While the two goddesses did their work, the villagers continued to build up the settlements. It was truly a sight to behold. Some of the stone-smiths had been inspired from the new clothing lines the seamstresses kept on developing. So as they laid the roads, a simple yet elaborate pattern appeared. It looked like two lines kept dancing with each other as they stretched into the distances, and from another perspective one could see elongated hexagonal shapes within the design.
Once this design had been installed as the border for the roads, it became a new source of inspiration for other artisans. Each using the idea of simple, yet elaborate straight lines to create interesting patterns. And though it was inspirational for all, the children took it to the next level. The children ended up making games similar to hop-scotch.
Later on, the design was used in other areas. Each area had a slight variation due to the difference in atmosphere of each location. Once it started to take off, Night Silver noticed it looked sorta like Celtic patterns she had once found in her research when making her character. Neat, this gives me a few ideas on what to name this country we've founded.
With days filled with work, fun, and overall peace… Time ticked ever forward, as it waited for no man, woman, nor child. Days began turning into weeks, and then into months. Undine and Night Silver along with many other women in the country were showing signs their pregnancy was nearing its end. And so, after a total of 8 months the citizens gathered, they didn't know what it was for, but if they were told to gather, they would.
Night Silver stood there, and looked around to see the massive group of people. I was right, we need a true name. Not just for this place, but a single unifying identity for my people as well. This was the right call. She then looked at her wife Undine, who nodded with a smile… And then she looked at Brightness, her husband, who also nodded with a proud smile.
"Everyone, my children. I have something important to announce." Night Silver began in her tender and loving tone, soothing over the somewhat anxious nerves of her audience. "I've long thought about this, and after seeing how this beautiful place has developed into such a thriving and loving atmosphere. It's time I give this home, this nation of ours… A name." She paused, taking note of the newly sparkling eyes of many people in her country. "And so, as the mother is akin to one's origin… In my divine name, I declare this land, this sanctuary for us all, to be… Tùs Nàdar!. It means Nature's Origin in a language from another world. And seeing as how it seems there is a cross between a few different cultures here, mixing to form another. I feel it's only right for us. And our people will be the Nadarian!"
With a new identity for the people and the country they all called home, a spring of emotion erupted from within the crowd. To some this might have seemed odd, or incomprehensible. But it's just the opposite really. These people had been working their hardest and developing a new life. A life with freedom at the forefront. They were safe from the dangers of the world, and yet free to choose exposure to that very thing. They were free to love whomever. They could build and design to their hearts' content. And now, a name that represents them and their people… Seemed like nothing less than the highest of blessings and honors. And then to cap it off, this was coming from the one they loved, respected, and revered the most. Emotions were bound to happen.
A few days later, families increased their numbers by welcoming their newborns into the world. Born as citizens of their homeland, the homeland of Tùs Nàdar. New and old parents alike began to feel the overwhelming emotion they had felt just the other day, well back up to the surface. Their children were born with a safe place that could stand on its own. It was a beautiful and heartwarming sight.
With each child born, the time for Undine and Night Silver drew ever closer. Yet, even though they could give birth at any time on any day now, they both made sure to visit with all of the families as they welcomed their new babies into the world. A ritual that the two felt they should continue regardless of what time of year it is. Both felt a great deal of love for their people and it only grew more as a result from the growing population. During one of these visits, the two of them were holding one of the newborns:
"Sil, isn't it weird. For some reason, I feel like I can sense the strength of their souls?"
"I can feel it too, though, I've felt something like this for quite awhile with the elves. Perhaps it's similar? Maybe we should ask Brighty about it?"
"Why him?"
"Well, I can confidently say this is not a normal Yggdrasil ability. Even with the devs of the game being money grubbers like they were, they wouldn't have added something like this into the game for players to use."
"I see, perhaps he does know. But let's worry about that after we finish making our rounds."
"Yeah, I want to see all of the babies! They're all so precious and adorable. I can't help but love them."
Night Silver kissed the baby on their tiny head, a light, long and motherly felt kiss. "Grow up to be what you want to be. And never forget you are free in this land. I'm excited to see what you do in your life. You have a brilliant future ahead of you, oh I just know you'll grow up into a beautiful young woman just like your mother." She said, handing the baby girl back to the new mother.
The baby went right to drinking milk. She seemed to be in a good mood too. This didn't last long though, as she fell asleep after Undine gave the girl a similar kiss on her tiny head.
"Pfft, thank you, mother, and thank you aunt for stopping by. I know that all of us feel blessed when you come to see our children." The new mother smiled, then turned to her husband with a smirk.
