at Daniel. He was standing near the window, his phone pressed tightly to his ear, a frown furrowing his brow. His chest was bare, his jaw tight as if he'd been grinding his teeth all night.
His voice cut through the air again, "I don't give a damn if it was strategic. She's not me. She doesn't make decisions about my company without clearing them with me first."
She rubbed her eyes, trying to focus as she spoke up. "What are you talking about? It's barely morning." Her voice was raspy, disoriented from sleep.
