As soon as Aarya told his mother he wouldn't be going to the market, both his mother and sister left the house in the morning.
Aarya was busy building a bicycle and lost track of time. Later that evening, when his father returned from work, he asked, "Aarya, where are your mother and sister?".Aarya replied, "I don't know. Mom and sis went to the market, and she didn't even call me for lunch."
Hearing this, both father and son began to feel uneasy. They asked their neighbors, but everyone said they had only seen the two in the morning and hadn't noticed them returning.
Fear started to set in as the father and son searched together, through nearby homes, streets, and colonies, but they found no sign of them. They even went to the market, where a shopkeeper told them the two had left after buying groceries. Just as they were deciding where to search next, a villager came running toward them and said, "Ben, you need to come to the blacksmith's place immediately—it's about your wife."
Hearing this, both father and son rushed to the blacksmith's shop, where a crowd had gathered in a tight circle. As Ben pushed through the crowd, what he saw made him collapse to his knees, screaming so loudly that the sound echoed through the village, followed by heart-wrenching sobs. Aarya, held back by a villager, shouted, "Let me go! Let me go!" The villager tried to stop him, saying, "You shouldn't see this." But determined to reach his father, Aarya bit the villager's hand, freeing himself.
He ran through the crowd and froze in shock at the sight before him: his mother's head had been decapitated, and his sister lay on the ground, bleeding from a severe head injury. Both of them were dead. Aarya stood motionless, his mind unable to process what he was seeing. Then, he broke down, sobbing uncontrollably. Both father and son were consumed by grief, their cries echoing through the silent crowd.
One of the villagers explained : "The nobles killed them. One of the nobles was inappropriately touching the young girl, and her mother tried to stop him by biting his hand till he bled. Enraged, he threw the girl to the ground with such force that her head struck the floor, leaving her bleeding. Her last words were 'broth…' before she passed away. In retaliation for being bitten, the noble decapitated her mother."
Hearing this, both father and son were overcome with rage. Aarya began hitting his head against the ground, yelling through tears, "If only I hadn't asked mom to get that from the blacksmith, this wouldn't have happened!" Blood started dripping from his forehead as he continued, until a villager restrained him.
Aarya's father, unable to bear the grief, collapsed. The following day, a funeral was held for the mother and daughter
Afterward, both father and son withdrew into silence, locking themselves in their rooms and refusing to eat for three days.
On the fourth day, Aarya decided he needed to take care of his father and went to check on him. When he found the door locked and his father unresponsive, he broke the door down, only to discover his father had hanged himself from the ceiling.
Overwhelmed, Aarya screamed in anguish, his cries drawing neighbors to the house. They arrived to his house to see Aarya had already cut himself from suffering and his father hanged to ceiling. The villagers restrained him, pulling the blade away, and held him tightly as he sobbed uncontrollably.
Then he passed out, the villagers took him to the nearby infirmary (hospital) to get him treated.
