Chapter Eight: "The Parrot That Knows Too Much"
The parrot, whom Aunt Pauline named "Sir Squawksalot," had become far too familiar with the neighborhood's secrets. He would constantly squawk, "I saw you at the bakery with that woman, Peter!" and "Oh, you think I don't know you told Pauline about the lasagna incident?"
Zoe wasn't sure if she could handle another day of parrot gossip, especially when Sir Squawksalot started telling random neighbors that Zoe had been dating the postman.
