Chapter 4 - JKGA: Chapter 4

Masamichi Yaga had anticipated this question, and answered, "We haven't found him yet, but we'll bring him back as soon as possible."

The elder behind the screen let out a heavy humph, his voice colder, "Tengen is out of danger now, so we won't hold the mission failure against you. But Gojo Satoru's unauthorized purging of the Star Plasma Vessel Cult, and his subsequent disappearance without a trace, cannot be ignored!"

Masamichi Yaga frowned and said, "Wait, Gojo has been diligently exorcising cursed spirits all year. He—"

The elder harshly interrupted him, "Masamichi Yaga, are you trying to protect your student?!"

"..."

Suguru Geto's eyes narrowed slightly.

The Jujutsu Headquarters had called them here, clearly to give Gojo Satoru a hard time.

After a moment of thought, he spoke politely, "Excuse me, esteemed seniors, are you wanting to punish Gojo-kun because he killed the higher-ups of the Star Plasma Vessel Cult?"

"That is correct."

"Then, escorting the Star Plasma Vessel was a very important mission. This mission was crucial to Tengen's future and the next thousand years of the Jujutsu world. It was the most important event in the Jujutsu world. Is that correct?"

The elder behind the screen was a little confused, but he still answered, "Naturally."

He didn't know if he truly respected Tengen, but at least he was very respectful of Tengen, the thousand-year-old worker, on the surface.

Suguru Geto continued, "Gojo-kun and I both knew the importance of the mission, so we fulfilled our duties diligently. But there were two forces trying to obstruct us. One was the curse user organization 'Q,' and the other was the 'Star Plasma Vessel Cult.'"

Masamichi Yaga: "..."

Diligently? If he remembered correctly, these two little brats had taken the Star Plasma Vessel to Okinawa to play in the water halfway through the mission!

He cautiously closed his mouth, not wanting to expose his problem children's shortcomings in front of outsiders.

Suguru Geto said with a straight face, "These two organizations did everything they could to hinder us, even going so far as to kill the Star Plasma Vessel at the last moment. They stood against Jujutsu High, provoking Jujutsu High, provoking Tengen, provoking the Jujutsu Headquarters, and for their own selfish desires, they disrupted the safety of the entire Jujutsu world and even the entire society—was it not a righteous act for Gojo-kun to purge them?"

Jujutsu Headquarters: "..."

You little rascal, why are you trying to elevate this to such a high level?

Masamichi Yaga coughed lightly, pretending to stop Suguru Geto, "Geto, the elders of the Jujutsu Headquarters understand what you're saying. Even if you hadn't acted at the time, we would have purged the Star Plasma Vessel Cult and 'Q' later. The elders are concerned that Gojo acted without orders."

The rotten oranges of the Jujutsu Headquarters hypocritically said, "...Indeed. The Star Plasma Vessel Cult dared to provoke Jujutsu High when Tengen was in danger. Of course, we must purge them. But the Jujutsu world has its own rules. Gojo Satoru should not have acted without orders."

Suguru Geto immediately put on a sincere expression, "Gojo-kun had his reasons. The Star Plasma Vessel had already been killed by the enemy, and the fusion plan had completely failed. But even though everything was irreversible, Gojo-kun still decided to fight to the end for the sake of Jujutsu High and the Jujutsu Headquarters' dignity. He eliminated the Star Plasma Vessel Cult along with the killer they hired, all for the sake of Jujutsu High and the Jujutsu Headquarters' dignity."

Jujutsu Headquarters: "..."

It's not like they didn't know Gojo Satoru. Gojo Satoru's "Jujutsu Headquarters' dignity" was probably worth less than dog poop to him.

For a moment, they couldn't tell if Suguru Geto was serious or playing them.

Suguru Geto put on an act of sincere respect and trust, confiding in them, "Please, esteemed seniors, think about this. If the Star Plasma Vessel were killed, Tengen would only be able to evolve passively, and Jujutsu High wouldn't dare to do anything. What would the curse users think of us? Would they think Jujutsu High and the Jujutsu Headquarters are weak and easy to bully? What would the human government think of us? Would they think Jujutsu High is not worthy of their trust?"

In the long silence, Masamichi Yaga's heart pounded.

From behind the screen, a younger voice spoke, "This young Jujutsu sorcerer has a point. Although the Star Plasma Vessel Cult is a non-sorcerer organization, they believe in Tengen, they hired a killer first, and they actively involved themselves in major events involving Jujutsu sorcerers. So the Star Plasma Vessel Cult should be dealt with by the Jujutsu world. We have no objections."

Suguru Geto's eyebrows twitched, and he quickly exchanged glances with Masamichi Yaga.

This person seemed to be a representative from the human government, not a Jujutsu sorcerer.

—Excellent, there are outsiders present today!

Masamichi Yaga immediately felt confident. With outsiders around, these people from the Jujutsu Headquarters would have to keep their hypocritical masks welded on!

Masamichi Yaga immediately said, "And this can't be blamed entirely on Gojo Satoru. This time, Jujutsu High's overall strategy had problems. If we had sent Suguru Geto and Gojo Satoru to protect the Star Plasma Vessel while sending another group to control the higher-ups of the Star Plasma Vessel Cult, interrogating them, investigating their emails, and checking their bank records to find out who the killer was hired by, the kids' pressure would have been greatly reduced. The fact that things have gotten to this point is clearly not just Gojo Satoru's responsibility."

After a long silence, the rotten oranges of the Jujutsu Headquarters said softly, "Seven days."

"..."

"Within seven days, we want to see Gojo Satoru in person to confirm whether he has truly defected."

Masamichi Yaga and Suguru Geto walked out of the Jujutsu Headquarters, letting out a long sigh. Masamichi Yaga patted Suguru Geto on the shoulder, "Good job."

Suguru Geto tried to curl his lips into a smile, but he couldn't manage a relaxed expression.

For the past seven days, Gojo had been completely out of touch.

He was worried.

Buzz—

The phone in his pocket suddenly vibrated.

Sender: [Gojo Satoru]

A series of addresses were sent, pointing to a nameless village that didn't exist on the map.

Over the past seven days, Gojo Satoru had traversed all sorts of nooks and crannies in the mountains.

He was burning through the lollipops in his pocket, using them as practice for instantaneous movement. He had ruined several sets of clothes in the process, but thankfully, he had a cursed spirit that could store clothes. A certain ugly cursed spirit listlessly accompanied him, acting as his wardrobe and candy jar.

Since he didn't have much time to stop and charge his phone, Gojo Satoru simply turned it off. While searching for the target village, he reviewed the original "Jujutsu Kaisen" manga in the "cube," repeatedly pondering solutions to the "internal and external troubles," occasionally admiring the scene where Suguru Geto's remnant soul almost strangled Kenjaku.

Ha, even though he said things like "just a friend from the past," "does Gojo still trust me?" he actually cared a lot about his "friend from the past." Even his adopted daughters couldn't awaken "Suguru Geto's" soul, but "Gojo Satoru" could do it easily.

He was ruthlessly stepping on the future loves of Suguru Geto's life, while diligently searching for those loves.

Finally, on the seventh day, he found a suspicious village.

As Gojo Satoru walked into the village, he bumped into a plain-looking, fat man carrying a shovel. After recalling what the fat pig who had angered Suguru Geto in the "Hidden Inventory" arc looked like, Gojo Satoru was sure he had found the right place.

The fat man carrying the shovel was also startled when he ran into Gojo Satoru.

Gojo Satoru was currently wearing a black T-shirt and black pants, blending in perfectly with the gloomy forest. At first glance, you could only see his white head floating high above. His rare white hair and those blue eyes made him look like a monster appearing in the deep mountains.

The fat man instinctively took a step back, goosebumps erupting all over his body.

He said with feigned bravado, "Who are you? Why are you in our village?!"

Gojo Satoru stroked his chin, "Hey, does your village have a pair of twins? One with light blonde hair and the other with black hair, both with really bad personalities. What's their last name? Well, it doesn't matter. Anyway, they're my friend's daughters. I'm here to find them."

The fat man's face changed several times. Then, he angrily replied, "I don't know any twins! You, you get out of here right now! Our village doesn't welcome outsiders!"

"Hmm... I see."

Looking at the other man's panicked expression, Gojo Satoru smiled wryly. After a while, he actually turned and left.

He went back into the forest, found a spot with a better signal, and turned on his phone.

As soon as he turned it on, a flood of emails came in, causing his phone to freeze for a while. Gojo Satoru skillfully scrolled down, and after a while, finally found Suguru Geto's email.

[Gojo, where did you go? We're all worried about you.]

[You jerk, aren't you going to answer your phone???]
