"So… what do I do now? It's over right, I can go home now." Mio simply asked as she stood up with a cane supporting her as she couldn't walk properly and just as someone was about to assist her, she denied it. Simply stating that she need to get used to this if she still want to have a normal life and that she needed it because she still has a Class to teach in just a few days.
"I'll go home now and take a proper rest. Aika is still waiting for me… Shit! Fuck, I forgot that you're daughter is also there since I asked her to take care of Aika while I'm gone." Mio cursed at herself, knowing that she would be bombarded with questions about why she was so injured.
But even though she has clearly stated that she is not as dense as other people think, with Alice she doesn't truly see or feel that she is, or rather, she is just too dense to think about it. But Solar knew this, so she just smiled and patted Mio's back with a teasing smile on her face.
"Oh? Are you scared of meeting my daughter? It's quite surprising to see you scared of meeting a woman who's not even a century old. Is something about my daughter making you scared?" Solar said with a teasing and smug look on her face as right now she was just helping her daughter, but then she was suddenly strangled by the head by Yuki.
"What? I didn't quite hear you. Can you repeat what you just said?" Mio asked with a light smile that definitely was not a smile as even though with her weakened state, she was able to hold Solar's head and lift her above the ground making her scream, to which everyone just laughed at this.
"I'm not afraid; rather, I don't want to be bombarded with questions as I'm already tired and just want to take a rest," Mio said softly as she released Mio before going out of the Palace and taking out her car and flying back to her apartment.
There was no need to worry about being spotted by someone as her car can turn completely camouflage, and the only reason that she didn't accept being teleported to her apartment is that it was the one thing that will be actually detected by people as it would require a lot of Magic.
Teleportation Magic today is still one of the most powerful types of Magic, meaning they are also the ones that consume the most Mana, so activating them would naturally make people alerted. Especially those people with huge names.
"I'm home…" Mio said as she knocked on the door first before opening it, but as soon as she opened it, a little girl immediately jumped into her arms, making her fall down to the ground as she was just too weak to actually defend herself against it.
"Aika… woah, there… Calm down." Mio said while she tried to hide the pain in her voice as the force of Aika's body crashing down into her, and seeing this Alice who was standing behind, just carried Aika softly into her arms while looking at Mio with a worried look as she immediately knew that there was something wrong with her.
"Did something happen while you were gone, Mio? You're heavily injured. What happened to you?" Alice asked with an extremely worried face as she held Aika in her arms, worried that she might make Mio get worse.
Aika, who was watching this, couldn't believe what she was seeing; the two were married. Mio just came back from her job, tired, and her worried wife was there for her, trying to support her. But she just smiled at this, though she was guilty about making Mio fall down as she simply didn't expect that she would be this weak after such a fight.
"I… well, something came up to where I was… So yeah… I became like this, but don't worry though, I can still handle myself. I'm just fairly weak right now." Mio said with a light smile as she tried to lift herself up but couldn't as she was simply too weak, and seeing her like this made Alice's heart ache. She simply then placed Aika down and helped Mio to stand up by holding and supporting her body with her own.
"I see… would you like for me to give you a leave to school?" Alice just asked as she placed her arms around Mio, actually making the woman embarrassed internally as she didn't expect for Alice to be so helpful and attentive of her. But she didn't show it to the two of them, she simply acted calmly as if nothing had happened.
"No, it's not needed. I'll still go to school, it's not as bad as you think. I can still walk and definitely teach my students, and I would hate going absent because of my own stupidity that made me sick." Mio said with a weak and soft smile as she just allowed Alice to take her to her room with Aika following from behind with a smile hanging down on her face.
"I see... Well, if that's what you want, then I'll simply agree. But do tell me if you feel uncomfortable, and I'll let you take an early leave." Alice said with a soft smile as she settled Mio in her bed and tucked her with the sheet, but before Mio could respond, she was just as shocked as Aika when Alice kissed her cheeks and said goodnight with a loving face as she left the room almost immediately.
"What the fu… Don't tell me… Does she also have." Mio was stunned as she felt her face instantly heat up because of that.
In all her life, she had never felt something like this. Even with Najin's constant flirting with her, she had never felt flushed to the point of blushing, but she couldn't even imagine what kind of face she was making right now. But she quickly regained composure when she felt Aika jump into her arms.
"I think that's a clear answer already big sister on what sister Alice feels about you." Aika chuckled as she settled in Mio's arms, feeling its warmth that she missed for 1 day.
"Shut up… you're still too young to talk about that. Let's just sleep now." Mio said in a hushed tone as she buried Aika's head in her chest to make her shut up. She closed her eyes to sleep to try and forget what Alice had just done to her.
Meanwhile, Alice was in the guest room, absolutely trashing her bed in embarrassment as she couldn't believe that she would do such a bold thing. Her face was extremely red and she felt that her heart could burst out of her chest, but it was a good feeling, something she didn't expect.
"I can't believe I did that… I must be so fucking shameless in her eyes… But kissing her felt good… I wonder what it would feel like to kiss her on her lips?" Alice asked herself, but just as she started to imagine it, she blushed even harder as she buried her head in her pillows and trashed around once more.
