"Alright, I'll listen to Lu Lu. Hehe, Lu Lu still cares about me, knowing I like eating meat and not grass," Song Zhan said with a bit of pride.
Sure enough, Lu Lu still cares about him, knowing that he prefers eating meat and thus letting him eat meat instead of grass. Of course, not eating it is one thing, but hearing the little female say it is something else entirely.
This little bit of comfort filled his heart with satisfaction, making him very happy.
"Alright, let's eat. After we're done, let's rest. You've all been busy all day and must be tired. Tonight, Ah Zhan will be with me," Si Lu said.
The others didn't say anything. They all knew it was Song Zhan's turn tonight, so there was no argument. After all, everyone got their turn.
Song Zhan, however, was ecstatic.
After dinner, Si Lu found herself with nothing to do. She looked over at Hei Yao, who was sitting quietly by the fire, staring at her. His hair, which had a hint of dark purple, caught her attention, and she walked over to him.
"Ah Yao, your hair is really nice," Si Lu said with a giggle, reaching out to touch Hei Yao's long hair. She thought the beastmen's hair was truly excellent—so smooth and sleek.
"Want to braid it?" Hei Yao asked gently, gazing at Si Lu with affection.
Seeing her take the initiative to come close and touch his hair filled him with joy. He loved it when the little female was affectionate toward him.
"Ah, Yao, you're so smart! Look, doesn't Bai Di's braid look great?" Si Lu laughed as she spoke, implying that her braiding skills were quite good.
She was confident she wouldn't mess it up.
"Yes, it looks very nice. I've always believed in your skills, Lu Lu," Hei Yao replied with a soft smile, his eyes full of affection.
If it's something she did, it must be the best.
"Hehe, I'll give you a side braid. I think it'll suit you perfectly," Si Lu said after thinking for a moment.
"Alright, Lu Lu, do as you see fit. I trust you," Hei Yao replied with a smile.
"Mm-hmm, don't move then. I'll be done soon," Si Lu said, nodding as she spoke.
She found a black leather strip, placed it to the side, then smoothed Hei Yao's long hair and started braiding it.
Hei Yao had the kind of beauty with strong features, and in dim light, his hair looked completely black. Only in brighter light could one see the dark purple hue. Si Lu thought this kind of look had an exotic flair, so a side braid would be perfect for him.
She got the idea from an anime character she liked—a handsome man with similar striking features.
Naturally, she was fond of it.
Cheng Mo and Bai Di quietly watched from the side while the large tiger, Song Zhan, also lay quietly on the ground, his eyes fixed on Si Lu.
Their gazes all rested on Si Lu.
Hei Yao could feel the little hands playing with his hair. It was an unusual feeling, but he liked it.
This was the first time anyone had touched his hair like this, and it was even his beloved female doing it.
Looking at the person so close to him, fully focused on her task, he didn't want to disturb her. She moved with such elegance, always smiling gently.
Hei Yao watched her entranced.
Si Lu was focused on braiding, her eyes shining with appreciation for his lovely hair. Her movements were neither too fast nor too slow—steady and sure.
Soon enough, the braid was complete. Si Lu arranged the finished side braid on Hei Yao's left side and smiled with satisfaction at her workmanship.
She was very pleased with how it turned out.
Indeed, this side braid suited Hei Yao perfectly. It gave him a noble, exotic look and was incredibly handsome. The more she looked at it, the happier she became.
"What do you think? Look at it! Isn't it dashing?" Si Lu said with a grin, showing her work to the others.
"It looks great! This braid is really nice." Bai Di was the first to speak, his eyes filled with warmth and affection.
The look in his eyes said that he thought Si Lu tailored the braids to suit each of them.
"It really is. It looks much neater and tidier now, and it gives off a completely different vibe," Cheng Mo said to Hei Yao, also surprised by the result.
The little female was truly talented.
He thought the side braid suited Hei Yao very well.
"It's very nice. Well done, Lu Lu! Will you braid mine next?" Song Zhan asked, a bit envious.
Of course, Bai Di had one, and now Hei Yao did too. His beast form had already gotten its turn, but not his human form! He wanted one as well.
"Alright, I'll braid little braids for all of you, each unique! Hehe," Si Lu said with a laugh.
She was happy they liked it.
After all, she had chosen the braid styles based on each of their individual personalities and temperaments, making them stand out from the rest.
Besides, their hair being always loose was sometimes inconvenient, especially while hunting, when long hair could easily get in the way.
In their beast forms, their hair didn't cause any problems, but in their human forms, they all had similarly long hair, which looked nearly identical when left loose.
She wanted them to stand out from the crowd.
After all, they were her mates, and naturally, she wanted them to look their best.
And besides, with such stunningly handsome faces, it would be a shame not to tidy them up a little.
Her beautiful men certainly couldn't be dealt with carelessly or just "good enough."
They had such great foundations—it would be a waste not to make the most of them.
"Of course, I'll braid your hair in a style that fits your personality and temperament. Cheng Mo's hair may be shorter, but that won't be an issue," Si Lu said, looking over at Cheng Mo.
Cheng Mo's hair was slightly gray and not too long, but it wasn't short either.
The others all had long hair reaching down to their waists, while Cheng Mo's hair was more of a mid-length—not too short, but not long either.
Actually, his hair could be braided too, but it wouldn't be as long as the others'.
"That's alright. If you can braid it, go ahead. If not, it's no problem. I can wait until it grows longer. I'm in no rush," Cheng Mo said considerately.
He didn't want to make things difficult for the little female.
Even though he really wanted her to braid his hair, he understood that it might be harder because of its length, so he was okay with waiting a bit longer.
In truth, what he cared about most was Si Lu's attitude.
Hearing that she hadn't forgotten about him or dismissed him because of his short hair made him very happy.
Sometimes, intentions matter more than actions.
He was meticulous by nature and didn't sweat the small stuff, but he did care about how things were approached.
"It's no trouble at all for me," Si Lu replied with a smile.
It was no big deal!
Of course not. Something like this wouldn't be difficult for her. His hair was a bit shorter, but it wasn't extremely short, so it would be fine.
She just needed to think about how to make it look even better, to suit them even more.
"You call the shots," Cheng Mo said warmly.
"Alright," Si Lu nodded.
