Summary:
The battle of new gods and monsters continue with the arrival of new fighters in each side
Huggins gave a groan.
"Why do today generation have to be so stubborn and fool hardy." He grumble shaking his head.
"I will attack straight..you kids offer support and cover me in case other monsters decide to join" he finally ordered "be careful this snake likes to spit venom"
"Right!" The kids called out with determined looks while getting into position.
"And after this is over remind me to have a talk with Miss Santiago" he added with a scoff before charging in again.
(With Lynn)
Lynn was trying to free herself from the coils of the Wyrm, yet the worm dragon had her on a deathly hug that stop her from moving (and never she was more thankful for the armor as she could feel the sharp scales of the beast even through it).
What made matter worst; were the two trolls that took turns to smash their fists on the head of the trapped goddess.
"ARG...HEY...OW...CUT IT OUT!" Lynn snapped angrily only for the trolls to laugh.
"Hehe dumb god" One Troll said throwing a punch.
"Weak god" The second agreed with another laugh smashing a fist down on Lynn
"Grrrr once im out..PUNCH...YOU WILL...PUNCH...BE SORRY!!!" roared Lynn in anger.
The punches were hard no doubt and she could take them for sure...but each hit was really messing with her ego and reputation (in her mind)
And of course, just when she thought things couldn't get even more embarrassing, she heard some laughter fill the air before one of the trolls got hit by a bolt of lightning.
"Hey Loud! need a hand?!" Called out the form of Ronnie Santiago who was twirling her hammer by its strap.
"Blood of Thor!!!" the other Troll cried before being hit by a lightning bolt too.
The Wyrm roared but the new Norse god of thunder flew against it hitting it with the hammer forcing it to release Lynn
"And that..." Ronnie Anne smirked as she caught her hammer which flew back into her hand "is how it's done" she said with a chuckle while Lynn just gave a annoyed scowl and grumble as she exploited the opening to attack the Wyrm.
Before the worm-dragon could recover, Lynn leaped on the air and crashed on its belly with a smash and crack sound coming soon after
"No.." Lynn shot a smirk over her shoulder at Ronnie Anne, "THATS..how it's done!" The loud sister said with a smug laugh.
"Huff you can't admit you were helpless without my help right?" asked Ronnie landing next to the dusting monster.
"Please I had those freaks right where I wanted them." Lynn said right back to her a huff and crossed arms, "I was just luring them into a false sense of security is all."
"And they using your head as punching ball was also part of your plan?" asked Ronnie with a raised eyebrow.
"Uh..yeah..of course." Lynn gave an uncomfortable cough looking away "didn't feel a thing after all." she said with a forced grin while Ronnie Anne gave a snort of disbelief.
"Aha" called Ronnie "so were those all the monsters?" she asked turning to see the others still fighting against the Cadejos and the other two big monsters.
"No and that's what I'm worry" said Lynn "there were plenty of monster for the exhibition including..."
The ground began shaking...and shaking...and shaking....
And the next Ronnie knew was she was being hit by something big, hairy and strong.
"Him!" she heard Lynn finish (and she swears there was a mocking smile on her face) before she was impacted against a tree (that broke in two)
HUFFF
And looked up to see a minotaur looking at her enraged.
"Urg...hey big.." Ronnie Anne said with a grunt and slight nervous sweat as even the murderous look in the Minotaur eyes had her nervous not that she admits it, "hows it going?" she asked from her position under a broken tree

The bull man lowered his head and charged in with horns ready to impale the girl.
"OH NO YOU DON"T!" Only for the form of Lynn Loud to jump onto its head and grab the bull by its horns
MOOOOOO!!!!
The minotaur bellowed in anger at seeing himself stop mid-charge.
"Yee HA!" Lynn shouted out as the minotaur attempt to shake and buck her off, "Ride em cowboy!" while the new Hercules acted like a cowboy, Ronnie huffed and began pushing the tree off her.
"And people call me the show off." She grumbled while giving a grunt managing to push the tree off her thanks to her god kid granted enhanced strength.
"BLOOD OF THOR!!!" smoking and with burned marks..one of the trolls seems to be more resistant than the other as it came charging at her.
With Ronnie Anne meeting the charge with a glare as she leapt up with a scream while swinging her hammer.
"AAAAAARRGGG!" Before bringing it against the Trolls cheek
CRACK
The troll fell dusting away immediately.
"Ha that's what you get!" Ronnie Anne cried out as she landed in a crouch with an arrogant smug smirk

Only to get a BIG piece of stone crashing on her

The cyclops had returned...and wasnt happy.
"Urg...it's going to be...one of those days." Ronnie Anne muttered with a groan into the dirt with the stone crushing her body.
"Oh cap!" called Lynn.
But in her distraction the minotaur managed to grab her and before she noticed it slammed her against the ground

Meanwhile the cyclops gazed on the group still battling the Serpopard and charged towards them.
"Urg..hey...get back here!" Lynn shouted out at its back only to let out a pained grunt as the Minotaur continued to slam her into the ground. "what the hell is going on?!" She wondered in anger and shock.
How the hell were these monsters doing so good against them?!
ROAR!!
"Yikes!!!" Clyde exclaimed noticing the charging monster.
Unfortunately, all his friends and teacher were busy with their own issue and couldn't help as the monster raised a fist and brought it on him and Chloe.
SMASH!!!
"Clyde!!!" cried the mist goddess at being pushed away on the last second.
The cyclops raised his fist...

And was confused at seeing only a towel on the floor...while not noticing a beetle going up his arm.
A beetle that crawled all the up to the back of the monsters head a beetle that soon transformed into something a lot larger than a bug!

The cyclops suddenly found himself being crushed by a whale of all things.
"Whoo nice one Clyde!" Chloe cheered out from her position with a smile of praise that the whale returned with a smile.
"Ah shucks was nothing." He said with a slight boost of pride before shifting back to normal.
CLYDE MCBRIDE-REINCARNATION OF MAUI (POLYNESIAN)
"And you are not even worried about the towel so that's also a plus" added Chloe.
Clyde blinked...looked down..and realized he was now in "uniform" AKA a leaf skirt, a collar with fish bones...and that was all.
"Eeep!" Clyde then glowed red as he let out a squeak and his hands went down to cover his crouch.
"Go Clyde show the girl the prize to win!!!" Rusty called off.
"Can you please NOT say things like that while having your hand on me?!!" yelled Carol in anger as she had Rusty hands on her wounded wind editing a soft golden light healing her "seriously why is the one god with healing powers be this pervert AND have to touch someone to helper?"
"Hey there's nothing perverted about appreciating a girl´s good looks." Rusty said back defensively while giving a slight smirk.
"Not even in your dreams" scoffed Carol.
"Are you sure?" the new Apollo asked "I'm sure the queen of the sky and the god of the sun can become quite close"
Carol however just shot him a flat look.
"Not even if you were the last god or man on the face of the planet."
"Never say never babe" winked Rusty.
"ehh Rusty!" SLASH "I'm not against..."SLASH "wooing girls but..." SLASH GROWL "a little help here!!!?" called the new Hermes as he ran circles around the serpopard to distract it while Carol healed "urggg...im getting dizzy" he said his cheeks turning green.
"Hang buddy just hold it in!" Rusty called out only to receive a reply that caused him to grimace.
"Blaaarrg!"
"Uh..never mind." Rusty added with a wince.
"ugg..my wing doesn't hurt and I can move it" said Carol pushing Rusty away "let's try this again" she said transforming her rod back into a bow. "Right..." She put on a determined look while drawing back her bow, "round 2.." she said as an energy form in her bow that she let fly.
"Let me help gorgeous" Called Rusty pulling out his own bow and adding extra fire to his arrows before firing them
And the arrows went flying heading straight to the Serpopard.
The Leopard creature growled leaping away from the shots giving Zack a moment to stop and recover his breath.
"Ah thanks..ah..guys!" Zach panted out as he zoomed to above their heads, "that thing wanted to turn me into a happy meal!" He exclaimed with a grimace.
"You really need to increase your training if you want to be able to use your speed without getting sick" said Carol without pausing her shooting
"Urg...I know...but i can't help but...arg...get air sick..sometimes.." Zach said back with a groan while holding his stomach.
"come on Zach!" called Rusty "just imagine how many girls you will impress if you handle your speed and actually start flying...aaalllll the way up to the clouds"
At this Zach flushed but a got a stupid dopey grin on his face as his imagination took him to...certain places
While Carol just gave an annoyed growl.
"I'm surrounded by perverts!" she snapped lowly letting loose an arrow.
The beast growled in anger and frustration as it couldn't evade all the arrows and some found its mark.
With the Wadjet things were the same...any advantage the snake had was swap away as it was forced to back up being pointed at by Huggin´s spear and Stella´s harpoon.
"Stay on your guard!" Huggins called out to his students in warning, "just because a fight turns in your favor doesn't mean an opponent can't still take you by surprise."

everyone turned at the monstrous bellow to noticed the minotaur holding up an unconscious Ronnie Anne and a battered Lynn that although still awake didn't seem in position to fight back
The bull man huffed at the gods...the message was clear...surrender or they pay the price.
"Ronnie Anne!" Stella shouted in concern she wasn't always the girls biggest fan but that didn't mean she wanted her hurt or worse!

The Wajet hissed at them almost as it was laughing of the situation.
"Ok this is not good" Carol exclaimed as the serpopard (with some arrows sticking out its body) snarled and began walking around the gods hopping to reach the minotaur.
"Just let me!" Rusty exclaimed raising his bow.
"No!" called Carol "you could hurt any of them or worst have them kill"
At that Rusty froze with wide eyes at that realization; of course, he was confident in his skills but if something went wrong Carol was right, he could kill someone and then if they lived through this somehow, he'd be facing some major heat and punishment.
"Grrrr" Huggins growled in anger at his students being in danger.
Over them the sky seems to cloud in.
"Principal what do we do?" asked Clyde nervously.
The Minotaur snarled again...as if telling them again to surrender.
Over them a small rain began falling.
Huggins eyes swerved around them taking in all the surrounding monsters such as Wajet, Serpopard, the remaining Cadejo and ahuizotl, as well as a number of other creatures he could see eying them some distance from the battle field as if waiting for the right chance to jump in
He took in all this before taking a deep breath than spoke out.
"Very well.." He shot a glare at the minotaur, "let my student go and we'll surrender." He said firmly with a large dark scowl.
The Wadjet hissed at him
With a huff he let go of his spear.
"I don't like this" said Stella letting go of her harpoon.
"same" added Clyde putting down his hook.
"tch" Carol was angry as her bow returned to a rod and fall to the ground.
With many of the others following suit none of them liking this one bit but seeing no other way out of this without putting Ronnie Anne at risk.
The monsters meanwhile looked smug at this and were ready to finish things.

until the three big ones got hit by glowing spheres of energies (dusting the hurt leopard creature inmediatly) and forcing the minotaur to release his hostages.

The responsible were Lori (charging her staff with star energy) and a boy her age, tall with tan skin, black hair with a tuft combed upwards, and some facial hair on his chin.
He was dressed in a green/jaded looking armor with a long battle skirt, a jade helmet, sandals, a wooden shield and a big ax.
ROBERTO "BOBBY" SANTIAGO-REINCARNATION OF CHAAC (MAYAN).
"You all okay!" The boy called out worriedly to the others with a concerned frown.
"Lynn!!!" Lori cried at her battered sister.
"Ronnie!" the boy approached the falling girl.
At the same time another bus arrived from were other upper students rushed out.
"Urg...hey..sis...took you long enough.." Lynn groaned out as Lori hurried to her side, "Told you...that chariot...was bad idea.." Lynn added with a weak chuckle.
"Ugg literal not the time!!" called Lori in anger.
"It seems all here need a recharge" called a boy with fair skin and dark brown curly hair. He was dressed in a viking-like armor with a horned helmet; carrying an ax and a horn on his belt "allow me" he said taking the horn to his lips.
His eyes glow white as he made it sound

A red aura covered the yard healing up the wounded and giving Lynn and Ronnie energy back to awake.

"I'm awake abuela!" Ronnie Anne cried out instinctively as she sat up with Bobby kneeling down beside her giving a sigh of relief.
"Oh yeah...that's the stuff.." Lynn said with a groan as she stood up shooting Benny a thumbs up, "Thanks Ben owe you one." She told her classmate with a faint smirk.
Ben gave her a thumbs up before rushing into battle.
"Lynn focus!!! what happened?!!" called Lori with worry in her tone.
Close by a duo of giant green snakes charged to attack...only for an obese teenager with dark orange hair, and freckles dressed in a toga, with a vide crown and a fennel shaped staff with a vide around it jumped in.
"Hey the Chaz think you must calm down!" he called sending a wine-colored aura at the snakes who suddenly began "dancing" before falling unconscious

"Heh whether monster, mortal, or god the Chaz always helps people party till they drop!" The boy declared grandly with a smile.
"uggg I will need a drink after all this is over" called Lynn.
"LYNN!!" Lori exclaimed in anger.
"Jezz don't yell!" called the new Hercules "look the true is we don't know how but all the creatures that were supposed to be in exhibition got loose" she said.
"They WHAT?!" Lori demanded in anger and worry as this would explain where all these monsters came from and how so many got into the center of the Royal Woods near her little siblings elementary no less! "HOW!?" she demanded with a glare of fury as her hand clenched her staff her little sisters and brother might drive her crazy but they were still her siblings and seeing Lynn injured when she arrived already had her furious. But the thought of anything happening to Lincoln and her little sisters who didn't have the protection or power of being a god kid like they did...and what could of happen to them.
Literally help her because if someone got them hurt than she'll show them why Hera wraith was so feared in ancient times!
"No idea…" Lynn voice however brought her out of her thoughts and she saw her sister scowling "But it gets worse Lori.." Lynn said giving Lori a serious glare, "The monsters.." Lynn shook her head in disbelief, "I don't know what's going on but they not only seem stronger than usually but their smarter too.." she clenched her fists together, "They're using team work Lori actual team work!" She snapped glaring at her older sister "I got lured into a trap by two trolls...TROLLS!" She emphasized and naturally this information just made Lori eyes widen because she knew like her sister that this literally wasn't normal behavior at all.
"That doesn't sound normal" said Bobby also in worrying tone.
"Or maybe she just got too cocky" called Ronnie with a huff "plus she is not exactly hard to trick" she added in anger for being knocked out like that.
"This is serious Santiago!" Lynn snapped back in a roaring glare actually causing the girl to flinch back "NOTHING about how these things are fighting is normal and you know it!" Lynn added glaring into the younger girl´s eyes, "For the sake of the Gods the Minotaur held you hostage rather than rip you to pieces!" She exclaimed out throwing her arms up in the air, "That alone should ring alarm bells!"
Indeed, it was bad...yet this brought Lori back to her initial fear.
"Lynn...where is Lincoln?" she asked "you know if he evacuated with the rest of the students?"
Of course, she knew the rest of her younger sisters were also in danger but they were still yet to go through the ritual so there was still the chance they could be God Kids and have the power slumbering in them that could protect them if it awaken...but Lincoln...he was a mortal he was defenseless!
And at her question Lynn eyes went wide with worry and fear of the same realization.
"I..I don't know!" Lynn exclaimed shaking her head in worry.
"What do you mean you literally don't know!?" Lori yelled back in disbelief causing Lynn to flinch.
"In case you didn't notice but we arrived to the school in the middle of a crisis Lori!"
"Tch Knowing Lame-o he probably is cowering under some desk in an empty classroom" said Ronnie with a scoff as she picked up her hammer "so how about you stop worrying and keep smashing heads before we ran out of monsters?" she said ready to launch in.
Until her brother grabbed her hammer and took it away.
"Sorry Ronalda but you are tagging out of this one" the new Mayan god of rain declared.
"What WHY!?" Ronnie shouted out while throwing her brother an angry incredulous look

"A) cause you already fought and got knock-out" listed her brother "B) that comment was quite rude of you..and C)" he turned to Lori and Lynn "I got a copy of the list of creatures brought...I dont know who approved it but if I catch them I will have words with them" he added with anger "they brought in the cretan bull..and the chimera"
"A WHAT!?" Lori and Lynn shouted out in rage and fear, "WE NEED TO FIND LINCOLN AND THE OTHERS LITERALLY YESTERDAY!" Lori added in with wide eyes a chimera...a fucking CHIMERA!
"You and Lynn go...Think me and the others will finish with the big snake and the dogs" said Bobby "find the little man" he added giving Lori a comforting smile
"I...if you're sure." Lori said giving her boyfriend a look of concern, "Hey I can handle a snake and some dogs no problem." Bobby assured her only to wince as Lori pulled him into a hug.
"Literally thank you so much boo boo bear!"
Ronnie tried to take advantage to take her hammer back.
"don't even think about it young lady" called Bobbie "you go straight with the rest of evacuated kids and stay there as guard right now!"
"But .." Ronnie Anne protected but her brother shot her an out of character stern glare.
"No buts I mean it."
"Ahhh it's not fair!!" called Ronnie "I'm technically stronger and more powerful than you!!!"
"Ronalda Anne Santiago!" However, she flinched at her brothers tone and the use of her full name "this isn't the time to argue or worrying about how strong you are!" Bobby told his sister sternly with a glare, "I'm asking you to protect the evacuated kid and keep them safe!" He added firmly
Ronnie huffed.
"I still will need my hammer for that" she said crossing her arms
Bobby gave her a look.
"Swear on our mothers name you'll head over to the evacuated kids and do everything to keep them safe." He said and added sternly, "and NOT run off looking for a fight with one of the escaped monsters."
"Ahhhhhh seriously?!!" the new Thor cried in frustration.
"Do it or not hammer" said the rain god "i know you are top on the fighting class so I know you won't be defenseless without it"
Ronnie Anne scowled before huffing out with irritation.
"Fine!" she snapped as she raised a hand giving a sigh, "I swear on the name of our mother Maria Santiago I won't go looking for a fight and i'll head off to protect all those weak babies." she added with an eye roll mutter.
"See? wasnt that hard" said Bonny giving the hammer back to Ronnie
Ronnie Anne just grumbled under her breath about being left out of the fun and actions and glory hogging older brothers
"I heard that!!" called Bobby.
"Come on Lynn...lets go find our brother" called Lori preparing her staff.
"Right behind you Lori.." Lynn said with a determined nod before adding with a scowl, "and so help me if there's a second scratch on him.." She punched her fist into her hand, "i'm going to find who's ever to blame for all this and break every bone in their body!" she snapped with a dark murderous gaze.
The two Greek reincarnations charged into the school hopping their siblings were ok.

Things...weren't ok…although they weren't bad either?
Good thing…Lincoln was able to get him and the girl out the tent.
Bad thing...monsters were after them.
Good thing...guards and GODA agents arrived to try contain them.
Bad thing...this stampede made him lose hold of the girls separating them.
Good thing...guards were armed and were able to fight back...also seems the monsters were happy to ignore him
Bad thing...or more specific...THREE bad things...they had a Babylonian six-horned bull capable of breathing and setting itself on fire...a giant white Greek bull immune to their shock bullets...and a three headed creature with the agility of a goat, the ferocity (plus claws and fangs) of a lion and the poison of a snake!!!
The two bulls and the chimera were ripping the guards and agents a new one while the battle spill into the food yard where Lincoln was still trying to find Haiku and Jordan while evading the fighters.
"This is bad...VERY BAD!" Lincoln muttered to himself with a freak out expression while hoping the girls were okay, "if there was ever a time I actually needed my sisters or anybody's help it's now!" He added in a stressed-out hiss.
All while having to leap over one of the dozens of Alphyns (a wolf creature with the front paws of an eagle and a sharp tongue) that now moved on the yard while also keeping an eye on the sky to evade a lose Stymphalian bird´s feather.
Ironically not so far from him under a lunch table...both Haiku and Jordan managed to hide while looking at the battle around them.
"This is crazy!" Jordan hissed out to the other girl looking stressed before adding with a growl, "And all because that pervert bastard couldn't take no for an answer!" she added with a snap and slight watery eye.
"you think he would set this creatures free just for a rejection?" asked Haiku...sure Chandler was a Zeus alright on the ego..but so much to do this?
"Who else could be to blame for this!?" Jordan said back in a low hiss, "knowing that egomaniac he probably thought he could take them all on by himself and he'd come out as a big hero!"
Haiku frowned...that do sound like him...problem? she remembered seeing him as confused and scared the moment the monsters walk out their cells like them...so either he was pretending...or he didnt have anything to do with what was happening.
Speaking off.
The reincarnation of Zeus was actually not far away actually trying to fend off some attackers.
"Get the fuck back you disgusting freaks!" Chandler yelled out angrily sending out a blast of lightning.
This wasn't going AT ALL how he expected.
He expected to come woo Jordan back in line, maybe steal a kiss or feel, have his share of spot light (AKA ALL) with the lesser mortals, maybe play with some morty-girls and show everyone HE was the king of gods.
He wasn't expecting Lori loser brother and some goth weirdo show up and spoil the mood and he sure as hell wasn't expecting all of the monsters to be set free!
"Grr that Larry..this is all his fault!!" he called as he discharged his rage shocking any beast that get close to him.
"JORDAN!!! HAIKU!!!"
A cry called his attention and he turned to see who else but the white haired boy himself
"Where are you girls!?" He called out worriedly hoping they were safe and okay not noticing Chandler glare hard at him.
"tch you think you can make me look bad?" Chandler called in anger as he prepared a lightning bolt "know your place mortal!" he yelled before throwing it at him.
HISSSS!!!!
Lincoln suddenly felt something...and immediately made his body turn evading the attack by a hair.
BOOM!!!
"AHHHHHH!!!"
Unfortunately, it hit the table where Jordan and Haiku were hiding sending flying into the open.
ROAR!!!
And what is more the attack got the attention of the chimera
"GIRLS CHANDLER YOU LUNATIC!" Lincoln yelled out with an expression of freaked out worry.
Without waiting for an answer Lincoln rushed towards the girls.
"tch and where you think you are going?!" called Chandler preparing another bolt.

Only for him to suddenly found himself on the end of the Hadhayosh´s fire breath causing him to flinch back in fear before his ego and anger overrode his common sense, "Get out of my way you dumb beast!"
The bull charged at him with the force of a locomotor.
"I said.." Chandler growled before roaring as he thrust out his hands 'SCRAM!" And let loose the most powerful attack he could.
MOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"
The beast stopped in its track; bellowing in pain at the sudden barrage of lighting.
"hahahaha that's right stupid cow...cower before Zeus!!!" Chandler called in victory tone.
SWINNNG!!!!
Only for him to feel an equal pain and burning sensation when a BIG sting hit his back
"ARG WHAT!?" He called out as he found himself falling to his knees in shock and pain.
"kekekekekeke" behind him the scorpion man appeared; its tail still embedded on the back of the young god "all that power...but still just a kid" the creature said in raspy tone.
"Urg...bas..tard.." Chandler gasped out finding himself falling to the floor as an agonizing pain started to hit his body do to the venom of the Scorpion Man
Ignoring what was happening, Lincoln raced towards his friends as they were face to face to the chimera.
SNARL!!!
With Jordan and Haiku finding themselves clinging to each other in fear with even the gothic girl expression showing terror and just as the Chimera stepped forward and both of them thought this was it a voice screamed out.
"STOP! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!"
And both girl's eyes went wide when Lincoln slid between them and the beast.
"LINCOLN!?' Both of them shouted out in worry.
The white-haired boy jumped between the three headed creature and the girls.
The beast snarled.
"I SAID, STAY BACK!!!" Lincoln called again looking at the monster with the angriest look he could muster. Even when on the inside he was both scared and berating himself.
He didn't know how much his self-called "monster friendly power" really worked...and he was almost 100% sure yelling at a chimera at point blank was just the same as signing your own death warrant.
Yet he didnt care...right there and then all he could think off was saving the two girls being him and that was it!
Two girls who were looking at his back with awe and worry for the boy the confirmed normal mortal boy at that who was risking his life to save their own while the Chimera...the Chimera gave a growl and seemed to stare long and hard into Lincoln eyes.
Lincoln pushed out all the courage he could.
"I SAY...BACK OFF!!!"
The yell actually echoed on the yard...with a mix of a roar and a hissing mix with it.
All around the monsters and creatures suddenly stopped their rampage turning towards the boy.
The chimera actually flinched and lowered its heads in submission.
With Lincoln giving a shocked blink at this and what he just did, "L-Lincoln?" Spoke a low voice in disbelief causing him to look over his shoulder at Jordan and Haiku who were gazing at him with wide eyes.
"Are..are you ok?" the white haired boy asked at them.
They looked ok..maybe a bit bruised and dirty with small tears on their clothes but seem all ok.
"Uh..yeah." Jordan said gazing at him with a shock, "thanks to you.." Haiku said with a slight flush to her pale cheeks.
The boy let out a breath in relief...now the question was...what now?
Gulping Lincoln turned his attention to the chimera.
"o-ok...I think thats enough...go...shoo..back to the forest" he called almost as if he was shooing a dog or something.
The Chimera rather than growl angrily or even glare actually seemed to let out a disappointed whine.
Lincoln (and the girls) blinked at that.
"H-hey...dont take it the wrong way" called the boy doing something that anyone would call stupid...walk closer to the monster...and then raising a hand to pet the lion head "look already you scared my friends..if you stay more my sisters will come and dust you away" With the Chimera giving a pout before seeming to sigh with a low growl than proceeded to shock them all by giving Lincoln a friendly lick to the cheek. "hey!!! hahahaha" the boy actually laughed as the goat head also nuzzled on him and the snake tail flicker its tongue on his hair.
Meanwhile two things were happening.
1.-Jordan and Haiku were looking at this in couple disbelief
and
2.- the other creatures slowly but sure began leaving, rushing to the back and towards the woods
"Uh..Haiku.." Jordan said slowly her voice nothing but deadpan shock, "Yes Jordan." Haiku was little better, "is...is this actually happening?" Jordan asked with a slow blink of disbelief.
"I...Its either that or the chimera was successful in his endeavor to end our mortal life and what are we watching is just the image of what we wished that happened instead before crossing to the afterlife" said the goth girl in awe.
"Oh...that makes sense.." Jordan said with still open shock looking at Lincoln back silently for several minutes before asking in a low whisper, "So how badly do you want to kiss him right now too?"
"Ummmm I will say the urge is big" Haiku admitted.
Lincoln petted the chimera..until it turned up and snarled.
The scorpion man approached.
Lincoln also turned to it with narrowed eyes wondering what it wanted.
"click click....the young god is alive...but I cant help but wonder..you want him to be?" it asked.
"What do you mean?" Lincoln asked warily before adding with a frown, "And why aren't you trying to attack us."
The scorpion hummed looking at the boy as if he was trying to search for something.
"ummm...young still...its not your time" he finally said "answers will come...but its not my duty to give them" he added turning around "yet I will do leave this warning for you…lord of the tempests...be careful who you put your trust in...there are forces working around you...and I can tell they will bewitching you" he said before start crawling away too
"Lord of tempests?" Lincoln repeated with a blink wondering why something about that title felt so familiar? While also feeling a chill at the monsters warning and wondering what answers he was talking about.
A purr from the chimera broke him out as it gave a last snuggle before also began marching away from the school.
That's when Lincoln noticed the rest of the creatures following..some giving the boy a second look..some decided to go forwards into the school... but at the end, only Lincoln, Haiku and Jordan remained.
Them and two small forms watching the shadows.
"Wow...I mean part of me was kinda expecting it but still wow." The form said looking into the room while talking to their companion.
"If its HIM then...it means the time is running out" the other called "if he is awakening the others soon will follow...and then..."
"war" his companion called back
"And we barely survived the first war." The first voice groaned out.
"yeah not exactly eager to test the limits of what it takes to kill us for good." The Second voice said with a grimace, "Though on the plus side after the first war we never had to deal with Neurosis again." He said with a laugh with even the first one sharing it.
"True don't know how he got killed for good but very true"
They said the two sharing a laugh before the first figure shook his head.
"But this is serious the war is approaching again don't you know what this means?!" They hissed shaking their companion by their shoulder.
"Eh...we need to head south of the border?" The second said back with a slight dazed.
"NO!" The first one said with a groan, "we need to make sure we're on the winning side!"
His eyes focus on Lincoln who was helping the girls up
"Glad that is over" said the boy "you sure you, ok?"
"Uh yeah..thanks to you." Jordan said with a slight flush as Haiku gave an agreeing nod, "I said you were special Lincoln." The gothic girl said giving a small grin, "but even I didn't expect this."
"Hehehehe" Lincoln laughed nervously "yeah…it's just…something I can do for some reason" he said "well monsters tend to ignore me and not attack me…this is the first time I try give one an order"
"It's surprising.." Haiku agreed with a nod.
"Surprising? this is crazy!" Jordan said shaking her head in disbelief, "I mean don't get me wrong Lincoln i'm beyond grateful but.." she gave him a look of awe yet confusion, "this doesn't make any sense.." she bit her lip, "you went through the ritual...but here you are commanding monsters.." She said her voice full of awe and disbelief.
"hmm not to mention I can't really recall any god kid being able to command monsters before." Haiku added with her own thoughtful frown.
"Me neither" said Lincoln "that's one reason I haven't told my family about this…well that and because I can see them freaking out with some monster encounters, I have had in the past and haven't tell them either about" he said scratching his head"
"Oh like what?" Haiku asked with an arched brow and as a nervous Lincoln told them the two watchers suddenly shared a smirk.
"you thinking what i'm thinking~" The first asked with a hint of a smirk.
"Follow him and keep an eye on him while keeping our presence a secret until we are sure of his identity?"
"Hehe you know it" The first voice said with a chuckle, "And if he is I think we've found our new boss and ticket to surviving the war"
"I like how you think" said the first voice as both sneaked away.
"Whoa...you really had some…interesting encounters" said Jordan after hearing what Lincoln had pass "and none of your family knows this?"
"Nope" Lincoln said shaking his head with a frown, "It's always been my secret.." He rubbed at his arm uncomfortably, "I...really wasn't sure how anybody would react."
"well they won't hear it from me" said Haiku "you are my friend Lincoln and just saved my life...I will take this secret to the grave if you ask me to" said the goth girl.
"Same.." Jordan said with a determined look and nod, "you stood up to Chandler for me I've got your back." she told him with crossed arms.
Lincoln smiled at them.
"Thanks girls...it..it feels nice telling someone about this" he said with a sincere tone.
"It is nice you trust us with it" said Haiku "maybe we could help you understand it and find an answer to where it came from"
"That...would honestly be great." Lincoln admitted with a slight smile before frowning "But we know i'm not a god kid...so what could be the explanation for this." He added with Jordan giving a thoughtful hum.
"Well how the ritual work again.." she asked them with a thoughtful look.
"You offer your blood to the sacred doors...one will glow representing your pantheon...it will open to reveal the relics of the gods before you and you will need to find the one that is yours" said Haiku "you find it, touch it and gain the info about your god predecessor"
"Right..." Jordan gave a nod remembering her own failure of that ritual with the door not even opening for her, "that's how it is for the kids who go through it here in Royal Woods.." She frowned rubbing her chin, "or more specifically the kids here in north America who end up attending Skyrus." she said before looking over to them, "But what about the other countries and their own academies?" she asked as a thought occurred to her, "Do they use the same ritual?" She asked frowning, "And if they do wouldn't that mean they have artifacts that aren't available to us?"
"Thats...a good question" said Lincoln "I never thought investigating about that" he admitted "and none of my older sisters have talk about that either but i suppose once you get the power you simply not care if others do" he added
Then blinked as a thought occurred to him.
"So, wait...I might be a god kid after all?" He asked with a hopeful grin
"It's a possibility" said Haiku "or at least could mean your artifact is not in the vault"
"Not in the vault?" Lincoln repeated with a blink looking toward Haiku, "but I thought all the godly artifacts were in the vault." He said with open confusion
Jordan looked at the goth girl confused too.
"There are rumors..." said Haiku "that in the past some artifacts have been stolen from dying inhibitors" she explained "part of the reason GODA was created was to make sure that the relics of fallen gods return to the vault"
"Stolen by who...and why?" Jordan asked with a frown, "I mean I know artifacts of gods can be dangerous...but I thought only their owners could use them to their full power....right?" she stated before asking at the end more unsure.
"Its one of the many rumors going on in that dark corners of the world" said Haiku "who knows..." she turned to Jordan "maybe your artifact wasn't also in the vault and that's why none reacted to you"
This actually caused Jordan fists to clench with a hopeful gaze.
"I...really?" she asked nervously licking her lips admittedly she hadn't been the biggest fan of god kids especially after her experiences with her jerk of a ex Chandler...but to be able to get on their level.
"LINCOLN!!!"
A cry not far make them all turn.
"That sounded like Lori" said the white-haired boy
"The academy must have arrived"
"Let's continue this talk later when there are no godly ears close by" suggested Haiku.
"Agree" Lincoln said before raising his voice to shout out, "WE'RE HERE LORI!" He screamed out hoping to get his sisters attention.
However, they forgot there was ONE godly set of eyes and ears that managed to see and hear part of their conversation.
"uggg" Chandler grunted in pain as he tried to stand; all his right side had green veins product of the poison still burning inside him. "Urrg.." And as he let out a pained grunt all he could do was glare at the fucking freak behind all of this! "Larry...ugg...you freak..you..will pay" he called in pain trying to stand up.
It felt like his entire body was on fire and the only reason he hadn't passed out from the pain was thanks to not only the power and resistance godly power granted him and the hate that was coursing through his veins along with the poison.
Hate for being humiliated by these beasts, by that girl, and by Larry.
He will make them ALL pay.
