"Ugh... What am I doing wrong here?"
We could see the best friend of Zeno sitting in front of a desk that's full of books and papers. He currently reverse-engineering the rune he made at Beenz. It wasn't hard, but it wasn't easy. He was just agitated, he could potentially be the reason for Universes being erased, and he didn't want that. 'Everything comes with a price, it seems.
'How 'bout I take a break, I won't go anywhere with a hot brain.' Dante thought and sighed, standing up and walked towards the balcony of Ciri's room. That's right, he and the ashen haired girl were still living in the same room from the time he got here and until the current. Fortunately, the girl opened up to him in less than a week, which made him chuckle. For some reason, the girl always made him smile. His heart flutters whenever he looks at her, especially when she's smiling. He doesn't know why, he never felt this way to anyone before. Being the son of a powerful and rich man, he had a lot of girls offered to him, prostitutes and models, even actresses. 'Let's not think about that...'
It has been two months since he arrived at Kaer Morhen, making friends with all of them was easy. He didn't believe that Witchers are void of emotions as what the books and rumors say, if that were really to happen, then they wouldn't care for one another. The prime example of that is how the Witchers cared for Ciri. When he sees them, they always looked like a family, and they are. They are family in all but blood.
He couldn't help but smile when he saw Ciri training with Geralt, and being an asshole to the latter. 'How 'bout I go down.'

"Too slow..."
Ciri was currently trying to hit Geralt with a wooden sword, with the latter only dodging. Slashing and hacking, it was relatively easy... for Geralt to dodge, I mean. "Is that all you got?"
"It's only been two months, of course, I'm still bad at this." Ciri panted while wiping her sweat, "Make it a year and I'll beat you left and right!"
Geralt chuckled and turned around, "Reasons... we're done, why don't you clean up, I bet Eskel's done hunting." and walked away.
The girl only pouted but smiled and nodded, "Just so you know, I'm letting you off today!"
"Quite lively aren't you?"
Ciri turned her head and found Dante sitting on a rock, "Well how about that, it's rare to see you outside."
"How about a spar?" Ciri grinned.
Dante raised a brow but smiled in return, "Don't cry after."
"In your dreams!" Ciri exclaimed and dashed towards the raven-haired, making him sigh. 'How hot-headed.'
As the wooden sword on the girl's hand was about to hit Dante, an inch in, and he disappeared from her view. 'Wha-'
"Was that it? then we're friends now right?" Dante smugly said then picked his nose. "How about you challenge again in a million years?"
Gritting her teeth, Ciri again, dashed towards him and slashed her sword horizontally. Then out of nowhere a wooden sword appeared out of Dante's hand and blocked her strike. 'D-Damn...'
"Come on, faster!" The raven-haired taunted the girl and grinned. "Unless you want to surrender, that's fine with me..."
"Ha!" Striking again, being faster this time. Ciri sweated a lot and as her strike was blocked, she then suddenly collapsed without notice.
"Ciri!" Dante dashed towards the ashen haired and caught her. "You okay? I think you've in the sun for too long." he sighed, "Let's go, I'll carry you to your room."
Ciri was resisting and wanted to say, "I'm fine, I can walk." but she never got the chance to say it as she was carried, princess style. "Bu-"
"No buts, let's go." Dante insisted and walked towards the keep, while Ciri could only nod, and her face blushing so hard. "So we're friends, right?"
"W-well, you beat me, I guess?" Ciri couldn't think properly as their face were too close to each other.

As that was happening, an old man was watching the situation from a balcony. Yep, Vesemir. He was smiling from ear to ear, seeing how lovely they looked. 'Ah... young love, I wonder how you're doing... Mignole.'
"Vesemir, the food's ready." Lambert walked up beside the old man with Geralt following, and chuckled at what he saw, "I wonder how love feels, have you folk experienced it?"
"Once, but a witcher's work is a hard one," Vesemir shared, "you can't feed a family with an underpaid job."
Geralt stayed silent but Lambert sighed, "I guess... well, I got a feeling that these two are bound to be together. It feels like they're destined, but whatever..."
Lambert turned around and walked towards the stairs to go down, meanwhile Geralt sighed.
Vesemir noticed this, "So, you really think you're destined with Ciri?" he folded his arms as they watched Ciri being picked up by Dante.
"Yes, but not as a lover, but as a family." Geralt said, thinking about his experience with the queen of Cintra and her daughter. "Besides, I can't help but think about a certain woman, I don't know why."
"Yennefer of Vengerberg, one kind of a lass that one." Vesemir chuckled and patted Geralt's back, "Don't overthink things, we have food to eat."
Geralt just sighed and went with the old man downstairs, perhaps Vesemir was right, he was overthinking. 'Troublesome...'

"Let me ask you one last time, where is Dante-chan?"
"Lord Zeno, we don't know. He said he was going somewhere but haven't returned. We checked his destination, Earth, but couldn't find his signature there." Whis was trying his best to remain calm and explain as best as he could.
"Hmm... Find him again, if you stop finding him, bye-bye..."
"Yes, we will do so!" Whis bowed deeply.
"Good!" Zeno smiled and floated with his guards before disappearing.
"That damn brat, where is he?" Beerus muttered, never was he afraid but Zeno was just so scary. They aren't fooled by that monster's childish personality, a psychopath's hiding inside that persona.
"I don't know Lord Beerus, but we need to find him. If he's alive that is." Whis got up and cupped his chin, "But the question is how, those runes he was making were not understandable, even the best rune masters in all universes can't decipher his formula."
"You've got a great student Whis, smarter than me," Beerus looked up the sky, "But that brat is gonna be the death of me one day!"
The god of destruction shouted then sighed, "Now, how 'bout we go back to Earth, I'd like to try Sushi again."
"As you wish Lord Beerus," Whis sighed, "As you wish."
