Chapter 7 - Parasites Pt.3.

"There he is!" She said in glee as Park shut the doors behind him. The messenger thereafter, slithered up and about the doors, sealing it shut.

"You wanted to see me?"

"Sure! Here, catch!"

Dark and soundless, and he sadly couldn't react to it in time. He rubbed at his neck as he lowered himself to pick up the tiny seed on the floor next to him.

"Not a good way to introduce yourself buddy?"

Bewildered, he turned to Anu, "Y'ggrah...?"

"Eat it."

Huh?

"And it's just his first days here... "

He heard that. What was going on here? And what was this feeling he was getting? It was like they were not the only ones in that room. There was something, or things that were in the room with them. He didn't readily take the seed as he also tried to assess what was going on. Was it a test or what exactly was it?

"Your gears are turning too hard, just do as instructed please. You already followed a talking flower here. You just need to do the same right now and be done with it."

"So, eat it."

Then why do you look so tensed... Hah...

[The First Law of The ----- Print will now be activated...]

...

...Here goes nothing.

He firmly shut his eyelids as he downed the black seed.

"Didn't know you had such drama in you."

Nothing happened. No pain, no grumble, nothing...

...except a small blue screen.

"!"

"Do you feel anything?"

"No..."

"What's he staring at? Did anyone else have this effect?"

"I don't think so?"

But I'm being told otherwise...

Face was briefly blurry? But he looks okay to me, is there something I'm missing?

...

But at least the linking has gone well and it's been confirmed. But still, I have never seen it show such emotion before...

I didn't it's capabilities were this broad, and I also can't believe that such a thing is piggybacking her, it was only for a moment but I think I've seen enough and now I really wish to leave, so...

"Can I go now?"

I'll have to understand what this thing really is.

"Hmm... Sure," he bid them farewell before heading towards the door, now clear of the green.

But right before he had stepped out, "But I'll be seeing you around boy. Welcome to Dead Men Academy once more."

She didn't have to say it like that. But at least I now know what I need to do next... Wait, is this linked to what that message said earlier?

You're a lifesaver...

"Is that what you're happy about?"

"Just the person I wished to want... not to see."

"You're already becoming dumber."

"Hah," he opened the slightly ajar door, poking his head through, "Hey, you coming with?"

"..."

"Don't you think this is a bit...," the purple lights zapped back at him, quickly withdrawing his singed thumb into his mouth, he resumed, "...overkill...?"

The orb's new form did an exemplary job in restraining it's captive's movements.

How could he do that even if we told him not to do it? And also how did some of these people find themselves here?

"Right?"

...

Did he slam you too hard?

"I think," He stretched out his joints, feeling them out, "I'm all better now-"

"OOOOWWWWW!!"

This is an unprecedented discovery, but sad to an extent...

"Are Axe techniques the only things that you can stomach?"

Would you cut me some slack?! I'm also figuring things out in here! But this has been a harvest!

[Your Understanding over the Axe Arts has drastically risen.]

["Memories" is slowly rising in level.]

Ah yes, you. My dear friend who skyrocketed me to fame.

"Hah, if this was the only thing you wanted to show me then I think it's a bit lackluster, although special, lackluster."

Ouch...

"But, I'll give you something to do to pay back my wasted time...," also ouch..., the librarian stacked the books on top of each other and settled them on an empty table nearby.

"Please make sure that by the end of today, all these books that I so dearly gave you, have their contents back," "and you," he snapped the purple confine away, "make sure he's fed."

"?"

"Begin," Park stumbled into the chair as it slid over to the table. The librarian looked over his shoulder, slightly amused at Gionne's awareness as the quick-footed boy had already caught up with the current situation.

Park drew in breath as he prepared himself for this arduous task which he so pleasantly prepared for himself. He picked up the topmost book on the stack, and opened it's slightly yellowed pages. His friend couldn't see this go on and let him suffer alone, so it lessened the load.

[Kin has been realized, information relating to kin, "THE STORY OF THE AXE THAT SLAYED GIANTS" will now be retrieved.]

The great flow of information brought forth a burning desire to write, and so he wrote. A passion that he couldn't explain washed over him, he enjoyed every bit of it. Shaping each character with care, each stroke, curve and line had an incredible depth of love embedded into it.

# Didn't know we had a guest today-? #

[Invasive telepathy deemed distracting to user has been blocked out.]

I've been cut off?

"Something interesting happened?"

# ... #

# Your senses are so nosy sometimes. #

"And you're the one who's happy when I train them."

# Smart mouth... It seems I've been cut off by Mr. Writer over there. #

"Hmm... At least he's serious with his work unlike someone else..."

# I asked you if you would wish to have a curse work for you, you said and I quote, # she switched her tone trying to match his, # I would really like to do things myself, it's perfect that way and also prevents any bumbling oaf from ruining my work, # she switched back to herself, # and Lo and Behold, a bumbling oaf is writing books for you. #

"W...Well this is different."

# Yeah Yeah, sure it is. #

Smartmouth.

# Makes two of us now, doesn't it? #

"..."

"I used to be hailed as one of the greatest calamities to ever exist, people would tremble and crumble at the thought of my name," he placed his hand on the screen, "but I've been reduced into this sorry state, a mutt-!" It's miniscule fist did no harm.

It seethed in fury, watching Park from beyond as he soared across the pages.

"Impatient little one you are."

"WHO SAID THAT?!"

It darted it's eyes back and forth in the darkness.

"And who are you to raise your voice at me?" The subtle calm voice held it by its heart if it had one. It instinctively knew that whoever was in this space with it, was not to be trifled with and along with it came a disgusting, long-forgotten feeling that turned the apparition inside out, "You're but a piece of my mercy, and an insignificant one at that."

*Huff! Huff! Huff!*

Fear.

"Now," the overwhelming presence crushing the apparition was gone, "let's begin again, shall we?"
