Chapter 1 - Crossing Over, Land of Light?

I: I am Ultraseven, a member of the Ultra Brothers.

II: I am not Stellar Observer No. 340, but Universe Observer No. 340, responsible for patrolling universes where Ultramen exist.

III: To my knowledge, the Ultra universe monitored by the Land of Light only extends to Ultraman Blazar . Ultraman Geed does not exist, please do not remember him .

IV: To my knowledge, the Plasma Spark Tower in the Land of Light is forbidden to enter. The last one who entered was Ultraman Belial, who has disappeared into the depths of the universe.

V: My disciple is Ultraman Leo, my son Ultraman Zero has not yet been born, please do not mention Ultraman Zero's existence.

VI: Note! In all universes where Ultramen have been discovered, Ultramen never actually existed; they only exist in the historical records of humans or other cosmic races.

  ...

This memory appeared suddenly in Seven's mind a week ago. The information seemed to materialize out of nowhere, causing Seven to repeatedly reflect on it. It didn't feel like someone else speaking, but rather like he himself wanted him to remember.

Before regaining consciousness, Seven had been battling a monster called Gomora in space. Gomora itself wasn't difficult to defeat, but the troublesome part was that this monster was merely a trap set by aliens. The true manipulator behind Gomora was the assassin alien Nackle, along with another monster it controlled—Black King.

Facing these three enemies, Seven was shocked to discover their extraordinary power. Despite having experienced countless battles, even having served as a mentor to Ultraman Orb alongside his son Zero, he still struggled against them. Fortunately, when the Nackle alien appeared, he had already sent an Ultra Sign to the Land of Light for help. While holding off the three powerful enemies, he persisted until moments before Ultraman and Ace were about to arrive, when Gomora's horn struck him in the abdomen. In the last moment before losing consciousness, he saw his brothers transforming into red spheres of light, arriving just a bit too late.

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in an environment both familiar and strange. He awoke in the Silver Cross Corps medical center, where a blue female Ultra warrior named Sola was responsible for treating him.

Sola's words to Seven sent chills down his spine: "Senior Seven, you've finally awakened. Senior Leo, whom you injured, still hasn't regained consciousness. Your methods were truly brutal this time—freezing Leo into an ice block on the ice planet Totani, then dismembering him into six parts and sealing them on four mutually repulsive planets, all just to train his ability to resist planetary gravity."

After hearing Sola's account, Seven felt a wave of dread. Despite having experienced many dangers, this bizarre situation still aroused his determination to uncover the truth.

He began to organize the current situation. First, this world's Seven was drastically different from himself. The Seven in this universe was extremely cruel, training his disciple in ways that bordered on torturing enemies. Dismembering Leo just to train Ultra willpower was utterly absurd. Even Ultraman Jack, a warrior with mental powers strong enough to repel oceans, couldn't reassemble body parts scattered across different planets. Not to mention four mutually repulsive planets—this was essentially a death sentence for Leo.

Subsequently, Seven met Ultraman, Jack, Ace, and other Ultras. They were almost identical to the figures in his memory. These visitors all came to criticize him for his overly harsh training methods with Leo. Ace even warned: "Astra is about to return, and he won't tolerate his brother being treated this way."

Seven still hasn't unraveled the truth about this Land of Light . Why is his identity Universe Observer rather than Stellar Observer ? Why has the Plasma Spark Tower become forbidden ground? If the known universe has been explored up to Blazar, why hasn't Zero been born yet? What exactly happened in this universe?

To this day, Seven remains puzzled by these questions. He spent a week gathering intelligence about this Land of Light. He discovered that there are no believers here; it is ruled by the Father of Ultra, and the Ultra King doesn't exist in this universe. Leo and Astra are both members of the Ultra Brothers and the Ultra Garrison. Seven is the only Universe Observer , with the mission of finding Ultramen outside the Land of Light.

However, what shocked him most was what he saw three days ago when visiting Leo. The Leo he saw was fragmented, like a dismantled building block toy placed on an operating table. His limbs were arranged in pairs, with his head barely connected to his torso due to surgery. The light from his forehead and eyes flickered weakly, while the blue timer on his chest had stopped functioning. Leo's body bore various injuries including frostbite, burns, and corrosion.

What was truly horrifying was the pale green bloodstains covering the operating table and floor. "Why is there so much blood?" Seven asked. The Ultra from the Silver Cross Corps replied matter-of-factly: "Being dismembered like this, how could there not be blood?"

Seven's pupils visibly contracted as he wondered: "How could Leo bleed? How could an Ultraman possibly bleed?"

At present, Zoffy stands before Seven and announces: "Universe Observer No. 340, Seven, you have a new mission. Three Ultra warriors sent to investigate the New Domain Universe have disappeared. Before disappearing, they sent an Ultra Sign. According to the Trans-Universe Light Particle Tracking Device, the Ultra Sign was initially sent from near the moon in the Solar System."

"Your mission is to find the three missing Ultra warriors, while not forgetting your primary objective—to find other Ultramen ."
