Chapter 10 - The party.

Kiara's pov

When I entered the party, I quickly let myself get swept up in the fun. Dancing and laughing with friends, the tension from my argument with Kyle felt like a distant memory. The music was loud, and the infectious energy made me feel alive.

After a while, I spotted Ben across the room. He waved at me, and his charming smile made my heart race. I made my way over to him, feeling the chemistry between us.

"Hey, you look amazing!" Ben said, pulling me close as we danced. His compliment made me feel even more confident and happy.

As the night went on, Ben leaned in closer and whispered, "Let's go upstairs for a bit. I want to show you something."

I hesitated for a moment, but curiosity got the better of me. "Okay," I replied, intrigued by what he had in mind.

As I started climbing the stairs, I glanced back at the party below. That's when I caught sight of Kyle standing near the entrance. He was just staring at me, his expression unreadable. My heart skipped a beat; it was as if time froze for a moment. Did he look hurt? Angry? Or just surprised?

I quickly looked away, trying to shake off the feeling that washed over me. The last thing I needed was to get caught up in whatever emotions were stirring between us again.

Ben continued to lead me up the stairs, and I tried to focus on him instead of Kyle's piercing gaze.

As they entered the room, the atmosphere shifted. The dim lighting cast a warm glow, creating an inviting space. She sat on the edge of the bed, her heart racing as Ben moved closer, his playful smile making her blush.

"Wow, you look incredible tonight," he said, leaning in just a bit closer. His eyes sparkled with mischief, and i felt butterflies dance in her stomach.

With each word, he flirted effortlessly, teasing me with compliments that made my cheeks flush even deeper. I could feel the heat rising between them as he leaned in, our faces inches apart.

Ben's gaze dropped to my lips, and i felt a magnetic pull drawing us together. As we finally kissed, it was soft at first—gentle and tentative. But soon it deepened as passion ignited between them. I could feel the desperation in his kiss; it was intoxicating yet overwhelming.

His hands found their way to my waist, fingers curling around me softly. I felt a rush of excitement mixed with uncertainty; it was thrilling but also left me feeling a bit vulnerable. As he pulled back slightly to look into my eyes, i caught a glimpse of his toned arms—muscular and defined, showcasing the hard work he put into staying fit.

"Wow," i thought, almost mesmerized by how attractive he was. His broad shoulders and sculpted chest added to his allure. I couldn't help but admire him as he leaned closer again.

Ben seemed to sense my hesitation and gently encouraged me to lie back on the bed. He followed suit, hovering over me as our lips met once more. The kiss deepened again, and i felt his hand caress my breast—a tender touch that sent shivers down my spine.

As he kissed along my neck, she felt both exhilarated and apprehensive. His warmth enveloped her; me was intoxicating yet left me feeling slightly overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment.

. We shared a lingering gaze filled with unspoken words before Ben gently brushed a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Let's just take our time," he suggested with a warm smile that made her heart flutter again.

As the atmosphere in the room grew more charged, i felt a mix of excitement and unease. Ben moved closer, his playful demeanor shifting into something more intense. I noticed the way his gaze lingered on my breast, making my heart race but also filling her with apprehension.

"Hey, just relax," he said, leaning in as he kissed me again. But this time, I felt his hands start to wander, moving from her waist to places that made me uncomfortable.

"Ben, wait," i said softly, trying to push him away gently. "I'm not ready for this."

His expression darkened slightly, but he pressed on. "I thought we were having fun. Don't you want this?" His voice was laced with impatience as he leaned closer, trying to pull me back against him.

I felt trapped, and panic began to rise within me. "No, please," i insisted, trying to stand up. "I really don't want to do this."

But Ben wasn't listening; he seemed determined to take things further. Just then, the door swung open, and Kyle stepped in.

---

As soon as Kyle entered, I instinctively ran to him, gripping his arm tightly. The rush of adrenaline coursed through me as I sought comfort in his presence.

"Oh, so you're with Kyle now?" Ben sneered, crossing his arms defiantly. The jealousy in his tone was palpable.

"No, it's not what you think!" I exclaimed, my heart racing.

"If you love me, tell Kyle to leave," Ben insisted, his eyes narrowing as he stepped closer, trying to assert his dominance.

I felt my heart drop at Ben's words, the weight of the decision pressing down on me. "Don't do this," Kyle urged, looking at me with concern. "Why are you letting him pressure you? This isn't you."

His voice was filled with sincerity and worry, but Ben's presence loomed over us like a dark cloud. I felt torn between two worlds—one that held the promise of safety and respect with Kyle and another that was filled with chaos and desire with Ben.

"Just tell him!" Ben demanded, frustration boiling beneath the surface.

I could feel the tension crackling in the air around us. Each second felt like an eternity as I stood there, unsure of what to say or do. My mind raced with memories and feelings—moments of laughter with Kyle contrasted against the thrill and danger I felt with Ben.

"Please," Kyle pleaded softly, his gaze unwavering. "You don't have to choose him. You deserve someone who respects you."

The words struck a chord deep within me, igniting a spark of clarity amidst the confusion. But then there was Ben, stepping closer again, desperation etched on his face. "You can't just walk away from what we have! Don't throw it all away!"

My breath quickened as I stood in the crossfire of their emotions—their eyes locked onto mine as if I held the key to their fates. The silence felt deafening; every heartbeat echoed in my ears.

"Choose!" they both urged simultaneously, their voices overlapping in a cacophony of expectation.

In that moment of sheer uncertainty, I felt like I was teetering on the edge of a cliff—one wrong move could send me spiraling into chaos or lead me to safety.

"I choose…....."

The words hung in the air like a fragile thread ready to snap under pressure.
