Inside a hidden chamber deep under the city, Sashini plugged the drive into a secure terminal.
"Ready to reveal why they're after you?" she asked.
He nodded.
The code decrypted slowly… revealing a live signal—someone was broadcasting the zero signal.
"Impossible," Pivithuru whispered. "Only NEXUS could do that. And they're gone."
"No," Sashini said, eyes narrowing. "They're still here. And they're about to erase half the city's memory."
He turned to her. "Then we stop them."
She handed him a second device. "Together."

Epilogue
The explosion at the old NEXUS broadcast tower lit the sky for only a moment. The signal was destroyed. And so were the last remnants of the agency that once tried to control minds through data.
Pivithuru looked at Sashini as the sun rose.
"We did it."
"For now," she said, loading a new encrypted drive into her pocket. "But I think this was just phase one."
And they walked away—into the shadows, but never alone again.
