But it was too late for her to take back what she did because even if she was extremely embarrassed about it, she was extremely happy and proud of what she did. After all, she's finally taking her own steps to make herself happy. She's not going to let things slip away from her, especially after knowing that Mio has already basically come out of her retirement. Now, a lot of people would crowd for her, and there wasn't a single thing about it that she liked.
So with that, she slept like the best in her life with dreams even of her being happy in Mio's arms.
The morning soon came, and Mio felt a little better after a good night's rest, but now she had to get ready and go to school to teach her students like the good teacher she was. If before, she didn't know where to start, now she has a proper idea after she met with Yuki. So with a heavy and aching body, she stood up and went to take a bath and change her clothes and went to the kitchen.
"Oh… You already cooked breakfast; I didn't expect it…" Mio said with an awkward smile as she carefully and weakly walked towards the dining table while using her Scythe, which had transformed into a cane as a support which immediately made her Spirit mad because he was rendered into such a pitiful thing.
"Yeah, I figured that you wouldn't be able to do it, so I just cooked us three breakfast, " Alice said with a warm smile as she pulled a chair for Mio before placing Aika on her own chair and sitting on her own before finally eating their breakfast in peace. Even though there were only small talks that happened, it was a peaceful breakfast that Mio had quite enjoyed.
"Alright, let's go now, Aika, or else I'll be late. You can also come with us, Alice. Because I have to request for you to let me access the Training Field, I want to hold a new type of Activity for everyone to do." Mio said with a smile as she gripped her cane and walked outside her apartment with Aika trailing behind, as well as Alice.
Alice didn't say anything and just agreed since it was free transportation, and she was also curious to know what kind of Activity/Lesson Mio would do with her students because from what she could see and sense, it would be something different from what she usually does. So she is excited about it as she knows that she will also learn a lot from it.
As soon as they arrived, Mio simply exited the door with the two and separated ways from Alice as she headed straight towards her classroom as she was already late. She has already stated that she won't allow late students, but now she's the one who is late to her own class.
"I apologize for being late, I had some minor issues over the weekend." Mio apologized as soon as she entered her classroom, which made everyone gasp in shock. Their normally cold and aloof teacher was pale, weak, and most of all was using a cane to walk.
All of them were instantly worried seeing her like this. Irene, who was just chilling in Class F because she had been transferred there, already appeared in front of her and held her arm, supporting her before anyone could even approach Mio.
"Teacher Mio… what happened to you? Why do you look so pale and weak?" Irene asked worriedly as she sat Mio down in her chair while looking at Aika for answers, but it was useless because Aika couldn't see her looking at her, but of course, she could feel her.
"I also don't know why big sister is weakened…" Aika just said worriedly as she lied in front of everyone.
"Oh… Don't cry, Aika. We didn't mean to make you sad; we just thought that you also know the reason why." Xian'er said as she carried Aika and began comforting her with soft and gentle words before looking at Irene to make her stop prying on the poor little girl.
"I'm actually worried because late at night, big sister Mio suddenly came home after being gone for 2 whole days, and she was extremely weak for some reason." Aika sobbed softly which just made the other's heart break after hearing the sadness in her eyes.
But Mio wasn't like that; she almost choked because of what she heard. Aika was actually playing with her right now by making them even more suspicious of her, but she doesn't have any plan on telling them anything because she simply wants everyone to learn.
"Don't ask me because I'm not going to tell you anything. If I didn't even tell it to my own sister, don't expect me to give you an answer either." Mio said exhaustedly as she simply let everyone take their seat, not even questioning why Irene was in her Class after seeing the new Attendance list. It didn't take long for her to be done, and she began announcing some things.
"I'm sure you have heard what our Goddess has said, and there's no reason to believe it, now, because of it, I hope that all of you are more inclined to believe what I said that the Education System that we currently have is a total flaw and failure," Mio said as she began setting things straight as she stood up and began writing on the board, or at least tried.
"Study Hard and Well!"
"Now… I'm not going to have a lesson for today because I want to say this to all of the students later on in our large class. But for now, I want all of you to study hard. That's all, class is dismissed." Mio said before sitting back down in her chair with a thud, as it seemed that it was even harder and painful for her to raise her arms than walking.
"I should have just grabbed a wheelchair…" Mio muttered to herself but just pushed those thoughts away as she grabbed her cane once more and walked, but before she could even take a single step. Chisato and Xian'er were already by her side, holding both of her arms as a support.
This action simply caused a shock to Mio, but she wasn't even able to say anything as the two immediately led her back to the faculty room without any room for argument. Meanwhile, Aika was being carried by Irene, who was also following them from behind.
"May I ask what you three are trying to do to me?"
