While walking out of the woods, Mina and Sora adjusted to walking in their new bodies and clothing. Sora was now 5'9, not nearly as muscular as his human form and his blonde hair flowed down to his shoulders.
Mina was now 5'6, also not as muscular and her jet-black hair was a shorter cut, also down to the shoulders, something she was not used to.
They were both happy to see their unique eyes remained the same.
They both wore green tunics with golden design patterns and were pleased with how comfortable they were. Mina wore black leggings, with brown boots and Sora had long, black socks, up to his knees and also wore brown boots.
"System, I'd like to change my race to human." Mina said out loud for her brother to hear.
"Ding! Transformation complete."
Sora stood in awe, as his sister wore the same clothing, he last saw her in, yet it was clean and brand new.
Little did they know, elven scouts saw the transformation and reported it to the royal guard.
"Please send a report to the Queen, we have a human shapeshifter representing Elven Royalty approaching with another Elf. They look like identical twins, so we should assume they are human traitors." One of the elf's said to a higher ranking official, who began sprinting toward the castle to notify the Queen.
Back in the forest, Mina reverted her transformation to elf and asked the system to leave her human hair.
To both of their surprises, the system obliged.
"You look amazing as an elf!"
"Thanks brother, it's strange seeing you so… dorky!" Mina teased.
"Ha. Ha. You're so funny. I do love these clothes though. They're very comfortable." Sora said.
As they walked out of the forest and up to the Kingdom's entrance, they couldn't help but shake the feeling everyone was ready to kill them at any second.
"Papers please."
"Apologies, we do not have papers. We were sent by the god of Nature to assist the Elves and bring them back to prosperity!" Mina said excitedly.
"Sent by the gods, you say?"
The elf who had sprinted to the Queen had returned.
"You are nothing more than shapeshifting traitors. Guards, lock them up and take them to the dungeon. Their trial is in one hour." The Elf said.
"This has to be some."
Sora was cut off by the Elf.
"I am Prince Xavier Fang. Save your words for your trial. We saw the woman shapeshift into a human. We know you're traitors."

As they walked down to the dungeon, they were thrown in two separate cells, right next to each other. They only noticed one other prisoner, a human, as they walked down.
"Your trial is in one hour. The King and Queen will hear your appeal. That is all." Prince Xavier said as he walked away.
"You two done and messed up bad if y'all gots a trial in one hour," the human said.
"What do you mean and what's your name sir?" Sora asked.
"Name's Gil but you can call me G. I've been down here for two years. I got caught snoopin' in some eleven treasures and they sentenced me to 15 years down here."
"Snoopin' or stealing G?" Mina asked while shaking her head.
"Little bit of both, but nothin' major. You two will be lucky to see tomorrow with outfits like that and a trial in an hour."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I'd reckon they consider you both spies of humanity impersonating royal elf's and well, they don't take kindly to those types of folks."
"This is a huge misunderstanding; we really are here to help the elves!" Mina couldn't hold back her tears.
"Well, I wish ya luck, but your fate is walking your way now."
"Thanks Gil. We will see you soon, don't worry." Sora said confidently.
"Well, least they're brave but they won't be seeing me any time soon. Those two are cooked geese." Gil thought as Mina and Sora were led upstairs.

The entire courtroom was stunning and beautiful. It reminded them of an enchanted meeting room, where the magic was endless, and the decorum was beautiful.
The King and Queen sat at the top, behind what looked like a Judge's stand in the human world, just with two spots instead of one.
Prince Xavier was the interrogator and no defense had been given to Mina and Sora.
"Please state your names and reasons for being here," Xavier demanded.
"I am Mina, and this is my twin brother Sora. We were sent by the god of Time, Chronos, on behalf of the god of Nature, to aid the elven race and bring them back to prosperity." Mina said.
"Then how is it a human has our royal bloodline's clothing, yet none of us know who you are?" Xavier asked.
"We have the ability to shapeshift, it's true. We will not deny that, but like my sister said, we are here to aid you in any way you see fit! Please believe us! We're here to help," Sora pleaded.
"Lies. For impersonating Royal Elders in attempts to infiltrate our Kingdom, the recommended punishment is execution," Xavier stated.
The crowd cheered, and Mina and Sora couldn't see where the cheering was coming from.
"Where is this cheering even coming from, and how is that a fair punishment?" Mina pleaded, with tears forming in her eyes.
"Even more proof they are not Royal Elders. They know not of our enchantments or spells, Mother, Father, your verdict please?" Xavier asked with a smug smile.
The King and Queen simply stuck their thumbs in the air, pointing upwards and proceeded to leave the room.
"You have been sentenced to immediate death. You will die by guillotine."
"That's so unfair!" Sora complained.
No other words were spoken as Mina and Sora walked, now with chains around their ankles, to what looked like an execution stage. A crowd of around 7,000 people appeared, cheering:
"Kill the traitors! Kill the Traitors!"
"Under the authority of the Fang Family, I hereby execute Sora and Mina Hart as traitors to our great Kingdom." Prince Xavier said, and the crowd erupted.
"Chronos is gonna be so pissed at us." Sora said to his sister.
"I won't transform next time I'm so sorry, this is my fault." Mina said with tears flowing from her eyes.
"Don't be sorry, we made rookie mistakes. It's not like they'll remember this, but we will!"
These were the last words uttered, as the guillotine made clean cuts.
"Ding! Quest failed. Teleporting you to Worlds Edge."
<><><><>
Mina and Sora found themselves back at Worlds Edge, and to their surprise, Chronos wasn't angry at all.
"Remember when I gave you two that amulet to verify yourselves… maybe try using that instead of fixing your hair!" Chronos said with a quiet chuckle.
"Death hurts!" Mina said.
"Yes, it does. At least they made it quick. These elves don't seem to waste time on idle chat and are all about business," Sora said.
"There are much more to the elves than you know now, but fortunately for you, the god of Nature is calm and understanding. He, nor I, expected you to succeed on your first try," Chronos said.
"The amulet sis. Remember the amulet. Prince Xavier was at the front gate and they saw us coming. This time, we will simply walk up, wait for them to state 'papers,' we will state our name and show the amulet."
"Sounds good brother. Chronos. Can you please change my elven hair to my human hair for me?"
"Certainly, I've added it to your system. I also recommend you two don't show any weapons until after you receive the blessing of the King and Queen."
"Thanks," Mina and Sora stated.
The next moment, they were in the exact same spot in the forest they were the day before.
"Round two. Let's not fail!" Sora exclaimed and they began walking through the forest.
