"Ah Zhan, come over here and shift into your human form," Si Lu said with a smile as she looked at the large tiger gazing at her with burning eyes.
As soon as Song Zhan heard this, he immediately stood up and transformed into his human form. He walked over to Si Lu and stood in front of her.
Hei Yao, on the other hand, smiled as he quietly watched Si Lu. He shifted to sit on the other side of her, gently touching the braided scorpion-tail hairstyle that Si Lu had given him.
He really liked it. His eyes became even more tender as he looked at Si Lu. She was truly wonderful.
The large tiger, Song Zhan, obediently sat next to Si Lu, his yellow eyes full of love and anticipation as he gazed at her.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Si Lu asked curiously, noticing the intense heat in the tiger's gaze.
"I think you're very beautiful," Song Zhan said with a smile.
Hearing this, a shy blush quickly appeared on Si Lu's face. This guy, how did his words get so sweet? And it seemed like he had become smarter. His emotional intelligence had definitely increased.
Hei Yao and the others were also surprised; it seemed like Song Zhan had gotten a bit more clever. In the past, this guy would never have said something like that.
His words were often thoughtless and unintelligent. But recently, he had improved a lot and was much smarter now.
"Let me see how I should braid your hair so it suits you," Si Lu said, not responding to Song Zhan's earlier comment. Instead, she focused on his golden hair, deep in thought. Soon, she had an idea.
"I got it. Sit with your back to me, and don't move. Also, hold some of your hair in your hands for now; don't let it down yet," Si Lu instructed as she divided Song Zhan's hair into sections.
She split his hair into upper and lower parts. She had him hold the top portion of his hair in his hands while she divided the lower part into two equal sections and began braiding.
As she worked, the others sitting around the campfire watched Si Lu intently, their eyes filled with curiosity and warmth.
They weren't sure how Si Lu was going to braid Song Zhan's hair, but they knew her skills were impressive. Hei Yao's and Bai Di's hairstyles suited them perfectly.
Bai Di's gentle and well-behaved demeanor was reflected in his hairstyle—two small braids on either side of his head, which were tied together at the back.
It kept his long, silver-white hair neat and made him look soft and gentle.
Hei Yao's, on the other hand, had a more exotic and cool look. His scorpion-tail braid matched his aura of nobility and mystery, which fit him perfectly since he was the quiet and reserved type.
Cheng Mo had to admit that Si Lu had really put a lot of thought into her work. That's why he was looking forward to seeing what kind of braid she'd create for him.
He wondered what Si Lu would come up with for him, and although he regretted not growing his hair out longer, it was too late to change that now.
In no time, Si Lu finished braiding Song Zhan's hair. She positioned the two braids on either side of his head, then had him release the hair he had been holding.
"Ah Zhan, turn around and let me see the front," Si Lu said.
Song Zhan obediently turned to face her.
"Not bad at all," Si Lu said, tidying up his hair.
She had braided two medium-sized braids using the hair at the back of his head and positioned them on either side of his neck, which made him look even more sunny and handsome.
He resembled a bright, cheerful young man. Si Lu was very satisfied with her work.
"Look at him—doesn't he just look like a bright and sunny boy?" Si Lu said with a pleased smile.
"Indeed, very bright and cheerful," Bai Di was the first to comment, finding it fitting for Song Zhan. His golden hair hung just past his waist, with two golden braids on either side. It looked great.
None of them had ever seen a female as smart and unique as Si Lu. Watching her, they all found her increasingly mysterious, and, of course, they were falling more in love with her by the moment.
Such a wonderful person—how lucky they were to have found her.
"Very nice," Hei Yao also nodded, his eyes filled with warmth as he looked at Si Lu.
This Song Zhan sure was lucky. In Hei Yao's eyes, Song Zhan was always a bit reckless, someone who acted without thinking and wasn't very smart.
Yet somehow, he had been lucky enough to become Si Lu's mate, and it was clear that Si Lu liked him a lot.
Si Lu saw Song Zhan as a bright, sunny boy, and Hei Yao could only admire his good fortune.
"Ah, Zhan, from now on, you need to be more mature. Otherwise, it really won't match this sunny and handsome image or the nice braid Si Lu made for you," Cheng Mo said, unable to hold back his comment as he looked at the smug tiger. He was jealous.
Everyone else had their turn with special, unique braids tailored to their personalities, but not him.
"Don't worry, I will. I'll definitely change. I won't be impulsive or hot-headed anymore. I'll be a bright, cheerful male beastman," Song Zhan said resolutely.
He was determined not to disappoint Si Lu.
"Actually, each of you has strengths and weaknesses. Your strengths and weaknesses exist together. Just be yourselves; you don't need to change for me. The most authentic version of you is what I like," Si Lu said with a smile.
She reached out and touched the golden braids she'd made for Song Zhan. They were beautiful.
Indeed, good looks made all the difference!
