Sawyer kept looking at the City Lord. He didn't need to see what Jamie looked like to know her reaction.
"What do you mean?"
Sawyer sighed. It looked like talking needed strength. Sort of like when you are tired and rely on your inner strength to get up.
"These seeds are just so powerful and we have only a few of those. But because we are using them for our land, we gave up them. These seeds have fast-growing effect. Now, we have all normal seeds."
The city lord looked inquisitive and speechless.
Sawyer didn't stop there. He continued talking.
"You can ask who gave you those seeds, right?"
He shook his head.
"City Lord, favors don't work, again and again, don't you think so? We used up our favor for these seeds. The provider won't give us any more. He asks for money and frankly, it's so expensive."
"How expensive?"
"You can buy two cities with that money!"
The city lord gasped.
"How about normal ones? How much do they cost?"
