~AVA
"Where are you?" He asked as though he felt like I needed him. I told him and within five minutes, a Rolls Royce stopped in front of me. I looked at the window that got rolled down and saw his face. "Come!" He told me and I rushed into the car and hugged him tightly.
"Take me in Lucas! I don't mind being your pet or even your slave." I said out of nowhere and saw the look of surprise on his face.
"What a coincidence! I have until tomorrow to get a wife. Will you marry me, Ava Morales, and be my Mrs?" He said to me and I sat there stunned.
"Yes, I will!" I replied and quickly hugged him.
"Shall we head home now Master?" A voice said and it was then I realized that another person was in the car. I instantly behaved myself and bent my head feeling embarrassed.
That was too brave of me!
Some minutes later, I found myself in an estate that was very popular in the city.
BROOKS REGENCY
I froze in shock and tried to process it.
Heck! I knew this man was rich but was he really from the famous Brooks family? I turned to stare at him again and he just looked at me calmly.
When we got down, my eyes were drawn to the mighty fountain at the front of the main building, and I was amazed. "Welcome to the Brooks mansion. Please come in." He said, reaching for my hands, and I followed him in. His assistant was nowhere in sight anymore, and it was just the both of us. I stared around the environment and was wowed the moment I got into the living room. "I will help you to our room." He said and took me to the master bedroom. I knew Julian's mansion was beautiful but the Brooks mansion was a real definitely of luxury. The European style was glaring even though there was some touch of Spanish around. "That's the bathroom. I will be in the study room." He said and walked away.
I had a clean shower and then made my way to a feminine closet I saw. It seemed as though he was already prepared to have a woman in his life. I picked out simple pajamas and wore them.
It took me a while to climb his king-size bed, and I made sure to get to the other end so it would be impossible for him to touch me. The moment I felt like I should close my eyes, I felt him lay on the bed and my heart started to beat. "It's okay. I won't touch you before marriage." He muttered as though he could read my mind and in that instant, the storm in my mind calmed down.

I woke up the next morning feeling stronger than ever as I stretched and when I turned to the other side of the bed, I realized he was nowhere on it. Stunned, I then took out the blanket on me and realized that my body was still intact. Feeling even better, I got out of bed and noticed a note on a glass side table close to the bed. When I picked it up, it read, "Our marriage papers are ready; come sign it and become mine forever."
I grinned and quickly freshened up, and after a deep breath, I walked out of the room. From the top of the stairs, I could see a few men dressed in black suits with documents on the table.
Lucas was casual and just sat in their midst going through a certain document. I cleared my throat the moment I got down and that brought their attention to me. "Good morning!" I said and Lucas immediately got up to help me sit.
"Good morning, wifey," Lucas said in my ear, and it went straight to my heart.
"Greetings Miss Ava!" The men greeted me, and I couldn't help but give a slight bow.
"Here, sign here!" Lucas whispered to me and seeing that it was the marriage agreement, I signed.
"You didn't go through the papers first Miss." One of the lawyers said to me.
I looked up and smiled. "I trust Lucas Brooks. He has no reason to use me." I said and they bowed.
A smile appeared on Lucas' lips.
After the process, I found myself holding my marriage certificate and couldn't help but close my eyes to take it in.
I just got married! There was nothing to regret either.
I went back to the room and sat on the bed. My phone rang at that moment and when I checked, it was Sharon. I didn't think it was the right time to talk to her so I messaged her, telling her I would call back later. I dropped the phone and when I picked up my phone again to stare at it, a message popped up. "Return when you go hungry!" Julian has sent and I couldn't help but chuckle and flung the phone to the bed.
"You won't reply?" I heard Lucas say as he walked into the room. I looked up and then shook my head. "Thank you for marrying me." He said to me and I got up and walked closer to him.
"This is a big favor to me. I should be thanking you. I will do everything you want. All you have to do is say it and it's done. I have no name so it's okay if you wouldn't like anyone seeing us together either. I will also be loyal to you." I said to him wondering if those words would mean a thing to him.
"I don't need you to do everything I say, Ava. I just want to help you get back to yourself. Ava...look at me." He said and raised my chin slightly so I could look into his eyes but that terrified me. I didn't know what I would see if I looked in there. He didn't push further and took his hands down. "what's your fear?" He asked me.
"I don't have a single fear anymore. My biggest fear already happened to me." I told him, and that got him silent for a while, and in the next moment, he walked away. I stared at his back and it dawned on me that he was up to something.
