Chapter 95 - Chapter 95

This guy, how could he misunderstand her like this?

"I want to stay with you," he said, lifting his head, his gaze unwavering.

"Alright!" Si Lu agreed immediately.

If he wanted to stay, so be it.

After all, whether there was one more person or one less person, it didn't really make a difference.

Moreover, he was seriously injured. If he left like this, it would indeed be dangerous.

If he followed them, it would be safer.

Once he recovered, he could leave anytime he wanted. No one would stop him from leaving.

Although she had initially thought about keeping this uniquely colored rabbit as a pet, she knew now that it wasn't an ordinary rabbit, so she dismissed that thought.

"Lu Lu, he's blue rank, and his strength isn't bad," Bai Di suddenly said.

"Mm, so his recovery should be quick, right?" Si Lu asked.

She didn't think much of it.

"The stronger one's strength, the faster they recover," Bai Di explained.

"Mm-hmm." Si Lu nodded.

Bai Di looked at Si Lu. His earlier meaning had been that if Si Lu liked this pink rabbit, she could accept him as a mate.

The rabbit's strength wasn't bad.

Besides, Bai Di had noticed that Si Lu liked this pink-eared rabbit.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have mentioned wanting to keep him as a pet.

However, Si Lu didn't seem to have understood his implication.

But Bai Di also noticed that the rabbit seemed to have a bit of affection for Si Lu as well.

After all, she had saved his life, and she was beautiful. Any male beastman would be moved.

Forget it. There would be plenty of opportunities in the future.

Oh, right!

He also realized that Si Lu liked handsome beastmen.

Not only did their beast form have to be attractive, but their human form also had to be good-looking.

This guy's beast form wasn't bad.

As for his human form, Bai Di didn't know.

There was no way to tell.

They would have to wait and see what the rabbit looked like in human form.

If he was handsome, there would be hope.

If not, then they'd just have another injured beastman on their hands.

At this moment, Hei Yao returned.

"Lu Lu, I've come to get you." Hei Yao said gently, his eyes full of warmth as he looked at Si Lu.

Of course, he didn't spare the rabbit on the ground—who was still alive or dead—not even a glance.

In his eyes, there was only Lu Lu.

"Mm-hmm, let's go!" Si Lu said as she looked at Hei Yao.

The next second, Hei Yao scooped Si Lu up in a princess carry and turned to leave.

The pink-eared rabbit watched Si Lu's retreating figure, his eyes darkening.

"Where is she going?" he murmured to himself.

"Don't worry about it. Just focus on healing," Bai Di said without looking at him, still busy weaving a small bamboo basket.

"Oh." The rabbit's ears drooped even further.

"By the way, how does your human form look? Is it good-looking?" Bai Di asked out of the blue.

But he didn't raise his head to look at the rabbit; he simply continued weaving the basket.

"It's... okay, I guess," the rabbit replied, somewhat puzzled.

He didn't know if his human form was good-looking or not.

Besides, it wasn't something he cared about.

Was being good-looking something you could eat?

Or did being good-looking automatically get you a mate? Obviously not.

Only strength mattered.

So he thought his strength was decent, but after meeting Si Lu's mates, he felt pretty defeated.

Each one of them was stronger than him.

Sigh.

Bai Di didn't say anything more and just quickened his pace in weaving the basket.

Meanwhile, Si Lu was being carried by Hei Yao to the riverbank.

"Go ahead and collect it. There's no one around here," Hei Yao said.

Si Lu immediately began collecting meat.

Of course, Cheng Mo and Song Zhan had already processed most of it earlier. They were busy catching fish and shrimp for Si Lu, knowing that she liked it. They were racing against time to gather as many as possible.

After all, this river wouldn't last much longer. Who knew when they'd come across another one like this?

Since the little female liked shrimp, they were going to collect plenty of it.

"By the way, Cheng Mo and Song Zhan caught a lot of shrimp. Do you want me to dry them out for you?" Hei Yao asked as he looked at Si Lu.

"No need. There are still plenty of dried ones left, and we haven't finished eating them yet. These can just stay fresh with moisture. We'll store them in the space; they won't go bad. This way, we can have a change in taste. We don't always have to eat dried shrimp," Si Lu replied.

"Alright, whatever you say," Hei Yao smiled.

Whatever she said, that was what they would do.

Hei Yao carried Si Lu to a large rock, where she started collecting the shrimp.

"What about that rabbit? Are you planning to keep him with us for now?" Hei Yao asked.

"Yes, that's the plan for now. Once he's healed, he can leave if he wants to," Si Lu replied.

"I thought he was just an ordinary pink rabbit, but it turns out he's a beastman. If he were just a regular rabbit, it would've been great. I could've kept him as a pet. What a pity," Si Lu said regretfully.

Indeed, she really had wanted to keep a pet.

A pink-eared rabbit was quite unique.

What a shame!

"If you really like him, you can still keep him and make him act like a normal rabbit. If he doesn't listen, I'll kill him," Hei Yao said seriously.

"Trust me, he'll agree," Hei Yao continued, looking at Si Lu.

He was serious.

As long as it was something Si Lu liked, he would do whatever it took to get it for her.

If it was just making someone behave like a rabbit, that was simple enough.

If the rabbit didn't listen, they could always find another one. There were plenty of rabbits, some of which would certainly be obedient.

"Ah, no, that wouldn't be right!" Si Lu said, laughing.

"How can you be so violent? That's not good!" she added, chuckling.

She knew that Hei Yao and the others spoiled her a lot.

But she couldn't let that make her arrogant.

Besides, that kind of thing wasn't right. Forcing others to obey her was not the right thing to do.

She didn't want to, and she couldn't do such a thing.

"Stop it! You can't do something like that. Forcing someone to do something against their will isn't right. We're good people, good beastmen. We can't do such things," Si Lu said as she looked at Hei Yao.

She was genuinely worried that Hei Yao might threaten the rabbit.

"Don't worry, I'm very obedient. I won't do anything you don't want me to do," Hei Yao said with a smile.

Though he really wanted to make Si Lu happy and fulfill her wishes, since she didn't want him to do that, he naturally wouldn't.

After all, a good beastman should always listen to his mate.

"Now you're being good." Si Lu gave Hei Yao a big kiss on the cheek!

"Lu Lu, I'm obedient too! I want a kiss too!" Song Zhan, who had seen Si Lu kiss Hei Yao, excitedly ran over.

"Of course, don't forget me!" Cheng Mo said with a grin as he walked over too.
