Jamie moved back and took a flame thrower from her space. She didn't want to stand out yet. Once people start getting superpowers, she can use her fire powers in public.
Three men appeared and she didn't recognize any of them. It was understandable, Jamie never got to know the villagers.
She stepped back because she wanted to watch how they handled the zombie. The three of them easily subdued the zombie. Again, it was expected because she fought well before and the zombie suffered major losses.
"Huh, it's so easy to kill zombies today."
One of them said.
"Yes, this is a very easy reward we earned."
The other replied.
"We are forgetting the lady!"
At least someone else noticed her.
They all turned to look at her. Jamie felt goosebumps. Were they going to silence her?
"Nice lady, do you want to give up the reward?"
