We snuck past the guards outside the Gala hall through the kitchen. The boy in front of me was mischievous and had a knack for finding the most ridiculous solution to the most mundane scenario.
Case in point, he determined that the best way we could get past the beta guard stationed in the kitchen was to coat ourselves in smelly leftover pudding we found in the kitchen sink.
"Is this really necessary?" I asked him, as I took a handful and rubbed on my neck.
"No" He answered with a grin "Just very funny to watch"
"Eww. Gross!"
We crept past the rows of wooden counters, the air was thick with the smell of freshly baked bread, Jack motioned for me to stop. We stopped in front of a large door.
Jack turned to me, his eyes sparkling with excitement "Eggs" he whispered, pushing the door open. "Eggs, Princess"
Inside, we found a treasure trove of eggs, both white and brown.
I had never seen so many crates of eggs in my life! They were stacked high on wooden crates.
