Chapter 6 - DINNER ENDS,DANGER STARTS

The dining room in the Uzumaki household is a warm and cozy space where the family gathers to share meals and make memories. Boruto sits at the sturdy, dark-wooden dining table, holding an empty plate and glass, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he says, "Heh-Heh... Doing all of this alone is another great feeling, dattebasa." Across from him, Himawari sat with an empty glass and plate in front of her, her eyes fixed on Boruto with anticipation. Boruto affectionately pats Himawari's hair and asks, "Are you ready?" Himawari's face lights up with excitement as she responds with a enthusiastic "Hmm!!" The soft, warm lighting and traditional Japanese decor create a welcoming atmosphere, with family photos and artwork adorning the walls, adding to the sense of warmth.

Ino Yamanaka's flower shop, "Ino's Flower Crown," was filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers. Ino, the skilled kunoichi and sensor, stood behind the counter, her eyes closed as she focused on her Mind Transfer Jutsu. She was communicating with Nishi, a talented sensor and shinobi, who was currently on guard duty at the Hokage Office main gate within the village. "Where is this chakra coming from, and have you noticed its presence before in the village?" Ino asked, her thoughts transmitted directly into Nishi's mind.

Nishi's response came immediately, his voice clear in Ino's mind. "No, Ino-san, I have never sensed this sinister chakra's presence in the village before. It's unlike anything I've encountered. Its darkness is palpable, and it seems to be growing stronger by the minute."

Ino's eyes snapped open, her expression concerned. She quickly scribbled some notes on a piece of paper, her mind racing with possibilities. "Keep tracking the chakra, Nishi. We need to uncover who is this person with this much incredible amount of chakra and put an end to it before it's too late."

A figure was standing alone on a pillar, wrapped in a black cloak that looks like a dark cloud. His hair is a deep blue color, like a clear night sky, and it falls down his back in soft waves. Yet, his youthful appearance seems almost unnatural, as if the lines of time have been erased from his face, and the vigor of youth has been restored. The moon shines down on him, casting a silver glow on his dark hair and cloak. His face is hidden in the shadows, making him look mysterious and a little scary. He stands very still, like a quiet hunter waiting for his prey. His cloak moves gently in the wind, making him look like a dark angel. His back is turned to the village, and he seems lost in thought, staring out at something far away.

Ino's thoughts echoed in Nishi's mind through the Mind Transfer Jutsu. "Any idea where it's headed to?" she asked, her mental voice laced with urgency.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Sakura's eyes widened as she sensed the sudden surge in chakra. "What was that?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.Sasuke, standing beside her, turned to Naruto. "Did you sense that, Naruto?" he asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Naruto nodded, his brow furrowed in concentration. "Yeah, I did. It felt like...a massive amount of chakra, but it's different from anything I've sensed before."

The mysterious figure in the black cloak jumped down from the pillar, his movements fluid and silent. He landed gracefully on the ground, his dark blue hair fluttering around his face. Without drawing attention to himself, he blended into the crowd, walking down the main street of Konoha with an air of quiet confidence.

Nishi's voice echoed in Ino's mind once more. "He's at the main street of Konoha, and he's heading somewhere slowly..."

Ino's eyes widened in surprise. "What?!" she exclaimed, her mental voice laced with urgency. "How is that possible? He's just...walking around like a normal person!"

The mysterious figure in the black cloak navigated through the bustling streets of Konoha, his dark blue hair blending with the shadows. He approached a Shinobi, who was walking with a sense of purpose, oblivious to the figure's presence. The man's chakra was suppressed, making him nearly undetectable, like a ghost hovering among the living.

With a sudden, swift movement, the figure closed the distance between them, his footsteps silent on the stone pavement. He reached out and tapped the Shinobi's shoulder, his voice low and husky. "Hey, you..."

The Shinobi spun around, startled, his eyes widening in surprise. He hadn't sensed anyone approaching, no warning signs, no hint of danger. His hand instinctively went to his forehead protector, a reflexive gesture, as he took in the stranger's appearance.

The mysterious figure stood tall, his face still shrouded in shadows, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity. His black cloak billowed around him, like a dark cloud, making him almost invisible in the fading light of day.

The Shinobi's eyes darted around, searching for backup, but the figure was alone, a solitary presence that seemed to draw the light out of the air. "W-what do you want?" the Shinobi stuttered, trying to hide the tremble in his voice.

no's mind racing, she focused on the Mind Transfer Jutsu, connecting with Nishi once more. "I need the exact location, hurry up fast!!" she urged, her mental voice laced with urgency.

Nishi's response came swiftly. "Um, the intruder is still on the streets, but no sign of killing... yet."

Back on the streets, the Shinobi demanded, "Who are you?!"The mysterious man replied, his voice calm and collected, "I am a little lost. Mind telling me the way towards Hokage's house?"

The Shinobi, still wary, hesitated before answering, "Go straight on this road, turn left, then move towards the east. The third house on that street is orange-colored."

The mysterious man nodded, his gaze piercing through the Shinobi, before turning to leave. "Alright, now I'll be going," he said, without a hint of gratitude.

With that, he sprang into action, his movements fluid and graceful. He jumped onto the nearest rooftop, his feet barely making a sound on the tiles. He sprinted across the rooftops, his black cloak billowing behind him like a dark cloud.

His footsteps were light and swift, almost ethereal, as if he were gliding across the rooftops rather than running. He leaped from one house to the next, his body arcing through the air with ease, his cloak fluttering behind him.

With each jump, he seemed to defy gravity, his movements almost supernatural. He traversed the rooftops with an uncanny agility, his eyes fixed on some distant point, his destination unknown.

Here's the continued scene at the hospital:

Naruto paced around the corner of the room, his frustration evident. "Of course, it would take some time for me to come! I'm also busy," he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls.

"Ino hasn't informed me yet, so the situation might be stable. I don't think I'm required to intervene, as I'm also working on something important."Naruto continued

"Don't panic... just order the sensory team to track the person's exact location secretly, so they won't know they're being followed. And ask them to be on guard."Naruto told that shinobi.

Naruto after having a talk with that shinobi asked Sasuke, "I think he's not that person. What are your thoughts on this?"

Sasuke didn't respond, lost in his own thoughts. "If a normal person like Sakura had sensed it so quickly, then it really must be a great chakra," he thought to himself, his eyes narrowing in contemplation. His mind flashed back to the times he had sensed powerful chakra before, and how it had always led to significant consequences.

Yamato, lying in bed, his eyes fixed on the ceiling, spoke up, his voice weak but laced with concern. "I think this intruder is that same old man," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. His chest rose and fell with each labored breath, his body weakened by illness or injury.

Sasuke's thoughts continued to swirl around the mysterious chakra, his mind racing with possibilities. He couldn't shake off the feeling that it was something extraordinary, something that could potentially tip the balance of power in their village. His gaze drifted towards Naruto, wondering if the Hokage was prepared for what might come.

Yamato, meanwhile, lay in bed, his body still recovering from the strain of his last mission. Despite his physical weakness, his mind remained sharp and alert, his years of experience and knowledge guiding his thoughts. He had dealt with the old man before and knew that his presence never boded well. His eyes fluttered closed, his chest rising and falling with each labored breath, as he hoped that Naruto would take the necessary precautions to protect their village.

Naruto, sensing the tension in the room, spoke up again, "We need to be careful. If it's really him, we can't afford to underestimate him." His eyes darted between Sasuke and Yamato, seeking their agreement.

Naruto said, "Alright, the village's safety relies on Yamato Taichou's safety. Who knows, his whole body might be devoured this time." His words were laced with concern, but also a hint of humor, trying to lighten the mood.

Sakura's eyes widened in shock, and she shouted, "Naruto!!" Her voice was stern, scolding him for his insensitive comment.

Naruto's smile faltered, and he said, "Uh, sorry... dattebayo," as he sheepishly placed a hand behind his head, realizing his mistake. His eyes darted towards Yamato, who lay in bed, his expression weak but stern.

Sasuke, still lost in thought, didn't react, but his gaze remained fixed on Naruto, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Yamato, despite his weakened state, spoke up, his voice firm, "Naruto's right... my safety is crucial. I won't let that old man get the best of me." His determination was evident, even in his frail condition.

A sensory Shinobi standing on the branch of a tree, gazing out at the village, focused their mind and used the Mind Transfer Jutsu to contact Ino. "Ino-san, reporting in. The man whose data is unmatched is wearing a black cloak and moving towards the east. Your orders?"

Ino's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with possibilities. "Moving towards the east..." she muttered to herself, her brow furrowed in concern.

"What could be so important over there?" she thought, her mind working overtime to analyze the situation. The east side of the village was home to the training grounds, the famous Ichiraku Ramen shop, and... the Uzumaki house, where Naruto's family lived.

"Could it be the training grounds? Is he looking to disrupt our training operations?" She dismissed the idea, thinking it unlikely. The man's chakra signature was too powerful, too refined, for such a simple goal.

Ino's mind was racing with possibilities, her thoughts jumping from the training grounds to the Ichiraku Ramen shop. But then, like a bolt of lightning, a new possibility struck her. The Uzumaki house. Naruto's family home.

Her eyes widened in shock, her breath catching in her throat. "Don't tell me...!!" she exclaimed, her voice barely above a whisper. The thought sent a chill down her spine. What could this mysterious man want with the Uzumaki family?

Ino's grip on her comms device tightened, her knuckles white with tension. She knew she had to act fast, to protect the people she cared about. "I need to get Sasuke-kun and Naruto on this, now," she thought, her mind racing with the urgency of the situation.

Ino's voice was laced with urgency as she contacted Naruto and Sasuke through the Mind Transfer Jutsu. "Guys, listen to me very carefully! A huge chakra is heading towards Naruto's house!"

Naruto's eyes widened in shock, his mind racing with the implications. "What did you say?" he asked, his voice trembling with concern. He was sitting next to Sasuke in the hospital room, and he could see the same shock and alarm reflected in Sasuke's eyes.

Ino's words cut through him like a knife. "And Naruto, your children are alone at home." The thought of his family in danger sent a chill down his spine.

Sasuke's expression turned grim, his eyes locking onto Naruto's. "Let's go," he said, already standing up.

Naruto didn't need to be told twice. He was already on his feet, his mind focused solely on getting to his children. "Boruto and Himawari... they're just kids... they can't defend themselves..." He felt a surge of protectiveness, his instincts screaming at him to get to his family as fast as possible.

The Uzumaki house was quiet, the only sound the soft hum of the evening lights. The dining table was set, a delicious dinner spread out before the two children. Boruto's eyes widened as he took in the sight of the pancakes, his favorite.

"Let's dig in!" Boruto exclaimed, rubbing his hands together in anticipation.Himawari nodded, a smile on her face. "Yeah! I'm starving!"

The two children sat down, ready to enjoy their meal together. The warm glow of the dinner table cast a cozy light on their faces, a sense of peace and normalcy that belied the danger heading their way.

Unbeknownst to them, the mysterious figure with the huge chakra was closing in, mere moments away from reaching the Uzumaki house. The tranquility of the dinner scene was about to be shattered, and Boruto and Himawari's lives were about to change forever.

Midnight had fallen over Senju Park, casting a dark and serene atmosphere. Two men stood on the stairs, oblivious to the danger lurking in the shadows. One, a tall and lean figure with spiky black hair and a relaxed demeanor, leaned against the railing, his hands tucked deep into his pockets. His eyes, narrowed in a mixture of amusement and skepticism, gazed at the other man.

The second man, shorter and thin, with short, black hair and a stern expression, stood with his back turned, his gaze fixed on some point in the distance.

The first man, with a hint of a smile, said, "Geez, kids are so simple-minded... Give me a reason to trust these children, Mr. Black Ops Director."

The second man didn't respond, his gaze unwavering. They were both calm, unaware of the danger unfolding in the village.

But then, a voice echoed in the first man's mind, shattering the tranquility. "Shikamaru! Shikamaru!!" Ino's urgent voice broke through the silence.

The first man's expression turned serious, his eyes widening slightly. "What is it, Ino?" he thought, his mental tone firm and commanding.

no's urgent voice echoed in Shikamaru's mind again, "Where are you?" Sai, sensing the tension, turned to Shikamaru and asked, "Is it Ino?"

Shikamaru nodded, his eyes still focused on the mental conversation. "Yes, it's her."

He then replied to Ino, "Why? I'm at Senju Park with Sai. What happened? Why are you panicked?"

Shikamaru's eyes widened in shock as Ino's words echoed in his mind. "Reach Naruto's home as soon as possible and tell Sai to inform all Jonins. It's an enemy attack!"

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. An enemy attack? But why Naruto's house? He thought to himself, "But Ino... Ino..." trying to ask her for more information, but it was too late. Ino had already released her Mind Transfer Jutsu, cutting off their mental connection.

"DAMM IT! SHE RELEASED THE JUTSU!" Shikamaru exclaimed, frustration etched on his face.

He stood there for a moment, trying to process the information. Why would the enemy attack Naruto's house? It didn't make sense. If it was an enemy attack, shouldn't they be targeting the village itself? The Hokage's office, the training grounds, or the residential areas? But Naruto's house?

Shikamaru's mind was racing with questions. What could the enemy possibly want with Naruto's family? Boruto and Himawari were just kids... and Naruto was always busy with his Hokage duties... It just didn't add up.

Despite his confusion, Shikamaru knew he had to act fast. He turned to Sai and said, "We need to move, now! Inform all Jonins, it's an enemy attack!" Sai nodded and took off, leaving Shikamaru to rush towards Naruto's house, his heart filled with a sense of urgency and foreboding.

Naruto sprinted across the rooftops, his feet pounding against the tiles as he desperately tried to reach his home. Ino's voice echoed in his mind, urging him on. "Hurry up, as soon as possible!"

Naruto's heart raced with fear, his mind consumed by thoughts of his family's safety. He could feel the distance between him and his home dwindling, but it wasn't fast enough.

Ino's voice came through again, her words laced with a hint of reassurance. "If you won't be able to reach there on time, then don't worry, I'm sure Hinata could... So I'm going to..."

But Naruto cut her off, his voice loud and firm in his mind. "NO, INO! DON'T INFORM HINATA! I DON'T WANT HER TO GET HURT!"

Ino's words trailed off, her mental presence taken aback by Naruto's outburst. She understood his concern, but she also knew that Hinata was a skilled kunoichi, capable of handling herself.

However, Naruto's fear for his wife's safety was palpable, and Ino knew better than to argue with him in this state. She remained silent, her mind focused on finding another way to ensure the safety of Naruto's family.

Ino's mental voice acknowledged Naruto's request. "Alright, got it."Naruto's thoughts continued to race with worry. "Also, tell Boruto not to open the door. No matter who it is!"

Ino's response was swift and reassuring. "Onto it."With a burst of speed, Naruto leaped across another rooftop, his eyes fixed on the familiar outline of his home in the distance. His heart pounded in his chest, fueled by fear for his family's safety. He could only hope that he would reach them in time.

The Uzumaki house was warm and cozy, the dinner table filled with the savory aromas of Hinata's cooking. Boruto and Himawari sat across from each other, enjoying their meal.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang, shattering the peaceful atmosphere. DING DONG, DING DONG.Boruto, still chewing his food, looked up with a mixture of curiosity and annoyance. "NOM NOM, who could be at such an hour?"

Himawari's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Why would Mama come so early?" Then, a mischievous grin spread across her face. "What if Papa is here to have a taste of your cooking?"

She teased Boruto, her voice playful. "Cause why would Mama come so quickly? NOM NOM."

Boruto rolled his eyes good-naturedly, his mouth still full of food. Little did they know, their lighthearted moment was about to be disrupted by an unexpected visitor.
