Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Reward

How could someone experience four beautiful girls dancing without money? Even standing below the stage, you might not get the chance to witness it.

Zach didn't know much about dance, but like most men, he had an appreciation for beauty.

When a beautiful girl with a great figure moved her body—even just a few twists and turns—it was already a pleasure to watch.

Suzie and Bonnie both leaned into typical nightclub-style moves, similar to what most of the girls were doing down on the main dance floor. But because of their looks and curves, they still looked great doing it—pleasing to the eye, no doubt.

Anya, though new to the club scene and a little more reserved, had studied classical dance. Every movement she made carried an elegance and fluidity that was impossible to miss.

But what caught Zach's attention the most was Lina.

She had mentioned earlier that she majored in jazz dance. Zach hadn't known what that meant exactly—but once Lina started moving, he understood immediately.

This was like a K-pop girl group routine.

Zach wasn't someone who followed celebrities closely, but now and then, he'd catch a girl group music video just for the visuals.

He didn't care much for the lyrics—half the time, he couldn't even understand them. But the energy, the style, the charisma? That's what kept his eyes glued to the screen.

After all, who didn't enjoy watching a beautiful, sexy, confident girl take the stage?

Lina's outfit tonight was already bold—a black lace tube top paired with a black mini skirt that showed off her glowing skin and a pair of long, toned legs.

Now, paired with her sharp dance moves, she looked like a fierce little temptress—each step and sway dripping with seduction. Zach couldn't look away.

She noticed.

Catching his gaze, Lina lit up. As she danced, she stepped down from the stage and made her way toward him.

Anyone familiar with girl group choreography knew it was filled with suggestive motions—and right now, Lina was using every one of them to full effect.

She danced close to Zach, locking eyes with him, her body moving in sync with the music, just inches away from his. Every shift of her hips, every graceful twist of her frame, radiated energy and desire.

At that moment, Lina didn't hold back—she turned up the charm to its peak. She was irresistible.

There's a saying that floats around online:

"I don't envy fairy tales—I envy how the wealthy live their everyday lives."

Zach had nodded along to that sentiment before, watching girl group videos in the past.

But now? With Lina dancing for him alone, so close he could feel the energy of her skin, it felt like that fantasy had come true.

Good times always seemed to fly by, and before he knew it, Lina's dance had ended.

Though it had only lasted a few minutes, the routine had been intense—especially the final section, where she'd gone all in with fast, high-energy movements.

Breathing heavily, Lina flopped onto the sofa beside him, chest rher rising and falling as she tried to catch her breath. After a moment, she took Zach's arm and smiled confidently.

"So, Zach—how'd I do? Did I win?"

The other three girls glanced over, clearly waiting for his verdict.

"You win," Zach said without a second of hesitation.

"Yes!" Lina cheered, then leaned in closer, her voice turning sweet. "So, what's my reward?"

Zach looked at her and smiled.

"What do you want?"

"Anything from you, I'll love," she replied softly, blinking up at him.

Classic Girl move—she knew how to speak in a way that hit just right.

Zach hadn't put much thought into the reward earlier—it had just been a spur-of-the-moment comment. But Lina had gone above and beyond, so she deserved something.

After a moment of thought, Zach said,

"All right then—bring me your phone. Let's start by adding each other on WhatsApp."

Although she was a bit curious, Lina still obediently pulled her phone from her purse and added Zach as a contact.

Is he planning to send money directly?

The other girls couldn't help but wonder. After all, asking to add someone first usually meant red envelopes or transfers were involved. Naturally, they began guessing how much Zach might send.

Maybe $888? $1111? Or something like $2222?

Once Lina's friend request came through, Zach tapped "Accept," then looked at her with a smile and said,

"Open your Amazon app. Check your cart and choose the option to request a friend to pay."

"Huh?" Lina blinked, confused for a second—then suddenly realized what he meant and gasped:

"Wait, you're going to help me clear my shopping cart?!"

Zach chuckled and replied playfully,

"Why, don't like that reward?"

"No, no, I do!"

Lina quickly waved her hands, flustered, and explained,

"It's just… I kind of like online shopping, and my cart's a little full…"

Still, she opened the app and scrolled through her shopping cart before hesitantly handing the phone over.

"Honestly, most of this stuff I just added for fun. I wasn't planning on buying all of it. Maybe you can just pick out a nice set of makeup for me instead?"

Zach didn't say a word. Instead, he took Lina's phone and glanced at the screen. Across the table, Suzie and Bonnie leaned in curiously to get a look too.

Sure enough, Lina's shopping cart was full—twenty or thirty items in total.

Most were cosmetics, clothes, and similar items. While the beauty products were from high-end brands, the priciest set barely topped $450.

What stood out, however, was a Louis Vuitton handbag nestled in her cart.

It was listed through a third-party seller—a classic model—and priced at a steep $4,200.

Altogether, the total came out to over $7,800.

After skimming through the list, Zach glanced at Lina with mild surprise.

He had just said he'd clear out her shopping cart, and all she had to do was agree.

Even if he had second thoughts after seeing the total, chances were he would still go through with it—he'd already made the grand gesture, and backing out now would make him look weak.

Besides, based on how casually he'd dropped money on that premium Imperial Luxe Set earlier, it was clear Zach wasn't short on cash.

But Lina didn't jump at the offer. Instead, she calmly showed him the cart and suggested he just buy her one nice set of cosmetics—letting Zach decide what he wanted to do.

If he felt the total was too much, he could follow her suggestion. Even if he picked the $450 set, it would still be a fraction of the cost of buying everything.

That move, thoughtful and restrained, made a surprisingly strong impression on Zach—even though he'd initially approached this with a clear goal in mind.

She wasn't greedy. She knew her limits.

"You've got a good head on your shoulders," Zach said with a grin, reaching out to gently pinch Lina's cheek.

"But hey, I said it—so there's no backing out now."

With that, he tapped the checkout button and selected "Send to a friend to pay." A second later, the bill popped up in his Venmo feed.

Clean transaction. No hesitation.

[You spent $7,832 and received a cashback reward of $783,200!]

Another cool seven hundred grand in the bag. Hell yes.

"Oh my God! Zach, I freakin' love you!"

Lina was stunned. She launched herself at him with a squeal of joy, wrapping her arms around him and planting a kiss on his lips.

She had said earlier that a lot of the items in her cart were just wishful thinking—that she didn't seriously expect to buy them—but that was because she knew the total price was too steep.

She was afraid if she eagerly agreed, Zach would back off after seeing the cost, maybe even be turned off, thinking she was one of those gold-digging girls.

But the truth? Every item in that cart—every piece of clothing, every lipstick, every bottle of perfume—was something she'd handpicked because she genuinely loved it.

What shocked her most was that Zach hadn't even hesitated after seeing the LV bag.

She could maybe stretch her budget to buy one or two of the other items each month, but that bag? That was a pipe dream.

Her family wasn't struggling, and she got a monthly allowance of around $500, but most of it went toward fashion and makeup. She barely saved anything.

The reason she had the bag in her cart was simple—she liked to look at it, fantasize about owning it, and treat herself someday if she managed to save enough.

But right now, she had only a couple hundred stashed away. The LV bag had always felt impossibly out of reach.

And now, just like that, Zach had handed her the thing she wanted most—with a few casual clicks.

How could she not be thrilled?
