The Unexpected Twist
As Sophia and Alexander stood there, they shared a moment of understanding. Sophia had agreed to give Alexander a chance, and he had promised to prove himself to her.
But as they walked away from the park, Sophia couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She didn't know what it was, but she felt a sense of unease.
Alexander seemed to sense her unease and took her hand. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice low and smooth.
Sophia hesitated, unsure of how to express her feelings. "I don't know," she said finally. "I just feel like something is off."
Alexander's expression changed, and for a moment, Sophia saw a glimmer of something in his eyes. It was a look of concern, followed by a look of determination.
"Let's get out of here," Alexander said, his voice low and smooth. "Let's go somewhere else."
Sophia nodded, and they walked to Alexander's car. As they drove away from the park, Sophia felt a sense of relief.
But as they stopped at a red light, Sophia saw something that made her heart skip a beat. She saw a man standing on the corner, watching them.
The man was tall and imposing, with a stern expression on his face. Sophia felt a sense of unease as she looked at him.
"Who is that?" Sophia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alexander followed her gaze and frowned. "I don't know," he said, his voice low and smooth. "But I think we should get out of here."
The light turned green, and Alexander accelerated. Sophia looked back, but the man was gone.
"What's going on?" Sophia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
