Summary:
After the fight there are many questions unanswered for everyone.
The parents that remained behind filled the auditorium of the school, all yelling for answers...answers that, unfortunately, Huggins didn't have; as Principal of Skyrus, he had also to remind behind to try to calm down the heated mood of the families of those hurt during the attack plus those wanting to know what or how those beasts:
A) Got loose
and
B) who got the "bright idea" of bringing them to a school filled with children in the first place?
And right now, as he stood behind the stage´s curtains of the auditorium, it appeared that his troubles were only beginning as some of the students gave their reports on something that happened during the fight.
"And that's what they said Principal Huggins." Persephone said with Cookie, Boris, and Morpheus stood next to her having not wasted any time in tracking down the principal to tell him what happened with the harpies first chance she got.
"Typhon? the father of monsters? are you certainly that's what they said?" asked the principal; He already had enough on his plate...now adding possible one of the biggest treats of the mythical era?
"That's what they said sir" Persephone said with a serious nod shared by the others (except Morpheus).
"I still say they were just trying to get in your head." The boy said with a scowl "if this Typhon was really such a threat, we'd have heard of him by now" He added with a scowl before looking at Higgins "Right...sir?" He trailed off however at the grave look on the principal face as he sighed.
"Sigh in part..." said Huggins "let's just say there are stuff only inheritors of high rank can learn of" said the reincarnation of Odin "I can't tell you all but...let's just say there are threats BIGGER than your typical monster..." he trailed "Typhon is one of those...but..."
"But what sir?" Cookie asked with a worried frown, "If there's a threat shouldn't we know about it?" She asked with Boris nodding beside her "Boris must admit to be being worried about mentions of war."
Huggins took a deep breath.
"Look...I know you are curious about this but this is something a group of first year shouldn't be messing with" he said "I will explain SOME things to you later once we finish fixing this mess but for now, I need you to keep quiet about this whole Typhon thing"
The students exchange wary looks.
"If you believe that is for the best sir." Persephone's said with a sigh before adding with a frown, "But if I may ask how serious is this potential threat?"
"On its own? capital BAD" said the principal "but a threat of war? I'm afraid there is no level that could cover the disaster that could come"
At that the students even the skeptical Morpheus all grouped.
"Boris thinks they need to double their training time " the boy said with a nervous tone.
"We need also to find more info" said Persephone.
"What you need is go home or go to the academy" called Huggins in strict tone "I will deal with the parents and the senior students can keep guard but all of you must go"
"But sir we could help!" Morpheus protests with a slight affronted look.
Huggins eyes became icy and literal frost appeared at his feet.
"You can help by not getting in troubles or unnecessary risks" he said with some heat in his tones "just because you have this power doesn't mean you can take on everything" he added "learn about your limits"
"But I.." Morpheus weakly protests but stopped at the look in the principal eyes "Yes sir. " He agreed with reluctant before the students started to walk away as the principal sighed.
"Young gods...I feel they get more reckless each new group" he sighed "and even they are not as bad as what I have to face" he added knowing now he has to face one thing ALL the educators fear...angry parents "Times like this I wonder if the original Odin had days like this." As he went out to face the music with the parent not wasting time screaming angrily at him
"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!?"
"A CHIMERA WHO IN THEUR RIGHT MIND APPROVED A CHIMERA!?"
"MY DAUGHTER'S LEG IS BROKEN!"
"MY BABY LITERAL WAS INCHES FROM AN ANGRY GIANT BULL!!"
"WHO WILL PAY FOR ALL THE DAMAGES!!"
"AND THE HOSPITAL BILLS"
"I WANT TO KNOW WHO WAS RESPONSABLE FOR THIS!!"
More and more the angry yells came as Huggins flinched.
"Easy now let's all calm down." He said raising his arms gesturing them to lower their voices.
It....kinda worked.
"HOW YOU WANT US TO CALM DONW!" Howard Mcbride exclaimed "you told us the exhibition would be safe for our kids yet my baby had to face off against a CYLOPS!!"
"Same cyclops that brought down at least 4 classrooms." Mr. Zhau called also in anger "be thankful they were empty as everyone went to lunch"
"Yet that didn't stop our kids to be exposed to that and a GIANT BULL!" Rita exclaimed too
"Or my daughter and her friends having to run for their lives!" Called out Girl Jordan´s dad angrily.
"Indeed, if not for young Lincoln Loud my dark flower fate could have been most grim." Added in Haiku´s mom with a frown.
Love darkness and death but neither her of her husband expected Haiku to leave for the underworld soon.
"And not all us had that luck" another parent called "my daughter is in route to the hospital with a broken arm and leg after a freaking MINOTAUR ram her!!!" he called.
"And my...my...son...he's... in INTENSIVE CARE!" Cried a mother crying into her hands "Were not even sure if he's going to make it!" She exclaimed tears running down her face before glaring, "AND ONLY REASON IM HERE IS TO GET ANSWERS!"
Answers
That was the one thing Huggins wish he could give.
"I assure you...we will investigate who approved these creatures to be brought in and also how they got loose..." he tried to call only for the parents to cry louder.
"Investigate?! THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU FREAKS WEREN'T AROUND!" One furious father called out shaking a fist at Huggins
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING FREAKS?!" Howard Mcbride exploded turning to the father.
"YOU HEARD ME!" The father snapped back with a red face "PEOPLE DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT REAL BREATHING MONSTERS TILL THESE SO-CALLED GODS SHOWED UP!"
"HEY!" Lynn called "Those gods are our children and they have been doing a good job keeping those monsters away from the city!"
"Oh yeah sure a great job" The father said sarcastically with an eye roll, "it's not like we have traffic accidents do to someone letting loose giant scorpions, or having storms out of season because a kid had a tantrum, nor think they can get away for crashing a building down only because they are the gods!" He exclaimed eye twitching, "And do I even have to go into how much damage your so-called kids have done over the years Loud?!" He added with a venomous glare.
"My oldest had to be in the hospital for 3 months after your daughter tackled him out!" another called.
"And I had my car covered in guts and blood of a creature after she punched one into it!"
"That lunatic prankster of yours sicked snakes on my boy!" One mother screamed out with fury.
Rita flinched at that
"They were garter snakes! they aren't dangerous!" Lynn exclaimed making his wife facepalm.
"And what about transforming into a bear to jump-scare during a birthday?!" a mother called "my baby had nightmares for weeks!"
Rita and Lynn shared grimaces at that particular incident.
"And do we even need to go into that so called match making disaster that one girl of yours caused." another woman said with a huff sending a poison glare to the two.
"Hey! Leni just need more practice" defended Rita "no one said being the goddess of love would be easy"
"SHE BRAINWASHED MY HUSBAND INTO HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH ONE OF HIS STUDENTS!" The woman screeched out furiously glaring at them "AND ALL BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT THE GIRL´S CRUSH ON HIM WAS SWEET!"
The Loud parents flinched at that.
Leni was a beautiful and sweet girl and more than obvious perfect to be the new Aphrodite...problem?...what she had in looks...she seems to lack in actual power to bring people together...or with the right one.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT DID TO OUR FAMILY!" The woman screeched out tears running down her face.
"It's like I said..." the first angry father said sending the louds a glare "Everything and everyone would be better off if those freaks weren't around!"
This opened the gates of Hades as parents began yelling at each other with Wilburn trying (and failing) to stop the fight.
And as the parents of God kids and non-god kids alike yelled hate at each other looking ready to break out into a fight the Loud parents themselves exchanges grimaces and worried looks wondering if it would be wiser to leave.
In that moment the door of the auditorium opened with force and a golden light showered everyone.
"Now, now let's all calm down" a sweet, cheerful tone called "we won't do any good if we start fighting among us"
From the entrance entered a woman with a muscular body, with light fair skin, a pointy nose, two pairs of eyelashes, short wavy blonde hair, white pearl earrings, a white bracelet on her left hand, and red lipstick. She was wearing short white toga dress alongside light golden armor pauldrons, chest piece (with an owl symbol), golden sandals on her feet and a golden headdress with pearls incrusted that looked like a laurel crown.
On her right shoulder she was carrying a small white/brown feather barn owl.
JANCEY YATES-REINCARNATION OF ATHENA (GREEK)
Wilbur was between relief but at the same time cautious of the arrival for she was the president of the Parent Association and she could be either his best ally...or his worst headache.
"How can you expect us to calm down when our children were almost killed!" Yelled out Jordan´s father angrily with a huff.
"Especially after you and the association assured us that there would be no danger." Haiku´s mom chimed in with a scowl.
"And they weren't" said the woman walking towards them "I can assure you all the precautionary measures were taken to ensure so" she said "what happened here wasn't neither fault of principal Huggins nor the school´s or the academy´s" she added with strong tone "No...this was sabotage plain and simple."
"Sabotage?!" Yelled out a shocked Lynn Sr as the surrounding parents start to mutter and trade concern suspicious looks, "but who...why!?" Rita asked shaking her head in disbelief
"The who we don't know Ms. Loud but your daughter, our high-estimated new Hephaestus, is actually running the investigation as we speak and she have assured me the beast didn't escape...they were released" called Ms. Yates
At this many of the parents' voices grew louder in worry and demands for answers while Huggins frowned a bit irritated, he wasn't informed of this sooner before sighing out as he spoke into the microphone podium on the stage.
"Do we have any evidence as to the identity of the culprit?"
He asked with a frown thinking back to the earlier scene with Chandler and his accusations toward one Lincoln Loud and how the boy could somehow control the monsters of all things
"For the moment all we have, its that the culprit had a connection or control over water as our little genius found ALL the cages locks to have been doused with water which seems to have caused a short-circuit which free the beasts" said the new Athena keeping her smirk.
However, this caused the father who had called the god kids freaks to huff out.
"So basically, what you're saying one of you freaks IS to blame for all this!" He snapped with a glare to the woman an eyebrow twitched.
"Absolutely not!" called Jancey keeping the smile and pose "Those inheritors that can control water in any aspect have been counted for and none were even closer to this school at the time the incident happened" she said "our suspicious are currently in a sapiens monster with links to water...a siren or a mermaid most certainly or maybe a water nymph"
"Oh how convenient!" The father scoffed out scowling at the woman "Sounds more like to me you all are trying to cover your tracks and dodge blame!" He snapped with some of the parents actually muttering in agreement and scowling at Jancey

"Doge blame?" she repeated "my good sir...if anything I want answers as much if not more than you" she declared "you are worry about your kids...I get that...but do you forget my own daughter is also an inheritor? and that she is in first line to fight this monsters?" she added for a moment glaring at the man "she and others like her risk her life EVERYDAY fighting creatures that could kill her, training and honing her powers to be a beacon of safety and victory for others" she added "if there is something I want over anything, it's to minimize the risk she could get into, so the fact SOMEONE transformed what should be a day to showcase said powers into another LIFE OR DEATH situation...it really makes me angry" she said her smile failing a moment "or are you implying me nor any of our inheritor parents worry about them the same than you?
This caused the crowd to mutter and look away while the father simply just kept his glare on the woman giving a low growl.
"Worried about your precious god kids maybe...not so much for those who aren't special!" He spat out fuming before adding with a smirk, "After all, don't you have two daughters?"
The owl on the shoulder of the woman puffed in anger.
"Yes, I do and my dear Belle is also special being first of the class and a star on her own right thank you very much" she said with a huff "but we are not here to talk about my family" she added "we are here to find out what happened and bring the guilty parties to justice" she glanced over them all "and that will be only be possible if we act civilize and stop pointing fingers at each other"
The crowd muttered but seemed to accept her words though many still had dark scowls and glares on their faces with the father who had been calling the god kids freaks huffing as he sat down glowering
"Now...dear Huggins already said the academy will help pay the medical care of all affected" Jancey said "well as president of the PA I think is also my duty to contribute to the healing of the affected…so I'm open to do blank checks from anyone that feel they will need it"
This caused many to give relieved looks happy to learn their loved ones would receive the help they needed however one mother still called out.
"What about the trauma from all this!?" She asked with a slight scowl, "money isn't exactly going to get rid of my poor little girl´s nightmares after this!"
"Then we can discuss later about any help you will need" said Jancey "anything you need I'm sure we can help you...after all" she looked at them "as a goddess if my duty to help you in anything you need"
And as Jancey worked over the crowd Huggins from where he stood gave a sigh of relief with it seeming like they would avoid a riot of angry parents after all though this latest information on the cause of the monsters being set loose on top of everything else he had learned so far just made him all the more worried for the potential storm on the horizon.
(With the Louds)
"Huff...protecting me from monsters yeah right...who he think he is?" Lincoln grunted as Vanzilla moved towards the Loud house.
After the...reunion…with his old "friends" Lincoln was obviously NOT in a good mood as he grunted all the way from the school.
"And try to flirt with my sis? I should have..." he made a movement as he was chocking someone
"Personally, I literally never really liked him in the first place." Lori said at the wheel to Lincoln with a frown, "his crush went from amusing to literally creepy way too quickly." she added with a disgusted look
"Don't remind me" he huffed in anger "I had to be around him each time he...went robot...at seeing you" he added with rage slowly entering his eyes "and I had his back with you, had his back in each bloody nose, had his back for each embarrassing moment and the fist moment he gets some magical fishing tool he STABS ME in the back"
RUMBLE!!
Outside a thunder was heard but not lighting nor cloud in the sky
"Well, that's ominous..." Lynn Jr said with a blink as she looked up out to the sunny sky
"The high spirits must be angry alongside Lincoln´s turmoiled soul" said Lucy.
"Tch well I won't be against them cursing Clyde and Rusty" called Lincoln in anger before turning to his young siblings "on that note if that guy try to approach any of you, you must promise to run away and look for me am I clear?"
"Please Lincoln like we can't handle that loser god or not." Lola said with an eye roll and frown
"Pff yeah Rusty is barely making it in the Academy" said Lynn happily they were down 3 siblings so she could enter easily in the van "he is getting better with that bow buts it" she mocked "healing power? pff as if I would need it…and what was the other thing? oh yeah music" she thought over "yeah you better don't even ask about that one"
"Like a cat´s nails on a chalkboard" Lincoln asked anyway with a smirk causing Lynn to snort as her brother let out a low laugh, "guess god talents don't amount to much if you aren't talented" Lincoln said with a chuckle
"Yeah, not everyone can be as talent as a god as me" boasted Lynn making her siblings to roll eyes.
"Just wait until I find my godly past" said Lola "then you will see talent" she told her family smugly as they all rolled their eyes well used to the boasting Lola made like this with Lincoln sometimes not sure if he sometimes hoped she won't be disappointed or would feel the same disappointment he did but he waved that dark thought away as Lana spoke up.
"Well, whatever it is I bet it's nothing compared to mine!" Lana boasted with an eager grin. "I will be like...the god of animals or maybe the god of mud!" she called excited.
"Gross!" Lola said sticking out her tongue while Lincoln gave a chuckle.
"Well don't know about the second but I'm pretty sure a good number of god of animals."
"ummmm" Lucy sighed.
"I suppose you also hope for a particular deity" asked Lincoln.
"Perhaps...but I don't have false hopes" said Lucy "I know no one have ever taken up the crown of Persephone so I don't expect me being the exception"
"The what of who?" asked Lynn scratching her head.
"Seriously Lynn?" asked Lori "no wonder you keep failing history" she added with the reincarnation of Hercules pulling out her tongue at her.
"Persephone the goddess of spring and daughter of Demeter goddess of harvest, fertility, and the earth." Lucy explained in a monotone tone "and most importantly the bride of Hades and the Queen of the Underworld." she explained with Lynn giving a blink.
"So what? a combo of Lucy and Leni then?" The muscular sister asked with an arched brow from her seat.
"Pretty much" said Lincoln "but she was also known as the iron queen, the destroyer of men and bringer of death" explained Lincoln. "Equal to Hades in power and authority"
"My personal heroine" said Lucy with a micro smile.
"Heh certainly aiming high huh spooky?" Lynn jr. chuckled out with amusement and a smirk.
"Sigh...yeah but as I said, I don't have high hopes" said Lucy.
"The crown is part of the untouched ones" said Lincoln "a small group of relics that have never been claimed by anyone...ever"
"Sounds like there's a story there?" Lana said with a blink looking over to their brother.
"it's not that interesting actually" said Lincoln "ever since the relics were found there have been a group of them that never have been claimed...no one from my generation, nor Lori´s, nor even the principal´s...those gods simply...never returned...or if they did, for some reason, never claimed their relics nor their power"
"Some say it's just because they haven't been reborn yet." Lori said with a shrug of her shoulders while stopping at a red light, "After all while it's been decades since this whole thing started there's still a lot about inheritors and the artifacts we literally don't know about."
"Yeah, like how the heck the old us kicked the bucket in the first place." Lynn Jr chimed in bluntly.
"Indeed, or how or why they got reincarnated on us" added Lori "but you can count how many Heras have been before me or Hercules before Lynn"
"But Im still the best" boasted Lynn again.
"Sure..." trailed Lori rolling her eyes "but the Untouched ones? there are zero records about anyone claiming them before"
"Sounds cool!" Lana exclaimed with an eager smile.
"For once I agree." Lola said with an arrogant smirk "Why I just bet my relic is waiting for me among those untouched" she said with a low laugh while Lana rolled her eyes before giving a blink.
"Wait..." she frowned "If there have been other Heras and Hercules before..." Lori and Lynn suddenly traded concerned looks realizing they might have said a bit too much, "And there's still plenty of old god kids...or adults around like your principal..." Lana suddenly gave her sisters a look of worry, "Then…what happen to all the Hera's and Hercules before you?"
"Ummmm" at this Lori and even Lynn couldn't find an answer; or more exactly an answer they could give their LITTLE sister.
God powers and all but Inheritors were still…well…humans, and could still meet their end (mostly at the jaws of some monsters), and when that happes, the relic simply was returned to the vault waiting for the next one to carry the soul of said god to claim it next.
"That's a good point" called Lola agreeing with her twin "what happen to the old ones that held the tittles?"
Both elder sisters gulped not knowing what to say not wanting to expose their younger siblings to one of the harsher truths of the inheritors.
Fortunately for them, their sole brother was able to think on something
"Remember those pageant shows you like where the old queen gives up her crown to the new one?" asked Lincoln "well this is the same...the old Hera´s and Hercules couldn't no longer be...so they give their crowns to Lori and Lynn"
"Hmmm...I suppose that makes sense…" Lola said rubbing her chin thoughtfully while Lynn and Lori let out a sigh of relief; trust Lincoln to save the day.
The light changed to green.
"So that means the crown of this queen Persephone it's up to be taken?" asked Lola "because it might take some time to get used to the whole...darkness and such...but queen...that sounds a title for me"
"Don't even think about it." Lucy told her bluntly with a scowl.
"Huff as you said you don't think you will claim the crown so" Lola pulled out a mirror and fixed her make-up "why don't you let a REAL QUEEN take it?"
At those words Lucy actually gave a low growl while tension suddenly spiked in the van.
"And here we go..." Lincoln said with a sigh already knowing this wouldn't end well.
"If you are queen of something it would be queen of the banshees" called Lucy.
"Better than queen of creepies!" Lola snapped back.
"At least i dont need to wear fake crowns because can't accept will never wear a REAL one"
At that Lola let out a gasp.
"You…take…that...back!" she snapped with a glare.
"Make me" Lucy said back.
And like Lincoln guessed...a war cry was the only warning they had before Lola pounced on Lucy and a fight started.
"Hey...hey...HEY!" Lori yelled out trying to keep her eyes on the road, "Not while I'm driving!" she called angrily over her shoulder, "Are you literally trying to make us crash!?"
"She started it!!!" Lola cried pointing at Lucy.
"Well, I'm ending it!!" Lori called back "behave or I will turn you both into cows!"
The two sisters gave slight scowls but conceded as they turned away from each other.
"Wait..." Lynn than spoke out and arched a brow to Lori "I thought you were still working on that trick?" she mentioned with an arched brow
"Hahahaha she is...I still remember when she arrived home and she had this ud..."
"LANA LITERAL SHUP UP NOW!!!" cried Lori her eyes glowing like rainbows (and her face turning red like a tomato).
However, the others had heard enough to start laughing as their imaginations took hold with Lori growling in embarrassment.
"Literally hate you all." she said with a low tone scowling.
"Hey at least laughing like this help ease tension" said Lynn "I can't wait to tell the others how I saved Lincoln today" said Lynn with a smile.
At that Lincoln gave a frown as the laughter stopped.
"And how did you do that?" He asked with an arched brow "No offense, but the monsters were gone by the time you girls got to me."
"HA that's because they knew I already beaten the big ones and decided to run before facing me!" she boasted flexing her muscles.
"Right..." Lincoln said shaking his head before giving a low groan "I still can't believe all this chaos happen." He said with a frown crossing his arms, "And what's worse, considering Chandler was ready to blast me to a crisp after I tried to stop him from hurting girl Jordan, I can't even say it's a complete bad thing it happen either." He admitted before he realized what he said as the sisters paused processing what he just said.
"Wait...HE LITERALLY DID WHAT!?" Screamed out Lori in fury as she slammed hard onto the brakes.
"WHOA!!" everyone cried as they were sent off their seats.
"Lori more careful!!!" called Lincoln at the sudden stop.
"Forget about that!" Lori snapped turning to face Lincoln with a scowl but also worry in her eyes, "What did you just say about Chandler!?" She demanded because so help her if that little creep thought he could hurt HER brother and get away with it...well he was going to find out why Hera wrath was so feared in the old days!
"uggg...Haiku and I saw him trying to harass Jordan so I jumped in to tell him off" huffed the white haired boy "you can guess he was ready to throw thunderbolts right there and then"
"Grrr why that little..." Lori growled out in a low angry voice as her form started to glow with power.
"Wait.." Lynn however was giving Lincolnton a look of concern, "By harassing Jordan what do you mean?" She asked with a dark scowl because even she knew that the original Zeus had a..... reputation to say the least when it came to women that caught his eye and not in a good way.
If that little creep was starting to follow in the original Zeus footsteps in other ways...well than a she might need to have a few...words with him.
"Apparently he was double-timing her...and she was breaking things with him" answered the boy "he didn't like that and was about to hurt her" a small growl build up on his throat remembering the lighting and Jordan's scared face.
"He was what?!" The sisters demanded all of them now sharing dark looks.
"Urg I knew the guy looked like a creep but didn't think he was such a brute!" Lola huffed out while Lynn and Lori traded looks of concern.
"Ok...now! I know who I will put through my SPECIAL training course next time i have to help with training" said Lynn with a predatory smile.
"And I think Principal Huggins would be literally very interested to know what Chandlers been up." Lori added with a huff.
Lincoln rolled his eyes there.
He knew as one of the "king of gods" Chandler was basically worshiped by most and had a lot of immunity which have made him be able to basically do whatever he wasn't with little to no consequences.
"Maybe next time he tries something bad Lincoln could hit him" Lana suggested.
"Heh, believe me…I would an excuse to punch his ugly face in.." Lincoln muttered out with a frown before letting his tongue slip "it's because of jerks like him some people hate or fear god kids." He added with a huff never mind his own issues related to them.
His older sisters however, don't seem to share his point of view.
"Lincoln what you did for that girl was brave and all but...well...I don't think you should take unnecessary risks and try mess with an inheritor" said Lori "let me and the others handle this"
"Yeah...sure." Lincoln said trying to hide his frown and slight feeling of irritation figures his sisters thought their weak mortal of a brother was hopeless and helpless without them to step in and fight his battles for him a dark part of him thought resentfully.
"Yeah Link...just let your awesome sister take care of that idiot" called Lynn "once I'm done with him he won't want to even look at you"
"Sure, he won't." Lincoln thought with a sarcastic eye roll wishing that Lynn didn't treat him like a fragile doll ever since she became an official god kid it was like she couldn't understand that just because he was a mortal didn't mean he couldn't take care of himself.
Sure, they didn't know about his..."monster taming powers" (still working on the name) but still it's not like he is openly looking fighting creatures!
He just wanted them to see that he could take care of himself, that he could be just as good, just as special as they were!
"I can fight my own battles you know?" said Lincoln crossing his arms sitting down looking out the window.
"Heh yeah but you can't deal with gods or monsters Lincoln." Lynn said with a little laugh giving her brother what to him appeared to be condescending grin "just stick with mortal bullies and worries." she told him before adding with a snort, "I mean seriously doubt you'll get lucky enough to avoid becoming monster chow again if any of those things got near you." she added shaking her head with amusement before adding with a grumble "honestly I thought that one gorgon incident was bad."
Lincoln huffed.

Lynn winced at that memory while Lori shot her a look as she started to drive again.
"Hehe...well I was sort of right...right?" Lynn said in defense with a weak grin
"Yeah, but end up crashing into Beatrix and in turn cause us both to fall down wasn't pretty" he scoffed.
"Eh if you ask me the girl enjoyed the position you ended up in" Lynn said back with a slight teasing smirk, "I mean do you remember how red her face was!" she added with a loud laugh.
Lincoln felt his own face heating on.
It was quite the bad luck (although many would think otherwise) that (somehow) Beatrix´s chest armor snapped at the fall causing him to have direct contact with the robe-covered breast once they hit the ground.
"Heck come to think of it she's always acted nervous around Lincoln or turns red when he's brought up since then." Lynn added rubbing her chin "maybe she has a crush~" she finished in a sing song tone
"LYNN DONT START!" called Lincoln with a blush.
Sure, the eldest Yates sibling was…beautiful...and since she got those wings, she looked like an angel...
He shook his head.
"We barely have crossed two words" he added "it's not like she could be interested or anything"
"And why not?" Lola asked with a blink looking over him with an arched brow, "I mean yeah you're no god Linky." she added carelessly with a shrug missing the dark look that temporarily crossed her brothers but Lori spotted in the rearview with a slight frown, "but you're plenty cute, sweet, and certainly more dependable than a lot of guys." The little girl explained as if she was an expert on romance.
Lincoln blinked at that.
"I...thanks Lola...." he said sincerely...it felt good to be called like that even if it was only by his young sibling.
"What? I'm only stating the obvious." Lola said back with a shrug and confused blink sure Lincoln wasn't a god kid but he was still her and brother and as far as she was concerned any girl would be lucky to have him
"Umm...it sounds special when a soon-to-be queen say it" called Lincoln back with a smile.
At that Lola found herself letting out a giggle and proud smirk.
"You know it buster" she replied back while adjusting her tiara.
"Umm although I hope you don't plan to break Haiku´s hearth" called Lucy "you might be my brother but I won't forgive you if you play her" she said in her normal tone but Lincoln caught the warning on it.
"Urg Lucy we're just friends!" Lincoln groaned out as all his sisters shared a laugh and, despite himself, he felt a smile of his own forming.
