Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Eggs

The garments the designed were simple royal blue however there was an over coat with ten insignias on it some were familiar to me like Water, Fire, and Life.

But there were others I hadn't known for the time at least. Then the second reason as to why I was called all the eggs had hatched.

I was shocked thinking it'd take longer however the Workers explained to me the rules of Rarity. Which basically explains the more rare the egg is the more difficult it is to hatch.

After coming to a somewhat understanding I was led by the Workers to the main hall seeing what can only be considered chaos.

Four small creatures were destroying the surrounding architecture of the room.

The one causing the most damage was a baby bird that had the body of a woodpecker but its feathers were bright gold and its eyes had blue circles around them. Its head also had a small thunderbolt through its feathers.

The bird creature was shooting lighting from its mouth causing small fires to erupt from wherever it lands.

The second most damaging one was the creature I could only assume was from the red egg.

The body of the creature had something similar to a velociraptor however its scales were beat red with horns on its head with a yellow underbelly.

Unlike the velociraptor the creatures hands were as big and long as an average humans.

Its other features that had more interest were the sharp shark like teeth and a fire emitting from its tail.

The final trait was its green eyes that emitted hostility keeping me and the Workers from moving forward.

The other two creatures were more docile. The most docile seemed to be in a figure close to the second creature having a velociraptor like body. However yes they shared a yellow underbelly it was difficult to see if not for the short tree trunk around its body.

Two other individual traits were its green scales instead of red and its tail and headrest feathers similar to the second creatures scale color being red.

Another surprising feature are its green like spikes on its back seemingly to resemble grass blades.

The fourth and final creature was more proactive than the third creature in trying to calm down the duo who's been trying to destroy the room.

The creature seemed to be a tie between both a rock and a gorilla who had a set of rocks forming from the back working its way up to its head and shoulders.

Where on the shoulders formed a ring of rocks around from the blade of the shoulder all the way around back to it.

As the monsters did what they wanted I watched in amazement as I've never seen creatures like these before.

While the Workers were scared I watched in awe as they continued to do what they did until one of the Workers stepped to me asking in a whisper.

"Sir if you could….please….stop them."

At the tug I looked towards the Worker who looked scared for his life like these creatures could actually cause harm.

Bringing me back from my blank space I look to the other Workers who shared the same fear the one who tugged me had.

And I realized that I was being relied on I never knew this feeling but like most drugs.

It takes an inch to go the mile. And just like any junkie at the time I complied and said sheepishly.

"S-stop!"

Then as if time had slowed all the monsters in front had stopped attacking, mitigating, and lazing around and looked at me.

And as if something in there very being took over they all obeyed and even walked towards me sitting in front of me awaiting my next words no order.

I looked to the Workers seeing if they could possibly help but they were bowing to me so their heads were on the ground.

"Um. Do y'all eat?"

At the mention of food all the creatures stared at me with starry eyes filled with anticipation.

I was overwhelmed by this and instinctively looked to the Workers asking.

"Um do we have food?"

The Workers without hesitation jumped up from the ground with practiced ease biding me a brief farewell while they procured the food.

After a short wait two of the Workers brought back wheelbarrows full of red tomato's?

I was distracted by the weird choice of food but the creatures behind me had other ideas.

As they jumped behind me I felt the wind pass me by as I saw each wheelbarrow be taken by two monsters each sharing their fare share of the food eating even the stems.

As they ate I saw the innocent side to them as they filled their faces giving me a sense of something I never truly knew.

While watching one of The Workers called me away where I followed leading me to a place I can only explain as beautiful.

Located on the center island was a tree with blue leaves that had a pink bottom to them. The tree itself had split into three.

While the roots were hooked to a pond that just exhumed peace and tranquility filling something inside me with something I again never knew the name of but of a different feeling. Something more.

After staring awhile the Worker spoke to explain the origin of this land mark.

"Sir this is the Passion pond where monsters are sent to create more monsters through the entanglement of magical energies. There is another location known as the Cavern Cove."

I looked at the Worker in confusion and asked.

"What do you mean by 'Entanglement of Magic'?"

The Worker looked confused and looked back at his lord slowly answering.

"It is when two different monsters exchange magical residue that emits off them where then both energies come together forming an egg."

"I see."

I actually didn't until I was given the talk about sex and other things around the topic which would come several years into the future.

But then before I knew it I awoke back to the real world again.
