'Su-yeon discovered everything. My other self. The fear in her eyes…'
His own handwriting. But he had no memory of writing it.
Each page shook his hands more than the last.
'He's getting stronger. I don't know when he'll emerge again.'
That 'I'.
'Su-yeon might be in danger.'
Then— Thud. Thud. Thud.
He turned toward the living room.
A red liquid seeped through the floorboards.
No... it can't be.
But the metallic scent— It was blood.
He pulled open the floor. A hidden compartment.
Wrapped in cloth— Heavy. Wet. A hand.
A woman's hand. Wearing a ring. No… Su-yeon…?
He dropped it. Rushed to the mirror.
"Why did you kill her?!"
The mirror smiled back. 'She tried to separate us.'
"You're not me!"
'I'm the part you buried. The part you fear. The one who dealt with what you couldn't.'
"Why now? Why return?"
'Because you abandoned me.' 'You broke our contract.'
"What contract?!"
'We were one. Until you erased me.'
The mirror warped. 'Now it's your turn to pay.'
"What… price?"
'Su-yeon was the first. But she won't be the last.'
Not Eun-young. Please, not her.
"No—STOP!"
'You can't stop me. I'm inside you. I am you.'
CRASH! He smashed the mirror.
But every shard… still smiled back. You can never erase me.
He collapsed beside the bloodstained floor.
The diary… one last entry.
February 22. I will lock him away. I must forget. But I leave this record. So I may find the truth again.
I will stab my memory with this pencil. To erase him. But if he returns...Go back. Find. Remember.
He reached for the pencil. His body froze.
'It's already too late, Ji-hoon.'
His hand moved. Not his will. It picked up a mirror shard.
In the reflection— That smile. 'Now it's my turn.'
