2 days later: in JaeHwa's office.
"Let go of me." Hwa young said as he struggled to get up from JaeHwa's lap.
As he continued to struggle, there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Jaehwa said.
Jihoon walked looking irritated and frustrated, "Oh Jihoon, what are you doing over here?" JaeHwa asked.
Jihoon pulled out the key and showed it to him, "we're going to Thailand for a while, and I won't be needing this anymore." He stated.
"You're little fun ended so soon?" Jae questioned, "I guess you can say that." Hoon chuckled.
"But more fun awaits me in Thailand." Hoon added as he placed the key down.
"It's been a while uncle HwaYoung." Hoon said as he looked over at HwaYoung who was still seated on JaeHwa's lap.
"Oh yes, it's very nice to see you Jihoon." HwaYoung replied nervously.
"Next time then." Jihoon smiled as he walked out the office.
As the door clicked shut behind Jihoon, the tension in the room thickened. HwaYoung let out a shaky breath, his body still tense from the encounter. JaeHwa's grip around his waist tightened slightly, but he didn't say anything at first, just watched the door where Jihoon had exited.
HwaYoung finally managed to slide off JaeHwa's lap, standing up and smoothing down his clothes with trembling hands. He avoided looking directly at JaeHwa, a mix of embarrassment and anxiety evident in his every movement.
"He's changed so much," HwaYoung murmured, almost to himself, as he straightened his tie. "I barely recognized him. What happened to the Jihoon I used to know?"
JaeHwa leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful but unreadable. "Time changes people, HwaYoung. He's been through a lot—more than you realize."

Jihoon's pov:
As we landed in Thailand, I suddenly got a text from TaeHyun. An… old friend.
TaeHyun: I heard you guys were coming over, let's meet somewhere else I want to have alone time with you.
My finger hovered over the screen hesitant on whether I wanted to see TaeHyun alone, after our last encounter 7 months ago I don't think I would have the strength of seeing him alone.
After all facing an ex is an awkward situation, but there's no way I could say no to him.
Jihoon: sure where?
It didn't even take a second for him to reply,
TaeHyun: great, meet me at the beach house you know where.
I gulped, "come one Jihoon, why are you just standing there." Mom said.
"Can I catch up to you later, I have to meet up with someone." I told her.
"We just landed and you're already running off to somewhere else." Dad added.
"Please." I begged. "Fine, Mr. Lee will drive you." Mom said.
I thanked my parents and quickly made my way to the designated meeting spot. The drive to the beach house was filled with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. The thought of seeing TaeHyun again stirred up a storm of emotions within me. We hadn't parted on the best terms, and the months since had only intensified my feelings of discomfort and unresolved tension.
As the car approached the beach house, the familiar sight of the coastal landscape came into view. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the horizon. The tranquility of the scene contrasted sharply with the turmoil inside me.
I stepped out of the car, taking a deep breath of the salty sea air. The beach house stood before me, an imposing yet inviting structure. I walked up to the front door, my heart pounding with every step.
Before I could knock, the door swung open, and there stood TaeHyun, looking exactly as I remembered—confident, charming, and just a little intimidating. His smile was warm, but his eyes held a hint of apprehension.
"Jihoon," he greeted, his voice smooth and inviting. "It's good to see you."
"Hi, TaeHyun," I replied, trying to keep my tone neutral despite the nerves prickling at my skin.
"I've missed you!" He rejoiced as he hugged me.
I couldn't help but melt into his hug, this was the only hug I've ever known from the only person I've ever liked in my entire life.
"I've missed you too" I said softly, forgetting all the pain that this person has ever caused me.
As I held him in my arms, the familiarity of his embrace brought a rush of conflicting emotions. For a moment, I allowed myself to sink into the warmth and comfort, forgetting the reasons why we had drifted apart in the first place. His scent, his touch—it all felt so natural, like slipping back into a routine I had once known so well.
But beneath the surface, a small voice whispered reminders of the past. The pain, the misunderstandings, the heartbreak. Yet, in this moment, none of that seemed to matter. I found myself clinging to him just a little tighter, unwilling to let go.
TaeHyun pulled back slightly, just enough to look me in the eyes. His smile was gentle, and his gaze softened as he brushed a stray hair from my forehead. "You don't know how much I've been waiting for this," he murmured.
My heart pounded in my chest, each beat echoing the words I hadn't allowed myself to say aloud. "I didn't think I'd see you again," I admitted, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Well we did end on a bad note," he nervously chuckled.
"But I promise you what you saw last time was a misunderstanding, please forgive me." He said looking up at me with his usual puppy eyes that would make me fall into his trap all over again.
TaeHyun's eyes searched mine with a vulnerability that tugged at the edges of my resolve. It was hard to resist the pull of his earnest expression, but the memories of our last encounter loomed heavy in my mind. I wanted to believe him, to trust that this time could be different, but doubt lingered like a shadow.
"I've been carrying the weight of our last argument for too long," I admitted, my voice trembling slightly. "It's not easy to forget the hurt."
TaeHyun's gaze softened further, and he took a step closer, his hands gently resting on my shoulders. "I know. I'm sorry for everything. I never wanted to hurt you. I just... I guess I didn't know how to express what I was feeling. But I've missed you more than I can say."
There was sincerity in his voice, a raw honesty that made it hard to stay guarded. My heart ached with a mix of hope and fear. Could we truly mend what had been broken? I took a deep breath, searching for the right words, but found that silence spoke louder than anything I could say.
TaeHyun seemed to sense my internal struggle. "Please." He begged.
I hesitated for a while but then again I couldn't push him away, his the the one I've been longing for. No matter how much he has hurt me I always find myself crawling back to him and giving into his trap, he knows how much I love him and how he has me wrapped around his fingers.
"You know I can never say no to you." I said slightly smiling.
TaeHyun's eyes brightened at my words, and his expression shifted from uncertainty to relief. He gently cupped my face in his hands, his touch tender and reassuring. "Thank you," he said softly, his voice carrying a mixture of gratitude and affection.
I could feel the warmth of his hands seeping into my skin, easing some of the tension that had built up inside me. The familiar sensation of his touch brought a surge of emotions I had tried to suppress, a reminder of how deeply intertwined our lives had been.
Suddenly he pulled me in for a kiss
His lips met mine with a tenderness that seemed to dissolve all the barriers we had built over time. The kiss was soft and exploratory, as if he were trying to convey everything he couldn't put into words. I felt a rush of warmth spread through me, an intense mix of affection and longing that had been dormant for so long.
For a moment, everything else fell away—the past grievances, the uncertainties, and the pain. It was just the two of us, rediscovering a connection that had always been there, waiting to be rekindled. The kiss deepened, and I found myself responding with equal passion, my arms wrapping around him as if to anchor myself in this fragile but hopeful moment.
When we finally pulled away, our breaths mingling in the space between us, I saw the emotion reflected in his eyes—hope, love, and an earnest desire to make things right. He looked at me with a vulnerability that was both endearing and reassuring.
"Let's have a little fun tonight," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

The stay in Thailand was great, Hyeon and I explored Bangkok the food and the culture. On top of that I somehow started to rebuild my bond with TaeHyun, but something felt different about him.
He was a bit distant, he would ghost me from time to time and just show up when he wanted something for me. Which was mostly Sex, he would sleep with me have a little fun with me and then leave.
Now it's our last day in Thailand, and the last time I've seen him was 3 days ago.
———————
Later that evening I suddenly got a text from him:
TaeHyun: come to this address XXX, I want to see you before you leave.
As I read the text from TaeHyun, a mix of emotions surged through me—curiosity, frustration, and a lingering sense of hope. I glanced at the address and noted it wasn't too far from where I was staying. Despite the uncertainty of what to expect, I decided to go.
It might be our last chance to address
everything between us before I left Thailand.
I arrived at the address TaeHyun had sent. It was a small but luxurious hotel, it was obvious what he meant by fun.
He didn't want to talk, he wanted an intiment night and after that ,things will go back to the way they were.
I looked up at the hotel building and hesitated, I was already deep into his trap to escape it now.
The sleek façade of the hotel loomed before me, a stark reminder of the pattern I'd fallen into with TaeHyun. Each visit, each moment of intimacy had started with a promise of something more, only to leave me feeling used and conflicted. This time seemed no different, but the pull of familiarity and unresolved feelings made it hard to turn away.
I took a deep breath and entered the hotel lobby.
The staff greeted me with polite smiles, and I made my way to the elevator, my heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. As the elevator doors opened to his floor, I walked down the corridor to the room number he'd given me, each step feeling heavier than the last.
When I reached his door, I hesitated for a moment before knocking. TaeHyun opened it almost immediately, his face lighting up with a familiar, reassuring smile. But as I stepped inside, the atmosphere of the room—the soft lighting, the plush bed—was unmistakably geared towards intimacy.
"Hey," he said softly, closing the door behind me. "I'm glad you came."
I managed a small, strained smile. "Yeah, I'm here."
He moved closer, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into an embrace. I could feel his warmth, his familiar scent, and the conflicting emotions inside me grew stronger. Part of me wanted to give in to the comfort of his touch, but another part felt deeply unsettled by the situation.
"TaeHyun," I began, pulling back slightly to look him in the eyes, "I need to understand what this is about. Is this just about tonight, or is there something more you want to say?"
TaeHyun's smile faltered for a moment, and he looked away. "I... I just wanted to see you before you left. I thought maybe..."
He hesitated, clearly unsure of how to continue. The ambiguity of his intentions only added to my frustration. I took a deep breath, trying to steady my emotions.
"If this is just about sex," I said quietly, "then I need to know now. Because if it is, I'm not sure I can do this."
TaeHyun's gaze dropped to the floor, his expression troubled. "It's not just about that. I've been struggling to figure things out. I know I've been distant, and I'm sorry. I thought maybe if we had one last night together, we could talk about things..."
I shook my head, feeling the weight of the situation press down on me. "I don't want to be in a relationship where I only see you when you need something. I need to know if you're genuinely interested in working through this, or if you just want a temporary fix."
