Disguised as maintenance workers, they bypassed two security levels before triggering a silent alarm. Instantly, red lights flashed.
Sashini pulled him into a ventilation shaft.
"You ever miss the quiet life?" she whispered.
"I don't even remember what that is," he muttered.
They reached the core room. In the center: a massive tower of servers glowing blue… and a figure in a dark suit, staring at them.
