The looks of lust on the men and women inside of the conference room weren't ones that I was unfamiliar with. However, instead of the looks being directed toward me, they were staring at Tank as if they had found some sort of priceless treasure.
Removing my hand from his back, the flames quickly died out, and Tank rolled his eyes as he looked over at me. "It's okay, baby," I purred, scratching him behind the ear. "Let's see who else can light your fire… hum?"
Now, I never claimed to be a rational person, so it should come as no surprise to anyone that I was already planning on where to dig the grave of anyone who was able to control the Hellhound.
Tank was mine, and I wasn't sharing. The rest of the world would just have to get caught up on that fact.
"You need to leave," advised Jonas as he turned his smug smile toward me. "I don't want you manipulating any of the results just to win our bet."
